The location of the hotel is very good at a golf course in the suburbs, very close to the highway but you have to drive. The only complaint is that the breakfast is really bad and everything else is pretty good

We arrived early & the nice gentleman on reception allowed us to park & check in early. Our room (number 2) was located on the ground floor next to the main road & was noisy all through the night. However, this was easily sorted the next day by the purchase of some ear plugs. The room was clean, well maintained & had a good sized en suite wet room. The carpark is small so it's on a first come, first served basis. There is a small parade of shops across the road which is very useful. A word to the wise on the location. It's true that it is close to the castle, but that walk is uphill so be prepared. There are, however, a fair few cafés, shops etc along the way. The lady who checked us out was very helpful & had a very pleasant demeanour. All in all a nice place in a lovely town.

What a lovely weekend we had in Warwick, staying at The Kings Head Inn. We felt very welcome, the rooms were spacious and very cosy with a powerful shower in the ensuite. Tea/coffee, water available in the room. Breakfast was superb and plentiful. Two bars available and outdoor seating- when the weather becomes a bit warmer. The menu is tapas or burgers mainly. We ate in the restaurant side Saturday evening and had burgers. We all ordered different ones (there was four of us) and we all said how delicious they were. Also a free car park. The host Mike was full of knowledge of the pub and surrounding buildings. Warwick town centre and the castle were only a few minutes walk. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend, with a comfortable room, with plenty of heating and hot water, free parking and delicious food then book into The Kings Head Inn in Warwick. You won’t be disappointed

Stayed here for 1 night - 30th December as a couple. The Old Coffee Tavern is very central and a short walk from the castle. It's a middle-sized pub, with an open kitchen in the back that looks a bit odd and a slightly cramped bar but is clean and not too rowdy. We took a twin room right at the top with a shower room. It was nice, with a view over the town, and was clean and tidy with nice decor and all the bits and pieces you'd expect. If I were to be picky, I'd say the mini bar was both a bit noisy and also a bit superfluous, perched on a table as it was. The beds were clean and comfy and there was adequate storage. Breakfast in the morning came with attentive service, plenty of tea and coffee, and lots of choices. It was pretty good. All in all, then, this was a very nice place to stay in the heart of Warwick.

Because of the bank holiday, the hotel's supplies could not be delivered in time, so the room could not provide slippers. The room was ok, as expected, and the breakfast was a standard English breakfast. There are no restaurants around, it is recommended to book dinner at the hotel.

Reception:
Liz at reception was fantastic and Helen at breakfast was informative made great suggestions on where to visit historical sites.
Room / facilities:
Room number 19 is on the ground floor and is clean. The room consists of 2 single beds, desk, chair, iron and board, stand shower (no tub) in the bath room, desk and chair.
Self control air conditioning with a window that opens about 5 cm.
The room does not have a fridge.
Although we had to change rooms due to plumbing issues, our second room was very functional and comfortable.
Parking:
This is available at an additional £3.50 per night cost, car registration must be provided at check in. Whilst there are plenty of parking spaces, a car is required to get to the hotel, resulting in the spaces filling quickly.
Wifi:
Complementary and good speed. No validation or password required.
Breakfast:
The buffet breakfast is from 6.30am to 9.30am and consists of cereals, yogurt, breads (to toast) jams and spreads, fresh fruits, pastries, eggs, bacon, baked beans, sausages & harsh browns, juices, tea /coffee. Staff are very attentive to remove plates and refill food items.
Nice touch having a staff member come around during breakfast offering sweet pastries.
Conclusion:
Centrally located “base”hotel for day trips to surrounding towns or Warwick town. Very nice staff, with a Mcdonalds outside your door step.
Letdowns:
No fridge, inconsistent room features.
Location / Nearby:
Warwick town is a 5 min drive. Other nearby towns are 10-20 mins drive away.

