Loved the Chateau! Great staff. Yes, its a little shabby around the edges (but can you imagine the costs to upkeep this building!). It has a lovely charm, the views from the terrace are absolutely stunning. Our room was huge with a lovely balcony. We enjoyed sitting around the pool. The restaurant is great, but the only issue is that its a bit too expensive to eat there every night - so a cheaper alternative would have been good. We went into the local town to eat as well, which wasn't far. A lovely relaxing stay, in a beautiful hotel. Would definitely recommend.

J'avais séjourné dans cet hôtel il y a 3 ans avec mon mari, je suis revenue cette année avec ma soeur, j'ai donc cette fois-ci testé une chambre avec 2 petits lits séparés. J'ai retrouvé la gentillesse du responsable, la déco N10-American movies, LE CALME pour dormir. Les chambres sont grandes, les WC séparés de la SDB. Tout est carrelé (je déteste les chambres avec moquette, aïe hygiène et acariens), volets roulants pour dormir en totale obscurité, clim dans la chambre pour la régler comme on veut, petit déjeuner complet et brasserie en face de l'hôtel pour ne pas reprendre la voiture le soir pour dîner (je vous conseille néanmoins de réserver). Parking gratuit et sécurisé (code pour rentrer le soir). Parfait pour faire les châteaux de la Loire à un prix plus que raisonnable !

It is suitable for me. I don’t like the taste of the restaurant. To be honest at the hotel, don’t eat dinner here. This meal is the most unpalatable meal I have ever eaten in France. It is recommended to eat in the hotel and come to the hotel again. The breakfast is so selective, it is not comparable to the buffet type offered by the same level hotel in China. It is convenient to eat, the garden is quite big, and even two deer are encountered. In short, this hotel is worth staying!

The hotel is suitable for self-driving tours, and it is more difficult to reach without a car. The hotel is very clean, it is better to sleep and it is quiet at night. There is a huge Chinese buffet 500 meters near the hotel.

Stayed one night. Chosen for distance from ferry and cost. Stayed in this chain previously. Basic room. Comfortable bed. Good bathroom with decent shower. Wifi worked well. Great for an overnight stop. Restaurant very close (recommended by receptionist) was good - see separate review

Two rooms in August, we used it as a base to turn a few days between the castles of the Loire. It is a perfect base: it is not in Tours-city (it is several kilometres south, you have to reach it by car), but it is exactly on the highway that links the area of Chenonceau and Azay le Rideau to the west, Villandry and Chinon and east the area of Blois, Amboise, Chambord ... The area of the hotel itself is also interesting because there is virtually a Auchan hypermarket next to it and - like in any commercial periphery - find restaurants and shops. For example, we have eaten very well from Léon de Bruxelles just two steps, and also a great Burger King. It is a classic Ibis recently, with a structure that might remind the one of a US motel: long and low (only two floors), very large parking. A really large and well-organised room (although, as in all the Ibis of the recent generation, without a closet, for a stick attached to a stick), a great bathroom. Excellent breakfast for both the salt and the sweet part; coffee of course for machine, but acceptable. Cold staff, but not annoying. Price is not bad (88 euro per night, but having booked many months before)
