Wonderful hotel. Great location, friendly and helpful staff. Quiet, well appointed rooms with tranquil garden space.

I stayed here for 4 nights while here for work. I found the hotel to be quiet and comfortable with adequate air conditioning and good WiFi. Everything worked and was clean and maintained, although the rooms were clearly old and rather soulless. Breakfast was great in places (freshly squeezed orange juice, leaf tea!) and not so good in others (cooked breakfast was well below average), but if you are happy with continental style food then you will be happy. The staff I spoke to were all friendly and helpful too. Finally, the location is excellent, with so many places just a short walk away

The lady on reception was super helpful - a real credit! All staff were friendly and helpful the hotel itself is fine - clean and comfy but not brand new ( I think there were some renovations being done during our stay). A good sized free car park and E chargers (Tesla I think). Two things to note, I would not rely on SatNav to locate as entry from the ring road is tricky. Also the big modern shopping centre next door is shut overnight and Sunday with steel bollards that raise up -so worth checking the centre's opening times if you want to shop.

We had brunch and our experience was not memorable at all. The service was extremely poor! 1/ we booked a week in advance requesting to sit by the window. When we arrived, we were shown to a table in the center of the room. I asked for the table requested as I could see that there were a few tables by the window unoccupied, but was told that it’s all full!!! I insisted and had to wait for them to come back with a negative reply. All this time while waiting, the people who arrived after us were shown to the tables by the window. So, not wanting to be petty, we accepted the table. 2/ the waiter explained to us that brunch is from 12 noon to 16:00. So you would assume that you could stay until then. At 13:30 we were told very rudely that we had to leave as there will be a second service. All this, without an apology, or an advance notice that we need to vacate the table! Very very unprofessional. 3/the plate of my niece was literally taken away under her nose, as she was finishing her dessert! We were so shocked that we didn’t even have time to make any comments! There are more but I wouldn’t bore you. Suffice to say we were not impressed at all by this restaurant. Food was so so. It wasn’t even on the rooftop. Anyway even if you still want to go, there is no need to ask to be seated by the windows as there is nothing to see. I am shocked that such a well know brand of hotel/restaurant is providing such awful service. I would not recommend this restaurant

We can only echo the comments in the last review. We also stayed in an apartment, on 1st floor, overlooking the outdoor seating of the bar below; noise continued until after 1 am. Also, the stairs are rickety to the point of being dangerous. And unless guests are really small / thin they will struggle to use the shower, that’s so unbelievably close to the toilet. Whilst we absolutely wouldn’t book one of their apartments again, we might stay in the main hotel when we visit Rennes again.

Le Paris-Brest hotel offers a convenient and comfortable stay, especially for travelers arriving by train, as it is located just a short walk from the train station. The staff are exceptionally nice and go out of their way to ensure guests have a pleasant experience. The breakfast at Le Paris-Brest is a highlight, with a nice selection of fresh and tasty options to start your day off right. The overall ambiance of the hotel is welcoming and cozy, making it a great place to relax after a day of exploring. One area for improvement would be the bathrooms, which could benefit from a bit of renovation to enhance the overall comfort and experience. Despite this, the hotel provides good value for money and is a solid choice for anyone visiting the area.

Le Magic Hall dépayse au coeur de Rennes ! Logé dans un bâtiment superbement rénové qui a sa charge d'histoire, il est excellement situé, dans une zone calme en contrebas du quartier des Lices. On rejoint donc très vite le coeur vivant de Rennes à pied. L'accueil est chaleureux, le petit déjeuner copieux et convivial autour de la longue table commune. Les chambres sont spacieuses et confortables. Une adresse où revenir !
