A lovely hotel with the most wonderful, professional staff. They show that hospitality is a profession not just a job and were all from the local area. The exceptional attitude apparently comes from the owner who looks after them above and beyond with career progression. The food was really good and the rooms are beautifully furnished. I would happily return and recommend to anyone wanting a great place to stay in the Hope valley.

This place is worth the 5/5. The accommodation was very sweet, clean and comfortable and the surroundings very beautiful. Our dog loved the river in the grounds with the direct access! The breakfast was surgery with a really good menu, my partner is vegan and asked for the cooked breakfast without meat or eggs and the chef offered vegan sausage and bacon, what a treat! The staff are really great and friendly. We arrived very late and we were greeted by a lovely young man who took us to our shepherds hut by torch and was so helpful even getting us a drink such amazing service. The breakfast team were lovely and attentive. We also had a light lunch before we set off and the waiter Karim was so polite and kind. We were really impressed by everything that the Plough Inn provided, if I could over mark it I would. We have been coming to Sheffield every weekend for 10 weeks now and this really was the best place that we have stayed so I felt that I really wanted to congratulate the whole team. Thank you and hope we can come again although I think you are always booked up!

The hotel is on the road, it is better to find, there is a parking factory, free parking. There are no other facilities around. No car can basically live. There are no stairs up and down the stairs, and luggage is taken. Low cost performance
