What a lovely hotel. All the staff we met were friendly and helpful, nothing was too much trouble. The hotel itself is beautiful and well maintained. We had a large room with a balcony, sitting area, plenty of storage, separate W.C and a decent sized bathroom with bath/overhead shower. There is a decent sized swimming pool with jacuzzi and also a spa area with sauna and steam room. We didn't try any spa treatments. For meals there were 3 separate restaurants all of which served great food. We could never manage to eat 3 courses although they were included in the room. The bar area is lovely with plenty of seating and good service, a great place to relax after a hard day skiing.The hotel itself is located at the foot of the ski slopes almost adjacent to a fast modern chairlift and a telecabin lift. you are able to ski almost back to the hotel, only a small road to cross. My only negative comment, and it is very minor, is that the ski lockers are a little small. I would love to return to this hotel for another holiday. Thank you to all the staff for making our holiday very enjoyable.

Stay in numerous hotels regularly. Was forced to book this place as my train was delayed by two hours and missed my connection taxi to the Alps. Had to email hotel and phone numerous times to arrange for keys to be left to gain access. Eventually got some sense out of Booking. Com Was treated in a hostile manner throughout my stay, especially by one woman who chased me through the bar area whilst I had just come down for breakfast, demanding payment for my room even though I had furnished my credit card details with Booking. Com. This was in the the presence of other guests causing me immense embarrassment indeed. I was very upset about this all day and it spoilt my holiday. On reflection, I could only assume that it was because of my ethnic appearance despite being British. On checking out and despite my asking for help the same lady ignored my requests for assistance obtaining a Taxi as my command of the French language is limited. I was forced to carry all my luggage as a senior person 3 KM to the Cluse Railway Station. I do not recommend this place as all the staff were unwelcoming, unfriendly , rude and discourteous. The hotel is in a remote part of town with nowhere to go to eat worthy of note. Very disappointed and aggrieved about this.

Nous avons séjourné pour la deuxième fois avec nos grands enfants. Très bien situé dans Cluses. A 15min des premières pistes. Hôtel très très propre, avec tout le confort nécessaire, tenu par un couple adorable. PDJ très bien. Très bon rapport qualité/prix. A privilégier plutôt qu’un hôtel de chaîne impersonnel situé pas très loin… Nous allons y retourner très vite…

GGuest UserA beautiful discovery in Annecy. It's a recent hotel in a beautiful fully renovated building, very well decorated, beautifully furnished. We were in a very beautiful duplex air-conditioned and very comfortable. The kitchen is very well equipped. The parking is very easy before the residence. And the framework near the Pringy church is really charming and very quiet. A pleasure. We will certainly come back to it

The Good: - very friendly and approachable staffs. easy breezy check in/out - top central location near old town, close to cafes, restaurants, shops and the lake! - great deco at the lobby, modern and filled with fun activities - parking garage right next to it - room with balcony and riverside view, also come with kettle. Nice air-conditioned. - reasonably priced Less Good: - extremely old parking garage - filthy dirty, small tight spaces, can be pricey for long hours parking - room and upper floors are very dated, old furnishing, quite basic. Not the same as the standard modern Ibis style - small, old and not-smart tv (not big issue but again it makes the room sad) Overall good for short stay but can be better for sure to suit the modern Ibis image!

Good value for money , just off central hotel. The downside is normal rooms are small so suggest you opt for a family size room. Very small lift will only take one person with luggage!! . Good breakfast and friendly staff, both in reception and at breakfast.

Consider it on par withHoliday Inn Express, basic rooms that meet overnight stay requirements with good comfort level and larger rooms that comparable Holiday Inn. Breakfast is adequate and they have plenty of free parking spaces. Only 8 minutes drive from Annecy tourist area and we think if you have a car it’s a good option. There is plenty of parking in Annecy so it’s not a problem to park and walk the desired areas. Hotel staff are helpful when you engage them.

