Hotel is very modern, located in middle of industrial estate. Staff are very friendly and helpful but language difficulties exist if you dont speak French. Hotel is best suited to travellers with cars. If you don't have a car, accessing anywhere is difficult. There is very little in immediate vicinity and public transport involves a short walk for bus and a 30 minute walk for train. Both are fairly infrequent. Hotel staff were unable to provide guidance on this. Overall view is that hotel is probably ideal if you're driving and looking for somewhere to rest enroute. It's clean and breakfast is ok, albeit basic. But if you're looking for a base to visit Bordeaux, look for something closer to the city.

Booked this Chateau one night as a stopover on the driving to Biarritz. It turned out to be a great stay, the rooms are large and clean, large vineyard for an evening walk and exploring. We had a tour inside the wine producing line, which was an eye opening experience. Got ourselves couple bottle of wine as the tasting, the wine was in fact very pleasant, and not expensive (10EUR per bottle), I regretted that only took two bottles. Nice and generous breakfast, the only downside was no dinner served, but not a deal break. Would definitely go again if I ever pass by.

We were travelling from the UK to Portugal with our two dogs and this hotel was great for an overnight stop. We stayed here twice; once on the way and again on the way back. For the return journey, we were allocated a ground floor room overlooking the back of the hotel, which was just perfect for us. The hotel was very easy to find, had secure free parking and a small grass area for our dogs to exercise. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the bathroom had a great shower. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. There was a drinks machine and vending machine in the reception area along with a microwave that you could use. The only downside was that there were no tea and coffee making facilities in the room; not a problem for us as we had brought our own kettle, mugs, tea bags and milk. We were very pleased we chose this hotel and will definitely stay again.

Normally i book rooms in the 100-150E range. I decided to go a bit more luxurious and i tremendously enjoyed it. Im an easy going traveler, i was i Bordeaux to assess architecture and urbanism projects. I rented a bike to go around the city.
The hotel staff is very naturel an friendly, no rush to empty your wallet but rather making sure you have a great time...
Best hotel experience i had i a lon time travelling the globe. Wholeheartedly recommended!!

FFrances MBooked this hotel for a one night stay after the end of a cruise. Cruise was great, but after two weeks with a small bathroom and shower, we were excited to get into the hotel. Pros: It’s clean, with very nice bedding and towels. Pleasant and responsive front desk staff. We disembarked from our ship at 9am and I was able to get in early for an additional 20 euros which was great. This allowed us to get settled, and not have to leave our luggage with concierge. Cons: It’s in a weird area, not close to anything except a few restaurants. There is a note in the room that says that you can call for a robe and slippers, but it does not state that there is a fee. I feel this should be complimentary. Also, there is a lovely restaurant with a view up top. But it was closed for a private event. So there were no options to get food in a Monday evening. No room service. So basically went to bed hungry as I was leaving early in the am for airport and don’t want to walk far or take transportation. No coffee or snacks available in morning either. I left at 6am.

GGuyQuiet even in the middle of the pedestrian streets for both shops and restaurants, all in abundance and for all budgets but above all in the middle of historic places and very close to the long promenade along the Garonne with its Place de la Bourse and the old stone bridge of Bordeaux!
Breakfast buffet with great choices both hot and cold, breads and pastries, brioche and cakes, orange or lemon water, multiple fruit juices, and to top it off, cartridge coffees, coffee beans, teas…. and of course a tray of cannelés tradition of Bordeaux hospitality!!!

I had 2 extreme experiences...the first and of course first impressions are the most lasting... we arrived to check in and I had to look around for someone to talk to and a young man came out of a small office and looked at me like I had 2 heads and said nothing... I asked if we could check in ( this was 1:15 pm or so) and all he said was ”can't check in until 2 pm” and that was it never smiled,never ask any other questions... in other words probably the worst attitude of any hotel I have been in. The check out which of course was rather simple but there was a young women and young man with big smiles asking if they could help and check us out...complete opposite of the the check-in. thank you !

Room condition was even beyond my expection and good enough to stay alone with a nice and huge window view from my window or I'm the lucky one to stay in a beautiful corner room. Thanks for having this good memory for my first time to visit in Bordeaux.

We stopped here on our way to Spain from the UK. The hotel is brilliantly decorated: from the front desk to the rooms in Pop Art style. Our 10 year old loved it and so did our pug! Super friendly staff. 10 minute walk from Auchan, a large supermarket where you can get fresh produce and everything you need. But there is also a McDonald's, 2 minute walk, if you prefer... Breakfast is amazing, with fresh orange juice, a range of coffees, eggs, prosciutto, cheese, fruit, and, of course, fantastic bread, croissants and pain aux chocolate. We loved the complimentary fresh lemonade, when arriving from a long journey in the middle of the heatwave. In a word, brilliant! We will be back, for sure!

RRUIMINGThe location is very good. There is a small lake next to the hotel, IKEA, supermarkets, shopping districts, restaurants, and the facilities are very good. The room size is good and the supporting facilities are complete. The service standard of the chain hotel and the standard of the buffet breakfast are relatively guaranteed. There are plenty of parking spaces in the parking lot, and guests can park for free. It is a 10-minute drive from the center of Bordeaux, which is worth recommending.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very dated with old furniture nearly falling apart. However the room is big, the bed is comfortable and the shower is powerful. The location is really good within walking distance to the center. Most important for us to book this hotel is its gated secured car park.
