The decor is refreshingly recent , not something you'd expect all the time at British airport hotels. It was the friendliest check-in experience in a long time. The room was impeccably clean and all the mod cons available . The only downer was the location, it is about 1.5 miles from the BHX airport and in order to get to the hotel you walk past a halting site on one side and a lorry staging post on the other. As soon as you go into the revolving door you are hit by a clean fresh sent. The hotel downstairs feels modern and clean. Check in was quick and easy and we got a free complementary cocktail each as it was our first time staying at Moxy. Our room was brilliant with motion lighting under the bed and switches at the bed side for other soft lights. The view of the lake and fountain was great. Perfect location to the NEC Birmingham and across the lake you have lots of eateries. We would stay here again if ever going to the NEC.
