I think it's a room like a Japanese business hotel, so I like it, but it was clean and I was satisfied. I was explained in English but I couldn't understand. It is a very rare experience to be able to stay overnight on the island. There is no elevator and you have to climb a narrow spiral staircase. The sheets and rooms were clean. This place is in a really good location and easy to find. Travel light though as there are no lifts and narrow staircases to carry your luggage. As most old places in Europe there is no air conditioning, so be prepared. You needed to step over the bath to shower so take that into consideration too. Our room was clean and had a small refrigerator, bonus in Europe. The restaurant has a good menu and drink selection. English is spoken, if required. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
