Find the Cheap Teversham Hotels

This hotel was beautiful. Just off the A14 and down a long drive you arrive at this lovely setting with out buildings and an area for wedding parties. Plenty of parking all close to the entrance. On arrival we were greeted and given our room key. We were situated in an outbuilding (Room 404) next to the spa. It seemed this building only had 2 rooms, so we were happy with this. The room was upstairs and had windows in the ceiling to bring in good light. The room was spacious with a nice size bathroom and walk in shower. No complaints about the room at all. I was awoken at 2am but the other room occupants giggling when they came 3 / 4 through the main door. This will happen in any hotel, so this is not a complaint and my wife was not woken. It only lasted 15 seconds until they got in their room. We made good use of the spa facilities using both the Swimming Pool and Jacuzzi. They were empty when we were there, so it was nice, quiet, and great to relax. There are also Steam Rooms, Sauna, and a Gym to use. All looked quite quiet when we were there. There are sunbeds around the pool if you wish to relax and stare into the countryside. Although we didn’t have an evening meal at the hotel, we did have breakfast. Service was good and there was a wide variety of choices. Hot breakfast was cooked to order and service was with a smile. We paid nearly £200 for our visit but enjoyed our stay and it was worth the money.

The hotel was a little bit further than I expected from the town centre. There is a bus route that can go to the town but it's up to a 10 min walk. It would be great if the hotel provided at least a shuttle service because taxis were also quite expensive just for a few miles. The hotel itself was presentable, the staff was helpful and nice, and the rooms were also spacious enough and clean with all the usual amenities. My room had the disabled bathroom so it was a little bigger I think but the drainage needs sorting out because the whole floor almost flooded with water. The heating A/C was working well and quiet. Breakfast the next morning was included in the price and the choice was basic but enough. I did feel that the plate was smaller than many other places I've stayed at but I guess that was to avoid food waste. They had scambled egg only, sausages, bacon, beans, toast, tea/coffee/juice, 3 cereals and spreads for toast-not bad but could be a little better in variety.

My daughter and I stayed 1 night as we were going out in Cambridge…I wish we could have stayed longer! This was the cleanest guest house I have ever stayed in, not a speck of dust anywhere…you’d believe it had just been refurbished! Great host in Al who was there when we arrived, he’d already sent lots of info in advance on buses from the station etc but gave us helpful tips on transport for the evening. We didn’t use the kitchen or have time to partake of the cereal and yoghurts provided free unfortunately but little touches like slippers and water in the room were very nice. The bathroom was huge! There was traffic noise as we were at the front but the comfortable bed and pillows made sure we weren’t aware of it for long as we were fast asleep! Stayed with family for three of us to have surgery at addenbrookes which is a very short taxi ride away. Lovely staff, really helpful phoning taxis etc as we are not local. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, plenty of tea coffee toiletries etc. Breakfast was plentiful with lots of choice and hot. Would stay again for definite. Thank you 😊

Starting with their location, its quite far from Cambridge Station. From Cambridge Station to hotel: by walk is around 22 mins, by bus is 19-22 mins (£2.80 Adult). From Cambridge City Centre to hotel: by walk is around 27 mins, by bus is 15-19 mins (£1.50 Adult - Elizabeth Way Stop, £1.80 Adult - Newmarket Road stop) Their sevices are ok, friendly and respectful. But no smile, as in poker face. Cleanliness is on point. Absolutely clean and spotless. Very comfortable. As for amenities, they provide all-in-one wash which is bodywash + shampoo in one container fixed firmly on the wall. No bar soap.

No bed for third person made up, called receptionist I was told someone will come and do it, this was at 19:00 no one ever came, even after following up over the phone. I spent night sleeping without bedding, on plain sofa bed without a single pillow. Terrible experience and poor service. Not enough towels, just for one person & again after calling reception- I was told that they ran out of towels!!! This was enough for my family to bare after whole day of travel, especially the room booked was Executive one. So expected to be up to highest standard and service to be over the top, this isn’t the case. Cleanliness is very poor - see pictures. Dust everywhere and this wasn’t one day worth. After asking for partial refund due to poor service, I was given a silly look and smile, advised to sent email online. Do not bother going there.
