Find the Cheap Llanddoged and Maenan Hotels

We stayed at Caer Rhun as part of our annual family festive trip to Wales and couldn’t have been happier with our choice of hotels. The whole place has been sympathetically renovated with a nod to a modern finish which really works! We stayed in the Anderson Master Suite with 2 teens and the room was incredibly spacious. We loved how the beds had been positioned too to give each of the kids their own space. Plus you know you’re in a classy joint when there’s complimentary white company toiletries! The food at dinner was simply exceptional with friendly service. Storm Darragh struck whilst we were there with not 1 but 3 red weather warnings from the government for hurricane winds …but whilst Mother Nature tried her worst outside … the staff at Caerr Rhun did their best looking after everyone on the inside. And when the power went out we loved the fact there was a games room and piano for entertainment! We will be back and highly recommend Caerr Rhun.

Lovely place set out of town. We stayed here for one night 17th August and also had dinner at the restaurant. We took the opportunity to drive around during the day and returned for dinner and drinks. The room was large as was the bathroom, clean and good facilities. We had a great meal and the service was excellent. The breakfast the following morning was full English and we had no complaints.

Service and food are superb. The interior is nice and cosy. Just the right sort of thing for a cold and wet day in Wales. The beer is fresh and well kept . My husband and I had an absolutely fantastic time . I can’t say enough about the friendliness of the staff . They really went above and beyond to make us feel comfortable. Betws is a lovely little place, well worth a visit. I would’ve liked to give you a before and after picture of the delicious food, but it didn’t last that long. I was ravenous and it was delicious.

Warm friendly atmosphere and the food was brilliant. Five star dining at reasonable prices. An extra special thank you to the lovely young gentleman Matt who went above and beyond to make our visit extra special, he really was the cherry on top of an excellent visit would go again.

Stayed here recently. Firstly the good points:- tasty evening meal, friendly staff, very nice cooked breakfast, nice sauna very central location to visit the waterfalls and town, nice hot shower, free parking. Bad points :- walls are very thin so if like us you have very rowdy people next door until the early hours then it could be an issue, view from our room was a dumping ground, shower curtain was mouldy and the mattress was not really upto standard being one of those cheap ones where the springs don't really support you.room had a few cobwebs.
