"Good hotel but have bad experience. As I arrived at the hotel around 22:00 I booked a suite to have a quiet night but at around 4:00am I was woken up by a loud knocking on the door, I don't know how long he had been there, I was very disturbed to see through the peephole a drunken male in a grey blouse on the floor, he kept screaming and banging on the door next to a person in a pink skirt in front of my door , I was very scared and I called the front desk in a hurry and the front desk kicked him out. But I was mentally damaged, I was woken up at 4am by knocking on the door, I was in the hotel alone as a female and my personal mental state was seriously damaged, however the hotel did not give me any feedback either, this night was the worst night of my stay."
"This was definitely a mixed visit. On arrival we were checked in quite quickly receptionist was firmly enough although the reception desk itself seemed more like an information hub then a check in desk so the initial walk in was a bit confusing for me and my partner who don't stay in many hotels.. the one main thing that I noticed in the reception area is just through a set of double doors towards what would seem to be a fitness studio with an overlook of the pool had a chair with quite a nasty looking stain picture included. On arrival into the room things seemed clean tidy and presentable although there were a couple of things that could have been better for example one normal sized towel and 3 hand towels wasn't great and 2 towels would have been better, the toilet roll was very basic and clearly the cheaper stuff which you wouldn't so much expect when staying at a village hotel, there was a tile missing on the bathroom floor with a questionable amount of dust and dirt inside and around this hole and finally the doorframe seemed to be hanging off pictures of this are included. We had a look at the restraunt menu and it's safe to day if you don't fancy a burger, salad or chicken wings you will have to make other arrangements as we did by visiting the local residence 74 cafe about a mile away where we had a lovely time great food and a reasonable meal price. The bar is quite an open space and at first a bit confusing as there are some cinema chairs and big tvs but only playing the news. We had a drink I'm the evening this was probably priced for the venue but at £15 for a single vodka and lemonade and a double whisky we decided on only one when we found out that the bar closed for residents at 11pm which we found a bit early as other places stay open for residents. Room service would have been an option but from what I read this finished at 9.30pm and the is no in room phone to order such. Sleep was comfortable and sheets were clean it was just very hot as the window barely opens, there was no fan provided and no aircon. The TV also says its an Internet TV but upon attempt of connection no services were available. This morning the hotel seemed alot calmer and relaxed, we weren't sure of the breakfast procedures at all so we just sat down and were asked our room number but my partner got quite frustrated as she is autistic and no clear instructions were given it took us a while to source out breakfast and when we did we noticed it was very limited consisting of mushroom scrambled egg starnge potato circles beans tomatoes sausage and bacon. Honestly for me hash Brown's and black pudding are staples of English breakfast and should always be included when possible but unfortunately they were unavailable. I was going to ask a staff member but only one was seen briefly. There was also a High table next to us that was very dirty and when the staff member went to clean she simply sprayed it didn't wipe it and moved on, this didn't seem very hygienic. Breakfast was very average the addition of streaky bacon and chipolata sausages as opposed to tradition thick sausages and back bacon seemed very odd and definitely not our cup of tea! Coffee was not good atall however they do have a starbucks with is great because we do enjoy it. The night receptionist seemed to keeping a very close on me without speaking I found this quite lntimidating as a hotel guest and would have preferred him to ask me any concerns he had other than staring at me until I awkwardly said hello in which he just smiled and looked away briefly until I did then followed me with his eyes towards the stairs and no doubt watched me on camera until I entered my room. Overall a fair experience perfect I guess if you just need a quick room and have to extra money to burn but not ideal for us so probably wouldn't return."
"Lovely hotel and excellent value if you can book it at the right time. Very luxurious for the price I paid. A little bit out on a limb for access into Leeds city centre but plenty of bars and restaurants in nearby Headingley. The main restaurant at the hotel is quite upmarket but the attached pub The Stables is excellent value for money. Highly recommended."

"Can’t believe we’ve never used this place before! Far exceeded expectations and we’ll definitely be back. Loved it all. Makes far more sense than a regular hotel. We used it for a one night stopover but would love to have stayed longer."
"Not one of the better Premier Inns I’ve stayed at. Getting very dated and in need a a complete refurb. Situated a bit in the middle of nowhere, neither close to Leeds city centre nor the M1 and A1 . A comfortable and clean room but the choice a places to eat was limited to just the chain restaurant opposite. I booked at a very good price so can’t really complain as such. The usual rates are considerably higher and so not worthwhile"
"Very impressed with this hotel for price I paid - although I notice that I got a very good price compared to what it typically goes for. Comfortable bed, good size room, relatively modern interior. It is a 15 min drive from Leeds centre which may put some off, but overall I was really happy with my stay."
"Old-fashioned British experience. The hotel is beautiful, the hygiene is very clean, the details are very good, especially the bathroom, bright and clean. Although the hotel is not big, there are some. Send breakfast. The service is also very good. Basically, you have to ask them to be satisfied and have a good attitude. The location is a little away from the university, it is a little way to go, but the surrounding is very convenient, it is a residential area, relatively quiet. The overall feeling is still worth the money."

