Find the Cheap Notre-Dame-de-Sanilhac Hotels

They have an ideal location in the heart of the town, a short walk from the medieval core. There are 10-12 parking spaces in an courtyard parking area available at a nominal charge on a first come first serve basis. There is a friendly and helpful staff, decent breakfast and clean and somewhat updated rooms. Bravo for good lighting in the bathroom, a rarity in France, decent rainwater shower and comfortable bed. The closet, and area, such as it is and mini-mini deskette and a small strip of horizontal panel under the flat screen television are a lame attempt to use some very limited space. I don;t know what makes it a Prestige room, but I am glad we didn't have a Regular one which has to be even worse. It is an old hotel, drab on the outside and somewhat drab on the inside. But it is clean and trying to upgrade a bit. A decent sized elevator is a plus. Other than a total revamp, I suppose we and Perigueux will have to make do. We all deserve better and MErcure and Accor know how to do that.

We stayed here in early June 2020, the hotel had good Covid-19 procedures in place. The rooms are functional, basic but clean and comfortable. The staff are very welcoming and speak good English. There is plenty free parking nearby and it's location is near the river and a short walk from the city centre, where all the shops, bars and restaurants are. Perfect for a short stay.

On our return journey we had booked an overnight stay in the “Kyriad Hotel” in Boulazac – France. Nice hotel in a wooden structure. The rooms were very nice, everything ok as far as cleanliness is concerned, but there is carpet in the room, which has its drawbacks. The airco was not working. Pets are allowed in the hotel. We don't have pets, but could immediately smell when we were entering the room that dogs had already spent some nights in the room! Not a big problem for us personally, but not everyone is served by that! Yes, these are the new laws that animals must be allowed in the hotels and restaurants. We personally think that this is not possible, in the hotel room, it is already a limit, but in the restaurant we think it is not possible, this is only for hygiene reasons, but everyone has their own opinion. We also found the bath in the bathroom difficult and dangerous for getting in and out, a shower would be much better! As for the restaurant, we cannot give a result as there is no restoration available during the weekend, you have to take the car and drive to the nearby village (about 5 km) there is a “Buffalo Grill”, besides the points we have mentioned were we satisfied with this location. Very friendly staff.

Nous sommes allés dans cet hotel car il pratique le prix sport et nous allions a une competition de danse nationale !!! Une vrai catastrophe du matin au soir!!! 3 chambres réservées !! arrivons à midi ..PERSONNE heureusement une dame de service nous dit qu'il fat revenir à 14h ...A 14h après vérification par le responsable sur place seulement 2 chambre , heureusement que nous avions les E-mails de réservation sinon pas de chambre... Nous avons perdu 1 heure à midi , ensuite encore plus d'1 heure à 14h quelle galère pour obtenir nos chambres réservées depuis longtemps ... Nous rentrons le soir épuisées et une des chambres n'a pas été faite!! cigarettes, odeur pestilentielle de tabac froid , lit plein de croissant , serviettes sales, bref une chambre pas faite!!! Le responsable refait la chambre et elle est ” habitable ” vers 23 h... Nous dans une autre chambre nous sommes 2 , mais seulement une serviette de bain .... Ce sont des chambres minimalistes même pas une chaise pour poser ses affaires... Une bonne note toutefois , le petit déjeuner offert !!!

I was very happy with my room, the bed was comfortable and there was no noise from the street when the windows were closed. Above all, I was amazed and delighted with the freshness, range and quality of the beeakfast buffet. I truly cannot remember having stayed in a hotel in which the breakfast buffet was so good and generous (including fresh and dried fruit of different kinds, freshly made cakes each day, fresh croissants and pains au chocolat, cereals, yoghurt, different kinds of fresh bread and cheeses, coffee and other drinks, etc). The staff were friendly over the four days I was there. Overall, a very positive experience, they are to be commended !
