Find the Cheap East Lindsey Hotels

The staff were friendly and the actual hotel was quite elegant. The grounds were amazing, and there were plenty of lovely places for photos with colourful flowers. We ate dinner in the hotel and the presentation of the food and the quality was excellent. The steak was cooked to perfection. The mushroom risotto wasn't quite as good as it had some crunchy bits of rice in it. It needed about 10 minutes longer on a slow heat, and then it would have been perfect; as it wasn't that hot either. This hotel boasts that it has a spa, swimming pool, and lots of different spa room experiences. Normally, when you use the leisure facilities connected to the hotel that you're staying in, they provide towels free of charge. Not this one. We walked over with our swimwear and room key card to be told that towels were £1 each. We explained that we didn't bring a wallet, money, or a phone to pay with. We asked if they could charge it to our room. They couldn't!! They said that you can use the one in your hotel room or walk back to the hotel reception and they'd give us them. Not helpful at all. Then, we went in to find the two foot spa's didn't work, and when I said it to the leisure centre manager, his reply was ' I know as I reported them last week'. But not a sign on them to say that they weren't working! Overall, the hotel needed a bit of a spruce up; but they made up for it with friendly staff. We paid to play a 9 hole game of golf and the staff in the golf shop was amazing.

Party night. We paid about £50 per head. Soup no bread and very very spicy Ham hock the brioche style roll was dry and just crumbled Main was covered in black gloopy gravy the gravy wasn't hot which made everything cooler. The slow cooked piece of beef I received was solid we tried all meal to tell the team my meat was inedible but there was no staff around the male manager came over once the table had finished eating and ovely because the full table stood up and waved it still took him several mins to notice us! I was offered another slice after I had eaten around it which I refused so they gave me a drink. No one in the room ate the yorkshire puddings as they were just chewy and inedible. The roasted potatoes I can only assume they were part cooked and noone put them back in the oven as they were white and raw in the middle I have work in functioned for 10 plus years and I would have been embarrassed to serve that food. The dessert was fine I had the brownie which was unbalanced as everything was overly sweet. I can only assume the owner/manager hasn't tried the function food as if he had he would know it doesn't live up the reputation of the venue. The table next to us which I believe was a department from the company on a night out (I assume this as all the team working knew them) threw up ON the table directly behind my seat the room then smelt of sick for the rest if the night! I don't think I will be going to the party next year, I know the rest of my group will as they go every year and enjoy the dancing and the safety of a function room for dancing. Hopefully the manager reads this and addresses the food for the rest of the festive functions as the food was truly dreadful.