MMoeshouseDepending on exit, it could be a 5 to 10 minute walk from the station at a leisurely pace. Upon arriving check-in was simple easy and the staff were incredibly friendly. They were informative. Let me know if I wanted a breakfast option pricing and where the location of the breakfast would be to inform me of when certain exits would be open and what time until.
The room. I can’t lie I was pleasantly surprised, it’s been awhile since I stayed in a Novotel room. Not a huge egg, but I always find it weird when the toilet is separate from the bathroom but that’s no biggie. The bed was generous in size with a firm mattress and a soft topper. It felt like a two season duvet and the pillows were a little too soft for me but doubling up solve that problem. The shower/bath had an overhead shower function as well as a traditional showerhead, which made the end of my showering journey so much more pleasant.
Amenities include included huge TV, a decent desk and a comfy chair , a sofa that could could turn into a bed, but the one thing that I valued the most was a little mini fridge located underneath the tea and coffee area.
In the hotel, is the soap factory bar, a very comfy sofa centric bar and cocktail lounge great to get a good drink and a bit of pub style food.
Additionally, is a restaurant that will serve the morning breakfast and a believe lunch as well.
POI, through the bar towards the Whitehall Road exit is a couple of shops that are worth knowing, a Greggs, Tesco express and a Marks & Spencer’s food hall are all located across the road. To add, taking a lift out the exit and a two minute distance away is a Sainsbury’s local which has a handy cashpoint if needed.
I generally checked out thinking this might be my hotel of choice when coming back to Leeds.

GGuest UserGood location next to train station - due to ongoing building works at the train station it’s easiest/quicker to get to the hotel near the entrance/exit closest to platform 16 (I ply found this out after walking the long way round 🤦♀️).
Refurbished room was nice. Bath was small. Would opt for walk-in shower next time. Temperature too warm but staff provided a fan on request.
Double bed fine for a solo traveller. Wouldn’t have been too comfortable for two.
No radio in room or on TV which would have been nice.
Robes, slippers, tea/coffee making facilities, iron and hair fro provided.
Breakfast - good selection for hot and cold breakfast options. Would be nice to have better decaf coffee.
Newly renovated lobby area was nice. Perfume smell wafted into breakfast room and was a bit overpowering at times. That being said the ground floor entrance doesn’t smell good (you’ll get over it) so I can see why this is needed.
Newly renovated lobby/bar area is nice.
Staff were welcoming and helpful.
Overall I had a pleasant stay and I would stay here again as a solo traveller. If I was travelling with another adult we would require a larger bed to ensure a more comfortable rest/sleep so possibly an upgrade or a second room would be needed.

MMs.MeeraStaff was friendly at the check-in, quick and easy. I'm terrible with names but the lady I spoke to had curly dark hair, with glasses, she was really helpful and she kindly upgraded my room to an Excutive King. It was on the 10th floor. The room boast some excellent amenities, it was clean and well air conditioned. The best part about the room was the views, overlooking the city of Leeds. Overall, will definitely be staying here again, it is a 2/3minute walk from the train station, a few steps to Trinity shopping centre.

JJulieI was a little hesitant to book this hotel with it being on a service station- how wrong I was. Absolute gem of a place, hotel room was lovely, quiet and clean. Free parking and a 15 minute drive into Leeds. Next door in the service station there is Starbucks, Leon, pizza express, Nando’s, Greggs, M&S etc. will definitely stay again.
RRaktima RavaThe room was nice and I loved the food at their restaurant. The only issue was their flush, they said they did some new plumbing and since then the flush needed an extra push, which in general were difficult and if you have longer nails it's extra difficult.

HHermanhuiFor me, Leeds is one of the transit points, there are parking meters outside the hotel, very convenient. The room has sufficient heating. Since the weather outside is very cold and rainy, I got completely wet and wanted a hot drink to warm up. The hotel staff kindly provided me with a cup of a hot drink, which was very thoughtful. It’s a great hotel in Leeds.
GGuest UserBeauitful hotel, very clean. The room was big and clean. The facilities provided are everything you can ask for. Brilliant location very central to city centre. Excellent location to train station. Staff are very friendly, helpful, and polite. Breakfast was very tasty. Lots of selection from conitendal to hot food. Would highly recommend paying the extra to stay at The Queens.

GGuest UserIt was 4 degrees outside and the windows were left open.
The heating system was on max and I could barely feel it, there was also a plug in heater in the room so the hotel obviously know it’s cold in there, but even the portable heater didn’t give out much warmth
Room is dated but I expected that for the price, I just didn’t anticipate the lack of adequate heating
GGuest UserLocation is excellent. Hotel room is small but perfectly clean and comfortable. Hotel should be better about replying to emails in advance about parking inquiries

AAnonymous UserA fairly dated hotel but clean and relatively comfortable for the price. Although I got the room pretty cheap, the cost of parking in the city centre meant that overall it wasn’t a great bargain. A minor niggle is that if your room is on one of the higher floors, you have to get the lift, walk all around the hotel to get the second lift. Location is very good though for access to the centre of Leeds
