We had a superb time at Oakley Court. We were two families with four little kids between us. The mansion house rooms we had were large and beautifully appointed with views over the river. The beds are extremely comfortable and the room amenities are generous. The staff are incredibly warm and helpful, plus very patient with many questions. Our kids were ecstatic when they went into the walled gardens and tucked away they found the biggest bouncy castle ever (well bouncy Stonehenge, I should say -- you'll have to look it up, never seen anything like it!) The River House is of course delightful and we all enjoyed a balmy summer evening and dinner there. Everyone loved the pool/jacuzzi time in the morning and in the afternoon we went boating, which was a memorable trip amongst the swans. We loved all the touches in the hotel, from the unusual antique furniture to the well loved plants. The staff team make the place feel like a community which is a rare thing and much appreciated. We will definitely return!
Pros: The location is good, it is great to have breakfast on the Thames and Eaton Bridge early in the morning. The same English breakfast. The parking lot needs to be parked outside. Disadvantages: Luggage and children pay attention, our room is in need of climbing the old British building three floors and it is the kind of transfer, the estimated trouble. The bed in the room is small and not suitable for a family of three. The extra bed did not know, there was no call. PS: The room is not air conditioned!
We had a one night stay and have to say it was great! Stayed in a larger room on the top floor with views of the castle and Guild Hall, truly lovely. Plenty of room for two adults and two little boys. Very clean and comfortable. The shower was super as were the lovely smelling toiletries, really good quality. Excellent quality tea, coffee and Nespresso in the room (proper milk in the fridge!) We also had complimentary mini bar in the suite (soft drinks only) and because we booked direct 4 free drinks from the bar including alcohol-that was a lovely surprise! The service at check in and check out was prompt, professional and friendly. Breakfast was excellent, really good variety and delicious. The lovely lady (maybe Filipina-sorry I didn’t get her name) who was managing breakfast this morning at 7:30am was super friendly and an asset to the hotel, keep hold of her!! But have to say all staff we encountered were professional and friendly. Easy to park and £30 for safe, convenient over night parking isn’t bad for central Windsor. We are staying again in December and already looking forward to it! If you need to be in Windsor to see the sights and want them on your doorstep then you can’t go wrong with the lovely Castle Hotel.

This is a lovely hotel. The staff are kind and helpful, the food is excellent, the rooms are very clean and comfortable. My friends and I had a lovely time here. Breakfast was particularly excellent with the food cooked to order and therefore very hot and very fresh. It is a short walk to the castle and Windsor has some lovely shops and good places to eat. Just across the road is the Long Walk and excellent views of the castle. It is also very easy to travel into London from here.
Breakfast 10 pounds did not have time to eat. Very special near the castle. There are also a series of places to eat, such as McDonald's. Close to one of the train stations. It is better to follow the navigation. The facilities are a bit old, but it is rare to provide shampoo shower gel. No slippers, no teeth, the whole is very good, it is quite big
I was nervous about staying here because of a lot of negative reviews. They couldn't be further from the truth. The staff were very welcoming when we arrived the lobby /entrance was very clean with plenty of hand sanitising points. The room itself was very comfortable, clean warm and spacious with great shower and tea and coffee making facilities. The breakfast room was a fully stocked kitchen with do it yourself breakfast consisting of fruit, a choice of breads yoghurt cereals muffins croissants tea and coffee. It was very quiet considering its right on the main shopping street very near the castle and theatre with loads of eating and drinking establishments on the doorstep. We had a very comfortable stay and will most definitely be visiting again.

I had high expectations for our recent stay at Legoland Resort on November 1st, particularly because we chose to book directly through their website, hoping for a better experience. Unfortunately, the entire stay left us feeling disappointed and, frankly, robbed of value. We stayed in adventure room and here’s what we encountered. 1. Overpriced Room with No Added Value: We paid £382 just for the room, with park tickets and extras costing even more. Shockingly, we later saw the same room on third-party sites like *********** for only £108. This pricing discrepancy was frustrating, as we felt misled and overcharged for an experience that didn’t meet basic expectations. 2. Check-In Delays and Lack of Support: We arrived at the resort in the morning, expecting an easy check-in process. While staff handed us access cards, there was no guidance on what to do while waiting, leaving us to wander the park without support or clear directions. 3. Disappointing “Reserve and Ride” System: We paid extra for the “Reserve and Ride” package, but the system was chaotic. Many rides were already full and unavailable for reservations, and staff shortages meant several queues were unmanaged, so we had to wait in regular lines despite paying for premium access. The app we relied on to navigate this system was poorly designed and frustrating to use, further diminishing our experience. 4. Substandard Room Amenities and Maintenance: When we finally got to our room, we found the bathwater barely lukewarm, despite setting it to hot. We reported it, but the issue was not resolved, leaving us unable to enjoy a proper bath. Basic amenities were also missing—one small bottle of shower gel and shampoo for a family room, with no additional items like cotton buds or even body moisturiser . Even budget hotels provide more essentials than we found here. 5. Poor Dining Experience at Sky Lounge: The food at the hotel’s Sky Lounge restaurant was overpriced and of poor quality. After just one bite, we left and went outside the resort to find a better meal. For the high prices charged, the food quality was unacceptable. 6. Room Cleanliness and Maintenance Concerns: The room itself was not clean, with loose ceiling tiles that seemed unsafe. We documented this with photos and felt that it was well below the standard for a room at this price. 7. Unengaged Staff and Poor Service: Staff seemed uninterested in providing a good experience. For instance, at breakfast, there was no one to greet us, and we saw staff members huddled in conversation rather than assisting guests. The lack of customer service was disappointing, especially at a family-focused resort like Legoland. When I raised these issues at checkout, the manager offered a £60 refund, which felt inadequate given the range of problems we faced. We had saved up for a special family experience, yet we left feeling deeply disappointed and, frankly, cheated out of what could have been a memorable stay for our daughter. For famil

Windsor Castle
MMing9734Windsor Castle is an extraordinary place in the UK. It is a must-visit spot for big fans of the British royal family. It is one of the favourite accommodations for Elizabeth II and the place of her tomb. I strongly recommend visitors wait for the change of the guards here.
LEGOLAND® Windsor Resort
WWAI SINGThe rides are great, they are perfect for the kids as they do not teeter into the scary genre for them. The live pirate show is really good. Even with them performing it over and over every 30 mins or so the staff seem to really put all their effort into it.The food is decently priced for what you get.
Eton College
轻轻轻的一个蚊The school, called the Public School, is actually a private secondary school. Henry VI named it after the original intention of providing free education for poor students, so that poor children can also attend the school as a preparatory school for King's College, Cambridge. But because of the great work, Eton School became the most famous aristocratic school in Britain, completely contrary to the purpose of King Henry VI. At Eton, you can often see tours organized by private schools in China, but you can only look outside like free-travelers. Eaton College is a training place for the British royal family, political and economic elites. There have been 20 British Prime Ministers such as former British Prime Minister David Cameron, as well as poet Shelley, economist John Cairns, and here is also Prince Charles, the heir to the British throne. Prince William and Prince Harry's alma mater.

St George's Chapel
真真诚7577The house on the south side of Windsor Castle is where military knights once stayed. A group of veterans, who were responsible for praying in the chapel, were initially called the "Knights of Alms" because of their embarrassment and income.
