Friendly staff and very helpful rooms are lovely and clean food is Devine lovely surroundings nothing is to much trouble for staff members the chef even cooked my son something different than what was on the menu thank you for making our stay comfortable and welcoming will be returning next year for the royal Edinburgh milletry tattoo

Good hotel, clean and comfortable, would stay again, only stayed for the one night

Excellent service from walking through the door Mark on reception was pleasant efficient and very helpful at check inn ,my room as ready a little early and was still allowed to check inn , room was good with no issues nice and clean bed very comfortable, all the staff are very pleasant and welcoming, food and service i cannot fault , for me the location is ideal being close to the M74 , a good overall hotel staff location and rice rolled into one , i will be staying here again well done guys . Was a great experience. We came from an horror hotel to this one and it was like finding paradise

The lighting in the whole building is very subtle. Nice and relaxing music and atmosphere. Only one hand and bath towel in the bathroom and, although there were more in the bottom of the bed, we were unaware of where to find these until we checked out. I was in the shower before I realised there wasn’t a second towel and it was too late to phone reception. Booking had 2 names for the room so we would have expected adequate towels in the bathroom or visible in the room rather than under the bed.

Stayed for two nights, enjoyed the stay. Friendly employees, clean and spacious room, and a decent bar for a pint. The free breakfast was beyond expectation. Location-wise it may seem slightly isolated, but can't complain as nearest superstore and train station are within walking distance. Also loved the view of nearby park.

Upon arrival the hotel is beautiful from the outside and the free parking is a bonus. When we went to check in we waited for ages and no one appeared, we had to press the ring door bell outside and eventually a lady arrived to check us in. We had called over a week ago and asked if we could check in early, when we told the lady this she said she hadn’t been made aware that we called but she did still let us check in early, I asked if the hotel had a lift and it felt like she took offence at me asking because the building is “SO old” okay I’m not a mind reader, it was a simple question and we have stayed in old buildings before that have lifts. Room was on the top floor, had to lug heavy suitcases up, the room was small but comfy, it was a hot day and was disappointed to find no fan in the room so we had to leave the window open all night and was woken by people outside talking. The bathroom was awful, you couldn’t swing a cat and the water pressure was the worst thing we have ever experienced in our lives, at one point the water stopped working all together, you also had to turn it on and leave it 10 mins to heat up. We also got woken up 2 days in a row by the loud slamming of the other doors from the rooms, the bed was comfy with nice bedding but the TV only has about 5 functioning channels. Check out is 10am which is bizarre, you have to pay £10 extra to stay until 12pm and of course there was no staff when we checked out. The best thing about this hotel is the location! It’s a stones throw from the train station and has a small highstreet with some nice shops! Even though it wasn’t a great experience, we would go back and maybe book a larger room on a lower floor because the location was excellent for what we paid, if they could get the staffing and water situation sorted out it would rate so much higher!

Stayed here for 1 night payed £75 so wasn't expecting much. But what a beautiful hotel and all the staff were first class I would stay here anytime and highly recommend it.I will definitely will stay here again. Great fir getting to livingstone outlet

Booked a double room and family room side by side. The staff were very kind and helpful allowing us to open the joining door for us. The teas and milks are at the reception area, they are topped up when needed. The beds and pillows are comfy. The showers are good, and there is enough towels for us. There is a lift available. The breakfast was good. For got food you let the staff know what you would like and for the cold like cereals or muffins they are placed out for you. The parking is outside the hotel however you do have to pay for it. You can pay through the ring go app or pay at the machine. Would recommend this hotel.