GGuest UserMy partner and I had been to Coventry the night before and stayed in a 4 star Ramada hotel which - surprisingly - is also owned by Wyndham. My partner had booked the room and mistakenly booked the Northbound hotel instead of the Southbound hotel. The person on the desk at the Southbound hotel was super helpful and could not have done enough for us. When we got to the Northbound hotel, the staff here were equally helpful. This was a last-minute booking so we didn't have to drive tired and we were pleasantly surprised by the quality of the room!

GGuest UserWhat a lovely weekend we had in Warwick, staying at The Kings Head Inn. We felt very welcome, the rooms were spacious and very cosy with a powerful shower in the ensuite. Tea/coffee, water available in the room. Breakfast was superb and plentiful. Two bars available and outdoor seating- when the weather becomes a bit warmer. The menu is tapas or burgers mainly. We ate in the restaurant side Saturday evening and had burgers. We all ordered different ones (there was four of us) and we all said how delicious they were. Also a free car park. The host Mike was full of knowledge of the pub and surrounding buildings. Warwick town centre and the castle were only a few minutes walk. If you’re looking for a relaxing weekend, with a comfortable room, with plenty of heating and hot water, free parking and delicious food then book into The Kings Head Inn in Warwick. You won’t be disappointed

Was surprised the bar evening menu is the same as the main restaurant - seems little point in not availing oneself of the restaurant since it is much nicer and costs nothing more! Many thanks to the bar staff (who sang happy birthday) and Rieann and Ionda in the restaurant for their friendly service.

GGuest UserWe arrived early & the nice gentleman on reception allowed us to park & check in early. Our room (number 2) was located on the ground floor next to the main road & was noisy all through the night. However, this was easily sorted the next day by the purchase of some ear plugs. The room was clean, well maintained & had a good sized en suite wet room. The carpark is small so it's on a first come, first served basis. There is a small parade of shops across the road which is very useful. A word to the wise on the location. It's true that it is close to the castle, but that walk is uphill so be prepared. There are, however, a fair few cafés, shops etc along the way. The lady who checked us out was very helpful & had a very pleasant demeanour. All in all a nice place in a lovely town.

GGuest UserBecause of the bank holiday, the hotel's supplies could not be delivered in time, so the room could not provide slippers. The room was ok, as expected, and the breakfast was a standard English breakfast. There are no restaurants around, it is recommended to book dinner at the hotel.

GGuest UserWhere do we begin! Perhaps were we had to call the POLICE because the lad on RECEPTION was threatening and abusive in language. We had asked to change our reservation the night before. The manager did this for us. Then all we got was abuse from the lad on reception who clearly hates his life there but no need to take that out on us! He accused us of being abusive on the phone the night before - interesting as we never even spoke to him. Apparently the worker (Jessica) had left a note on our booking complaining about us so he read that to us and said he didn’t like that we were rude to his colleagues! What! He said this would be the last time we stayed at days inn. My husband and I were dumfounded. We called the police reluctantly but he would not let us speak to his manager and we felt verbally abused and intimidated. Absolutely disgusted by our treatment in this days inn. I have traveled up and down the country staying at these hotels and I have never been treated like this by any company. The room was dirty and dusty. We only stayed as we had no where else to go and they would not give us a refund. Honestly for your safety and dignity to not stay here!

GGuest UserStayed for 1 night to ”get away from it all” and left exhausted we paid close to £200 for one night we placed in the coach house the room was nice when we first looked high ceilings and lovely window however after being in there a little while we noticed it was very dirty, there was a boiler in our room which must have supplied the block with hot water which noisily refilled throughout the night , my partner hardly slept at all, the spa facilities were also dirty and reminded me of a average public swimming baths, the decking was mouldy, there were so many missing tiles in the pool , the gym equipment was unsafe the bench press not being fixed to the ground , dinner was not a great experience , staff were very friendly but the starter that came out was completely different to what was described in the menus and actually inedible when we told the waitress she just ”oh sorry ” and took it away , We have emailed the hotel manager Herman to tell him how disappointed we were , but he hasnt responded
