GGuest UserA particularly successful decoration in aesthetic, but also practical: perfect lighting for work on the desk, reading in bed –y including applications to the inventive design and adjustable in intensity to read without disturbing the other ; Multiple takes included in the top of the desk; really complete bathroom with systems for once easy to use and special mention for shower and shower heads. I' occupied a suite with views of the river: a harmonious and clear set, excellent litter, well-designed and sufficient boards, a machine to make coffee or tea at will. Some of the Despiau-Wlérick museum parts are in deposit in the municipal parts of the hotel and I've seen a beautiful plaque representing Diane and Acteon that decorates the future dining room of the gastronomic restaurant. 533 Claire

GGuest UserDe retour de mont marsan ce jour, nous avons passé une nuit horrible dans cet hôtel. 27°C dans la chambre, dans l'ascenseur une note expliquant qu'il fallait ouvrir la fenêtre pour rafraichir hormis que le rideau est positionné devant la fenêtre (normal) et donc qu'il faut dormir avec les spots de l'entrepôt de E.Leclerc allumé toute la nuit. Plein jour en pleine nuit le TOP!! Le lit de notre enfant, au dessus de nous, fait un bruit de tous les diables des qu'il bouge une oreille ce qui facilite une bonne nuit de repos. A 6h du matin, réveil par l'alarme incendie dans tout l'hôtel, nous quittons notre chambre ,la 110, pour descendre par les escaliers au RDC. Dans la cage d'escalier une odeur de brulé et là arrivé en bas la personnelle (faisant partie de la direction d'après elle) nous dit que c'est quelqu'un qui est sortie par une issue de secours qui a déclenché l'alarme. Pour ma part c'est plutôt la fournée de viennoiserie qui a cramé dans le four. Lors du départ je demande une compensation et là rien de rien. Merci de votre accueil il est sûr qu'on ira plus dans cette chaine d'hôtel.

Whilst it self describes as a 4 star hotel, and this is fair and accurate, this hotel has so much going for it. Wonderful location on the Atlantic coast at downtown surf city ( village really...) of Biscarosse about an hour west of Bordeaux. Ocean views from our little balcony, well appointed clean and spacious room and exceptional service made this a great week long stay. The restaurant was unusual but ok for dinner but very good for breakfast. The pool area was functional with a great view over the surf and the bar was great. The town around the hotel is small, very French and has many restaurants to choose from. It is a serious surf location - with good reason. The staff were amazing and made this a great stay!

Absolutely fabulous hotel, staff, accommodation, spa and most of all the restaurant food and service was amazing. The bed and bedding were fantastic. The restaurant food was delicious, we had three great evenings dining in the restaurant, the service, especially by Ash Ven was first rate, delicious wines and food that the chef should be extremely proud of.

J'ai vraiment pas l'habitude de rédiger des critiques sévères voire dures lors de mes voyages. Mais là : que dire...? Le visionnage des photos sur TripAdvisor laissait imaginer une belle fin de journée lors de notre étape de retour du Portugal vers Paris. Je me faisais un plaisir de piquer une petite tête dans la piscine après ces heures de route. L'emplacement au bout d'une impasse le long du lac est sympa et laissait présager un bon moment de quiétude, mais c'est tout. Cet établissement manque cruellement d'entretien et nécessite une refonte totale. J'ai même pas eu envie de me mettre sur un transat au bord de la petite piscine (d'ailleurs il n'y avait pas assez de transats...) Le joint de la porte d'entrée est décollé, l'impression globale fait plus penser à une vieille maison de retraite qu'un hôtel, même au niveau de l'odeur à l'entrée, l'ascenseur est vieillot, les couloirs sont imprégnés d'une odeur de tabac froid, les murs extérieurs sont sans commentaire (je préfère mettre des photos), des tâches suspectes sur les murs de toilettes et de la salle de bain, une chasse d'eau d'une autre époque, des toiles d'araignée dans les angles de la chambre... et je pourrais en rajouter... Je mets cependant 2/5 car le personnel était accueillant et le lit plutôt confortable. Franchement c'est dommage car vous pourriez lui redonner une nouvelle vie acceptable. Désolé pour ce commentaire, mais j'espère qu'il aura au moins le mérite de vous faire accélérer la recherche de financement en vue de travaux rapides et indispensables.

We stayed there a night with my husband and children because of a car failure that prevented us from going back at the end of our holidays. The owner has gently left us access to the pool and the common spaces after our departure ☺️ The rooms are just sufficient in terms of size, well equipped and especially very clean. The breakfast is widely at the price shown.

Superbe endroit. Très bon accueil et belle restauration, à ec un bon service. Localisation unique sur les berges du lac et proche du centre ville. Joli spa avec bassin à remous, sauna et hammam face au lac. Nous reviendrons pour un week end avec plaisir!