GGuest UserMonsieur Hugo L, je fais suite à votre réponse plus que lamentable sur notre commentaire, nous attendions votre réponse avec impatience et nous ne sommes pas déçu… Nous avons loué une chambre pour une nuit et nous avons mangé au restaurant le soir, nous avions vu les très bons avis sur Google et n’avons pas hésité. Arrivé à l’hôtel, l’accueil était moyen, on nous donne la clé et on nous indique même pas la direction pour trouver les chambres, en clair débrouillez vous…. Puis nous avons donc mangé le soir à l’auberge, quelle déception…. Le verre d’apéritif était rempli au 3/4 de glaçons, une honte … L’entrée très moyenne aussi, les st-Jacques étaient plutôt bonnes mais tout ce qui l’entourait était fade et sans saveurs…. Étonnant venant « d’un passionné de gastronomie » comme on peut le lire sur certains commentaires…. Le plat était très médiocre niveau goût et présentation, le filet de fera était trop cuit, bourré d’arêtes et fade, l’accompagnement était inexistant, nous sommes restés sur notre faim… encore une fois un passionné de gastronomie… Le dessert vous permettra de quitter la table en étant lever tellement il y a rien à manger, un goût inexistant et une texture plus que douteuse, la meilleure chose était un vulgaire biscuit sec… madame n’a même pas fini l’assiette… Pour finir nous avons pris une tisane à la camomille et à la verveine… je sais que l’eau est rare mais pour remplir une tasse complètement vu le prix, est ce du luxe..? Je vous joins la photo de cette fameuse tisane… une honte je n’ai jamais vu ça ailleurs ! Nous aurions dû prendre une photo de chaque plat mais nous avions un peu de respect pour l’équipe… Enfin, nous avons fait part de notre incompréhension au propriétaire de l’établissement sans mauvaise intention particulière bien au contraire, il nous a offert les apéritifs pour ensuite nous dire que c’était nous le problème et que c’était pas de notre goût… il faut assumer monsieur Hugo L. Nous partions pour ne pas spécialement mettre d’avis car l’équipe était très agréable dans l’ensemble en dehors du propriétaire. C’était sans compter sur ce même propriétaire qui a attendu qu’on règle pour se lâcher avec son comportement condescendant et pour nous rappeler que c’est nous le problème et pas lui. Monsieur Hugo L, vous êtes une honte pour tous les restaurateurs et pour votre équipe, vous n’êtes ni commerçant, ni bienveillant vis à vis de vos clients, vous n’acceptez pas la critique même constructive, pas professionnel et êtes à la rue complet par rapport à ce que devrait être un bon restaurateur. Rappelez vous que c’est les clients qui font votre CA…. Toute personne insatisfaite se fait limite agresser avec des propos pitoyable, très limite et pas professionnel du tout. N’hésitez pas à aller voir ailleurs ce que propose vos concurrents pour prendre exemple et vous améliorer… ou changer de métier, visiblement celui de restaurateur n’est pas fait pour vous. QQIMINGThe hotel restaurant can see the lake, the scenery is invincible, breakfast is available from 7:30-9:00, two hours of breakfast is enough to cover the hotel accommodation fee, after breakfast, go to the back of the hotel to stroll around, the lake is beautiful, the lake is surrounded by clouds and the water is clear. At the end, it can make up for the small insufficiency of the room.

Aalejandra paniagua barajasThe hotel is very clean and with good maintenance, there is a small kitchen inside the room, it is close to downtown, there is a bus going every 15 minutes and takes like 10 min to get to downtown.
In summer it gets hot and there is no AC but you can ask for a small fan in the reception, they offer buffet breakfast for 11 euros but i didn't take it.
The only thing to improve is that the ladies in the reception don't know that much about what to visit in annecy and how to move in the town, i think they should be able to inform better the visitors.

I stayed here for one night, in preparation for my flight out of the Geneva airport the next day. This hotel was a lot cheaper than ones actually in Geneva. It was a great price and worked well for me, I had no trouble. It was clean, fairly spacious, had nice hot water, the beds were comfy enough (and I'm picky), and was very quiet. The front desk person spoke English and was friendly. I took cabs to and from here (I arrived into town by train, left by plane), and the trips were about 30 euros each I think. Not cheap, but still way less expensive than booking a hotel in Geneva. All in all I would stay here again as a stopover place.

The hotel has some good aspects and some less good aspects. First of all the good: The place is pretty clean and if you are travelling through, it's a bed for the night. Breakfast is a reasonable 7.50. Not really a 'fabulous' contiental breakfast, but an OK breakfast with croissants, demi-baguettes, butter, jam, yogurts, orange juice, and of course tea and coffee. And you can have as much as you want, which is obviously a good point if you are hungry in the morning. Check-out time here is etiher 11:30 am or noon, which is great if you arrive late and need to catch up on your sleep in the morning. You can also arrive as early as 1:30 pm, which is also very good. In that case you have to use the self-check-in machine and pay by credit card for your room. So kudos to Kyriad for making better than average check-in / check-out times. The less good: I have come to undetstand that this is a feature of Kyriad hotels, but the rooms are just too small in my view. There is just barely enough room to walk around the bed. And yes I know it's a budget hotel, but look at something like Travelodge, the lowest price chain in the UK. At least there you normally get a reasonably sized room. Of course this is not the individual hotel's fault. The location is possibly good for someone coming in by car, but if you are on foot like I was, then it is about 25 mins by foot. On the way back I discovered a bit of a short cut by taking the small unofficial path next to the overpass (to the right), which will lead you quickly to the big roundabout and to the road which you can follow back into town eventually turning right onto rue du saleve. If you're a budget traveler and looking for an overnight stop, and also taking the above into consideration, then the Kyriad definitely has it's good points. If you're in town to actually visit Annemasse then you might be happier in one of the hotels nearer to the centre.
