Hotel is very modern, located in middle of industrial estate. Staff are very friendly and helpful but language difficulties exist if you dont speak French. Hotel is best suited to travellers with cars. If you don't have a car, accessing anywhere is difficult. There is very little in immediate vicinity and public transport involves a short walk for bus and a 30 minute walk for train. Both are fairly infrequent. Hotel staff were unable to provide guidance on this. Overall view is that hotel is probably ideal if you're driving and looking for somewhere to rest enroute. It's clean and breakfast is ok, albeit basic. But if you're looking for a base to visit Bordeaux, look for something closer to the city.

Booked this Chateau one night as a stopover on the driving to Biarritz. It turned out to be a great stay, the rooms are large and clean, large vineyard for an evening walk and exploring. We had a tour inside the wine producing line, which was an eye opening experience. Got ourselves couple bottle of wine as the tasting, the wine was in fact very pleasant, and not expensive (10EUR per bottle), I regretted that only took two bottles. Nice and generous breakfast, the only downside was no dinner served, but not a deal break. Would definitely go again if I ever pass by.

We were travelling from the UK to Portugal with our two dogs and this hotel was great for an overnight stop. We stayed here twice; once on the way and again on the way back. For the return journey, we were allocated a ground floor room overlooking the back of the hotel, which was just perfect for us. The hotel was very easy to find, had secure free parking and a small grass area for our dogs to exercise. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a drinks machine and vending machine in the reception area along with a microwave that you could use. The only downside was that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room; not a problem for us as we had brought our own kettle, mugs, tea bags and milk. We were very pleased we chose this hotel and will definitely stay again.

GGuyQuiet even in the middle of the pedestrian streets for both shops and restaurants, all in abundance and for all budgets but above all in the middle of historic places and very close to the long promenade along the Garonne with its Place de la Bourse and the old stone bridge of Bordeaux!
Breakfast buffet with great choices both hot and cold, breads and pastries, brioche and cakes, orange or lemon water, multiple fruit juices, and to top it off, cartridge coffees, coffee beans, teas…. and of course a tray of cannelés tradition of Bordeaux hospitality!!!

GGuest UserVery good spacious layout, and even came with a kitchenette, especially useful when staying on sun or public holiday where restaurants are not opened, like in my case. Great location and I can access tram B and A less than 100m away. I stayed for 5 nights, and the only issue I had was that the bed if on the loft, which has poor air circulation, so I kept waking up due to stuffiness and sometimes in sweat even though the main floor was a cool 18 degrees and outside is about 12 degrees. If they would install a fan in the loft that will help a lot. Otherwise, a great place to recommend!

杭杭The location is acceptable, in the central area of Bordeaux, 500 meters walk after getting off the airport bus, the gate entrance is on the side of the street, easy to find, arrive at more than 10 o'clock in the evening, there are many people at the entrance of the bar, and feel safe. The rooms are small, with good hygiene, comfortable bedding and average breakfast. The front desk was good, and the taxi was booked, a better experience.

We stopped here on our way to Spain from the UK. The hotel is brilliantly decorated: from the front desk to the rooms in Pop Art style. Our 10 year old loved it and so did our pug! Super friendly staff. 10 minute walk from Auchan, a large supermarket where you can get fresh produce and everything you need. But there is also a McDonald's, 2 minute walk, if you prefer... Breakfast is amazing, with fresh orange juice, a range of coffees, eggs, prosciutto, cheese, fruit, and, of course, fantastic bread, croissants and pain aux chocolate. We loved the complimentary fresh lemonade, when arriving from a long journey in the middle of the heatwave. In a word, brilliant! We will be back, for sure!

We thought this hotel was a good location for center and offered free parking. The Staff were extremely welcoming & helpful and even spoke English. We walked into the centre which took about 20 mins for a meal. We didn't have breakfast the following morning but it looked good. We just bought a coffee. I wouldn't hesitate recommended this hotel. As previous guests have said it's dated but for us it was quite secure and extremely clean. Bed was comfortable.

