Top notch accomodations and service in a 16th century Manor house. Spent one night here in November before returning home overseas. This is an upscale resort that also caters to small private groups. Two issues to be aware of, due the authentic restoration of the Manor building. There is no elevator in this building, and the both the floor and stairs are uneven. The charming architecture meant in our 3rd floor room, angled timbers made accessing the bed from one side problematic. If you have mobility issues, request a room in a lower floor, or in one of the cottages. Second, we did not notice any HVAC vents- heating was through traditional radiators. Cooling may be an issue in hot weather- you might want to confirm how rooms are cooled if visiting in the summer. But overall, this hotel was wonderful.

We booked Les Jardins de Deauville because we wanted to stay close to friends who live in the area. We thought we would just park our bags, visit our friends and then head up to Deauville for dinner. (We've been to Deauville on previous trips - it's lovely and certainly worth a visit.) However. When we arrived at the property, we had a ”pinch me” moment - the grounds and landscape were stunning. We were personally greeted on arrival by the owner and his amazing staff. He gave us a quick tour and showed us the gorgeous swimming pool before we headed to meet our friends for lunch. We booked a triple room which was very spacious and stylish. On the way to lunch with our friends I asked my family if they really wanted to go up to Deauville for dinner. Our teen said ”Can we please just go back and chill at the hotel?” So we did. The pool is really terrific and I loved that the staff came around and offered orange wedges as a light refreshment. Service at the pool was amazing. Service everywhere in the hotel was amazing. They have considered pretty much every detail and how to balance excellent service without being too stilted. We had an incredible dinner that night but do book ahead on weekends - we had a late seating, which was fine but they do fill up. I had booked the hotel because it was close to our friends' house. I had no expectations - I just wanted a convenient place to stay for the night. It was such a happy surprise to find such an inviting, chic hotel. It's a great base if you do want to visit Deauville but it's also the perfect place to just go and chill for a weekend and think about nothing. Truly love this special place and am so glad we found it!

What a good welcome to this gentle lady who cooks, you receive and gives you the desire to stay longer to discover this wonderful place that is Normandy. I strongly recommend with the idea of come to spend a good time because it's the essential and to leave the mini details that we see on the opinions of certain who breaks you the magic of those who put in 4 for you. Switch good moments to 2 or more to share the location where a swimming pool is in project on this beautiful shadowed park. Nous avons passé 2 nuits dans cet hôtel et dîné 2 soirs au restaurant. La situation de l'hôtel est agréable, dans un endroit calme et en hauteur ce qui permet une belle vue sur l'estuaire de la seine. L'hôtel en lui même est un peu désuet et la chambre que nous occupions mériterait d'être rénovée. Cela dit, nous avons apprécié les prestations annexes (2 piscines dont une intérieure), salle de sport, salon. Le petit déjeuner propose un vaste choix pour tous les goûts. Le restaurant le soir propose un choix suffisant et les plats sont bons. Le jour du départ, on nous demande le paiement des repas du soir alors qu'ils avaient déjà été réglés à la fin de chaque repas. Au niveau suivi et gestion, peut être une amélioration est à prévoir. En résumé, une adresse correcte mais pas sans défauts. Un bonus, 2 bornes de recharge pour voiture électrique.

Positive : - the jacuzzi suite is large and comfortable for 2 adults and 2 children. - the discovered pool is pleasant - the park allows you to relax with children. (Attention however to dogs ...) - many parking places - near Deauville/Trouville (a few minutes by car) Negative: - the whole is old - the household of the rooms is summary (for my own a given refrigerator, sale et doté d'une odeur infectée ... oubliez en l'utilisation.), nombre de tâches douteuses dans la salle de bain, odeur d'urine dans les toilettes... - le service en restaurant est just supportable. Pas désagréable mais pas pro. - the little dej: you need to love the atmosphere flunch... service on the table, not dressed tables, no table sets, carton glasses ... everything is industrial... it doesn't worth 17 euros. The framework is sad and not welcome. The hotel does not choose them... but they accept the dogs, Their owners are responsible for obliged to keep them in leave and remind them to collect the dejections. But not on the edge of the pool ... sorry! If you have read everything you will be aware that there are serious shortcomings (and yet I have kept some surprises!) but the location and the quality/price ratio can compensate for the shortcomings... everyone see lunch at his door ... No more than two days for me !

This is a very basic budget hotel and the room is quite small. I stayed two nights in January so the price was exceptionally low. Room had a chair, small desk, full bed, two small pillows, a TV, hooks and rack for clothes and a tiny prefab bathroom, as is the case with out locations. The shower is very hard to maneuver in and only hand soap is provided in a container. Wifi worked fine. There's no AC. Heat was OK. Water was hot. Staff was friendly. It was about two miles from the beach and a little over a mile from the city center and train station so the location isn't great but it's safe. There are several gas stations and grocery stores nearby but dining options are limited. Clientele seemed OK and the grounds were clean. For the price or a comparable one, relative to the time of year, I'd definitely stay again.
