Let me talk about the good place first: the carpet is very comfortable and the color is very beautiful. With a bottle of mineral water, it is still basic humanity. The young lady who checked in gave us a very detailed introduction, and even considered the details of how we were going out to play and take the car. Poor place: the room is small, the restaurant and bar downstairs are also very small. Eating is not very convenient. We ordered takeaway. Breakfast options are very small

The hotel is very new, the service is very good, the restaurant tastes very good, the swimming pool is a big selling point 1.5 meters deep is very suitable for parents and children, the location is general, a bit far from the airport, it is convenient to drive or take a taxi, the bus to the airport is 30 minutes, there is no bus on weekends, and the surrounding area is still under development. No other facilities, a short stay is good

On arrival, the Receptionist was not on duty and so we were checked in by a part time ”Receptionist” from the Bar/Restaurant next door. She struggled with our reservation and with the system. Eventually we were assigned a room that was actually as far away from the Reception as was possible. It turned out that the room was also adjacent to the street. The room itself was very disappointing, being small and the decoration required some ”freshening”.We have stayed in many Ibis Hotels and in terms of facilities this must rank bottom of the list. The whole demeanour of the hotel was not enhanced by the horrendous roadworks being carried out on the main street outside the hotel. Not the fault of the hotel but it certainly did not help with our experience. We actually slept quite well thanks to the good Ibis bed and bedding. Breakfast however was a less than uplifting experience. Everything, with the exception of the scrambled egg, seemed very stale and not particularly fresh. This was our perception. After breakfast we were approached by the real Receptionist who was surprised that we were in residence as she had marked us down as a No Show. This was clearly due to the chaotic check in by the other person on the previous day. It would seem that the No Show status could not be reversed and so we paid only for the room and could not pay for breakfast due to system issues. Why this was the case is a mystery. I now believe that because we were a No Show I have forfeited my Rewards Points and would like such points to be credited to my account as soon as possible. We have cancelled our booking for the return trip as we believe that nothing will improve in the short term. A root and branch reorganisation is relatively this hotel

Yes this is a basic hotel which gives you what you need in a room but I would like to say how fantastic the staff were on our short visit. Every need was met and they went above and beyond. From opening up an adjoining room so we had enough room to iron a bridesmaid dress to tumble drying our wet swimming gear, holding a baby bath whilst we attended a wedding in cognac and holding our luggage whilst we had a day out in Bordeaux…all done with a smile. They absolutely made our trip travelling with a baby so much less stressful. Also going in the middle of august the rooms are so cool and comfortable. It’s around the corner from lovely places to eat and the tram stop is two minutes away for easy access to airport and Bordeaux. It’s no frills but would definitely stay again - thank you Kyriad!

After Ctrip paid the payment to the store, the unknown reason was cancelled. It may be that the agent did not communicate well. Fortunately, there was room at the time. Ctrip customer service contacted the result and paid for the payment. The episode was over. Breakfast is delicious and parking is free. The minibar is free. The room is big, just the room, the stairs.

Belle surprise, vu l'heure de décollage, nous avons dû réserver un hôtel et une belle découverte : chambre spacieuse et confortable bien sûr, emplacement super, tram devant la porte, un lieu calme et serein à retenir et à conseiller sans modération.

Elegimos este hotel por estar a 700 mes del aeropuerto ( se puede ir andando perfectamente), y porque enfrente de él está la penúltima / segunda parada de la línea A del tranvía desde / al el aeropuerto al centro histófico. Además su acceso en coche desde España-Hendaya es sencillo, sin semáforos. Hemos estado en dos ocasiones, una noche previa a un vuelo, y que nos permitió ir al maravilloso centro histórico de Burdeos, cenar y volver tarde y seguro con el tranvía. En ambas ocasiones reservé previamente el parking por los días que estaba fuera, por mi viaje en avión. El precio de 7 €/día en 2024 es muy atractivo. El hotel de 3*** tiene remodeladas las habitaciones recientemente, y están bien SALVO QUE NO TIENEN NEVERA, lo cual en 2024 es un aspecto muy negativo que me impide dar mayor valoracion. En pleno verano es muy necesario tener bebida fría como el agua. El personal amable y eficaz. Tanto ”in situ” como por email. En definitiva, una buena elección si uno vuela desde Burdeos y aprovecha para hacer una breve visita a esa maravillosa ciudad histórica.

The hotel itself is ok. The reception staff were helpful and friendly. The room was ok. Clean but scruffy and indeed of deep cleaning and upgrading. The beds were clean and comfortable. The curtains were scruffy with holes. The price was way too high for standard of accommodation. The dining experience was DREADFUL. The chef was continually scratching his scalp, beard, neck, face and nose all whilst cooking and serving out and others food. He did not wash his hands once. Food hygiene was non existent. When we talked to the “senior” waiter, who thought our issue was very amusing, nothing changed. Luckily this chef did not serve breakfast on the next morning. But we saw him arrive for work, still scratching himself. Unacceptable. I definitely would NOT recommend this hotel if you want to eat there.

We had booked this hotel for 7 days. There is a tramline into Bordeaux that goes from outside the hotel and takes about 30 minutes. We bought a 7 day ticket and used it every day so excellent value but the trams are very busy sometimes so we had to stand on some trips. If you're staying here and don't want to use the tram then you'll definitely need a car as it's basically on the side of the motorway. Staff were very friendly and helpful when we checked in. Rooms are big and clean. Nice and quiet. Loads of parking. Breakfast was okay. The pool is very small (not really big enough to swim in it) and not heated so we didn't use it. Overall a nice hotel, but probably more suited for business use or stop overs due to location.
