We were a group of ex- Navy veterans returning to the historic dockyard and former naval trading establishment where we had previously served forty years earlier. We chose to stay at the Ship & Trades purely because of its excellent location and were not disappointed. The rooms are excellent, being quiet and well appointed, and the bar and restaurant are pleasantly situated by the picturesque marina. Parking is plentiful and free for residents. We were all delighted with the quality of our evening meals, which were not haut cuisine but beautifully cooked and presented, absolutely delicious and reasonable value. Drinks were similarly of excellent quality and reasonably priced. Breakfast was again an excellent mix of choices for both the healthy and enthusiastic foodies in our group. All staff were ”smiley”, helpful and keen to be of assistance.

This was a last minute booking and I was pleasantly surprised, I was able to charge my car…, for free, no parking charge either. The receptionist was welcoming and bar staff were friendly. Hotel room was perfect and beds super comfy!

Have been to this hotel many times over the years but had 2 visits this Yr 1 in January and now 2 nights to visit family receptionist was useless didn't explain just waffles on and on and the put money on card which wasn't approved by us this hotel is useless now and when got back yesterday found no toilet roll had to go to reception to ask waited over 10mins mum was desperate had 2 use public toilets not good enough. Cups at breakfast were dirty food was over cooked and bread for toast was nearly stale. This hotel is rubbish now won't be returning have cancelled a 4 night stay for birthday in mid march want a decent visit not a poxy 1 like this 1 and also knocking on door at 0930 asking to clean room even though we hadn't checked out had to tell her to go away they should wait not intrupt guests . DONT USE THIS HOLIDAY INN

We attended a wedding nearby and stayed at this hotel, which turned out to be an excellent choice. The room was clean and cozy, with a very comfortable bed and modern facilities. We appreciated the complimentary WiFi, which was fast and easy to connect to. The free parking was another big advantage, especially considering the location. The staff were courteous and helpful, making our stay stress-free from check-in to check-out. This is an excellent hotel, with good facilities, lovely central courtyard, plenty of free parking, and very friendly staff. With Chatham and the Dockyard nearby, the location is excellent.
Not certain which category to put this hotel in! It's not luxury but better than budget. The rooms are a little dated and the TVs need upgrading. The shower, again, a little dated.
We booked a room for three as our adult son has learning disabilities. He was delighted to find he had a separate bedroom with his own, small TV.
The rooms were clean, the hotel tidy, and a very good breakfast was included in the price. Overall, good value for money.

一家三口入住，非常舒服，樓下不遠處有個大超市，房間有餐具廚具，做了簡單的飯✌️ 冰箱洗衣機一應俱全。衞生間的香氛不太適合我（但這並不重要）一個備用手機落在了房間，所以沒有及時發現，過了十多天才想起來，試着問了房東，居然真在他那裡，並且也給我發過郵件，衹是我沒有看郵箱的習慣。失而復得的感覺真的好！如果再去羅切斯特一定還會入住這裏！