MMareeS250So I tend to book the hotels as my husband has picked awful places. I saw the pictures and thought great this looks good, pool for the son and food for us!. You drive past some beautiful chateaus and I thought great I’ve don’t it again!. We took a sharpe right, went down a bumpy road and then we passed a sewage works, I thought this isn’t good my heart dropped. We drove a little further and well the gates were less than perfect. We then pulled up to a tired looking building with a miss mash of other buildings. I was gutted. We entered the lobby after me being in a wheelchair as I’d recently been recovering with a broken ankle. Being wedged in as doors weren’t great and there was a lip. Receptionists were busy chatting about something more interesting than their new guests until another receptionist came along to show us to our room. Knowing I was in a wheelchair obviously she took us so far and said sorry the lift is out of service, can you walk up these stairs, I did with a struggle, my husband dragged the chair up. We walk a while and got to the room. The room was fine, bathroom fine and toilet separate which was good. There was a fridge, safe, trouser press and hairdryer. The bathroom had two robes, towels for two and two pairs of slippers. Unfortunately there was three of us. Fridge had two waters. There was a balcony overlooking the golf course which was nice but still for two. We went to the indoor swimming pool and was told it was 16 and over, my son is 12. Fortunately she let us in. The spa lady was lovely. The pool was fine, the steam room fine sauna was fine but a bit tired. We went looking for the restaurant and eventually found a staff member to show us. It was a bit of a walk from main reception but very close to our room. We the dribbled across disabled parking and an outdoor lift a stone throw from our room. Not once was we told this. We booked the restaurant, unfortunately they don’t really cater for fussy kids but we thought the food was lovely. Staff were really friendly too. If I was local I’d definitely visit the restaurant. The only small thing was there chairs were fraid underneath so looked scruffy. But food was lovely. So room 303 kettle no plug socket near, plug socket not working and lamp with not socket to plug it in. Bathroom the shower knob was broken and came off in hand. I’d say if you like golf it’s fine but I’d not return. It’s definitely not wheelchair friendly. It’s dated and not worth the money. The room was ok but mismatch and dated. The outside and some buildings were awful in appearance.

Here's the pro about apparteo (Good location next to the bassins a flot, really nice view during my stay which you could see a beautiful sunset 🌇 , bus station just in front of the hotel and not too far away the tram station cité du vin which is only 5 Stations away from Center of Bordeaux, you have also Les hangars not far away which is one of the most peaceful place to walk day or night, I mean Apparteo position is actually really good, everything looked clean except a few things but doesn't bother, it is a also a residence of students)
Now about the cons, if someone didn't help me, I couldn't have entered the building nor having access to do the check-in, in fact you need a pin code that I Never received which the card of your room is inside with other card which can be a little bit odd, anyway can have access to it, the office was close each time I try to check someone no matter the time, the smell in the bathroom was really unpleasant but I could manage to get over it from opening every window and little perfume, but it come back if I keep the door close of the bathroom
The table where I was eating was moving a lot, but honestly other than those few cons that can be managed, it was a really pleasant stay, I enjoyed a lot and could sleep really well, calm, peaceful, nice view
I highly recommend this place as the few cons can be solved easily, just wished to see someone at the reception and it would have been even better.
Voici les bons de l'établissement Apparteo, celui-ci est vraiment très bien situé proche des bassins à flots, la chambre qui m'a été attribué avait une excellente vue avec un couché de soleil vraiment magnifique et apaisant, il y a une station de bus juste devant l'hôtel et la station de tram cité du vin n'est pas loin, celle-ci est à seulement 5 Stations du centre de Bordeaux , pas très loin il y a aussi les hangars, belle promenade de jour comme de nuit, honnêtement Apparteo est très bien positionné, tout été assez propre malgré de légers défauts, Apparteo est aussi une résidence étudiante.
Maintenant pour la mauvaise parti, heureusement qu'une personne qui séjournent dans l'établissement m'a aider sinon je n'aurai pas eu l'accès à celui-ci ni eu la possibilité de récupérer ma réservation de chambre, surtout qu'il y a besoin d'un code pour ouvrir la boîte où se trouve enveloppe pour la carte de chambre, le problème ici c'est qu'il y a aussi les réservations d'autres personnes accessible, je pense qu'il faudrait sécurisé un peu plus l'accès à ses informations, du coup ni a mon arrivée ni a mon départ je n'ai pu croisé de réceptionniste, il y avait aussi une odeur assez désagréable dans la salle de bain / toilette, ouvrir les fenêtres et mettre un peu de parfum à pu atténuer l'odeur mais celle-ci revenez si je fermé la porte de la salle de bain, la table à manger été assez instable mais en dehors de cela , le séjour été vraiment agréable, belle endroit, assez calme, fan des bassins à flot, la vue incroyable, bref excellent de se côté là
Au final je recommande totalement Apparteo malgré les petits défauts qui peuvent être résolu assez rapidement avec de la volonté, vraiment dommage que je n'ai pu croisé personne a la réception.

Bbigouden2It is cheap like the hotel. A lot of trash all around the property, broken stolen cars on the parking lot. The room we got was spacious and relatively cleaned except for the walls that are very dirty, the kitchenette has what you need to cook but no sponge and dish liquid to do the dishes. Also there are a lot of workers from other countries staying here, hanging out outside. The breakfast is very decent
