Find the Cheap La Glacerie Hotels

21st century modern/retro design. Many chairs and tables in public areas have splayed legs which can be and were, a trip hazard. Stark, very basic, pared down room, very small shower room, no room at all to store wash or make up bags. Hanging rail immediately above kettle. Not enough shelving. Liquid soap dispenser in shower dangerously high. Towels very thin, no hand towels. OK for an overnight stay but no longer. Staff however were wonderful, went out of their way to be helpful and pleasant. Breakfast provision adequate but chaotic at busy times - layout could be improved. Evening dinner excellent and good value.

Première déception. Ne pouvant pas payer avec une carte de débit (n’ayant pas de carte de crédit), je n’ai pas pu faire la réservation par internet. Jusque là, pas grave, on me dit que je ne bénéficie pas de la remise internet, on prend ma réservation par téléphone et je pourrai payer avec ma carte de banque. Arrivé sur place, il faut passer par un guichet électronique…qui ne prend toujours pas la carte. J’ai donc dut trouver une autre solution pour payer. Chambre 100% non fumeur. Nous ouvrons la porte de la chambre et ça sentait la cigarette… Ma compagne a dû prendre des médicaments pour ne pas en être malade. Même la serviette de bain sentait la cigarette. Et une seule serviette pour deux personnes en plus. Sinon bon emplacement et chambre correcte niveau équipement et taille.

The family room with 4 people is a very beautiful discovery: spacious, functional, beautifully decorated. Children and parents loved it. The formula 1/2 pension allows you to enjoy an excellent breakfast. The welcome was very good, the location of the hotel is quiet and easy to find. On the other hand, the rooms need to be reviewed. Access to the bedrooms: there is a door which opens onto a sort of airlock where 2 other doors are located for access to 2 bedrooms. Unfortunately there is no light in this airlock. So if you are alone, you have to hold the first door (because it does not hold on its own) to have daylight and to be able to put the card to open the bedroom door. Then, for the bedroom, there is no There was only a bedside table and no electrical outlet nearby; either you had to plug in at the desk or at the sink. The lamps crackle when you turn them on. The sink is not with the shower, not very practical and the toilet flap does not hold so you had it on your back. In addition, there is no toilet paper dispenser, so between holding the flap and taking the paper, it requires a certain dexterity. And finally, the mattress hollow in the middle; it's okay that I was sleeping with a child. Breakfast a little limited and plus they have a bakery 5 minutes away and we had frozen bread!

I have been staying here for 10 years, twice a year for business reasons. the hotel is generally clean and comfortable. after staying in room 115 this time, i was disappointed to see the shower doors gone. on reporting this, i was told they had fallen off, and not replaced. this made showering very difficult. the view out of the windows is of somebody elses apartment opposite. it is generally quiet. a good nights rest was had. the beds were comfortable, and the kitchen served its purpose. the staff are generally friendly, and a special mention of marion on reception. always smiling. the price has risen over the years, and did reflect good value, but i fell that the price doesn't reflect the level the hotel is at now. there is better out there for the same money, but if it is convenience you need, this is the place. i will return next year. thank you. i have also copied it in french, and hope it translates as it should. Je séjourne ici depuis 10 ans, deux fois par an pour des raisons professionnelles. l'hôtel est généralement propre et confortable. après avoir séjourné dans la chambre 115 cette fois-ci, j'ai été déçu de voir les portes de la douche disparues. en signalant cela, on m'a dit qu'ils étaient tombés et n'avaient pas été remplacés. cela rendait la douche très difficile. la vue par les fenêtres est celle de l'appartement de quelqu'un d'autre en face. c'est généralement calme. une bonne nuit de repos a été passée. les lits étaient confortables et la cuisine remplissait sa fonction. le personnel est globalement sympathique, et une mention spéciale de marion à la réception. toujours souriant. le prix a augmenté au fil des ans et reflète un bon rapport qualité-prix, mais j'ai pensé que le prix ne reflète pas le niveau actuel de l'hôtel. il y a mieux pour le même prix, mais si vous avez besoin de commodité, c'est l'endroit qu'il vous faut. je reviendrai l'année prochaine. merci.
