We arrive late night, the receptionist did our check in then help us to order food from town cause kitchen was already closed. We had some drinks at the bar and the barman was friendly, we had a really good chat about the history of the hotel.
Rooms are very comfortable, cozy and with a really.nice decoration. Our breakfast was so good, all the buffet fresh and the staff really helpful.
Definitely we will come back.

Breakfast and afternoon tea are good. Family of three can request a queen bed The front desk may arrange rooms with small beds. Stayed two nights because I just arrived and felt super nice. Cancelled the hotel in the city and added one night. I changed a room the next night. There were so many mirrors in the room. It was mainly in the morning that Baidu made this hotel so famous that it was one of the world's most famous Lingyi castles, which caused us to be afraid, but the children were very happy. It's a different kind of experience. In addition, the hotel has an owl eagle breeding park, which can be reserved for eagle feeding when you are over 16 years old.

A lovely premier inn, clean and tidy, really friendly staff and a perfect location for our weekend in Edinburgh! Also attached to a wonderful Greene King , the Cuddie Brae, which was much more affordable than pubs closer to the city centre despite being very close!

Overall, it was a good stay. The room has a large French window. The front desk staff has a check-in time of 10:30 pm. The hotel will send an email in advance to ask guests to confirm the check-in time. When they learned that I was later than 10:30, they sent an English email to inform me of the self-service check-in procedures and the route and bus line information from the airport, which was very helpful to me. This may be a communication barrier for guests with language difficulties.
There are several buses such as 31 at the entrance of the hotel to the city center. It is 12 bus stops from Prince Street, about half an hour. It is also convenient.

The hotel is very special, very classical, especially the four-poster bed, it feels very ”Louis XIV” taste. The furniture and decoration in the room are very nostalgic, and it is very similar to the medieval ancient city of Edinburgh.
