Stayed one night. Conveniently located and reasonably quiet. The room was located on the second floor, but after getting off the elevator one had to walk down seven steps on a narrow winding staircase - very inconvenient with luggage. The room was very small but clean and nicely decorated. No electric kettle. Comfortable bed and pillows. Small desk area with enough power outlets. Bathroom with very small shower cabin. Good water pressure but absolutely zero shelf space in the shower - had to put toiletries, comb, etc on the floor. The shower floor was also quite slippery. Decent wifi. Breakfast with reasonable selection.

We stayed here a week during the second half of a holiday in Corsica. Ajaccio is a good base for visiting parts of Corse-du-Sud. The location isn't in the nicest part of town and there is quite a long walk to get to the lively part where the better restaurants and nicer sea views are to be found. The best aspects of this hotel are the room, which was huge with spare beds and plenty of storage. Toiletries are as basic as can be [plastics policy], and we had to scout around for coat hangers. The bed was very good. Parking is free and convenient and there are always spaces in the car park. This is a chain, and as such you get a chain style buffet breakfast. The same wide choice of mediocre items every day with no variation. Coffee from a machine which was below par - if you want decent coffee you have to pay at the bar (we did) which felt like bad value. Having to use a tray for breakfast creates a slight prison-like atmosphere. Staff are always on hand and friendly enough. Some a little more clued in than others it's fair to say. Overall a good choice and reasonable value.

Spent two nights here on a Leger tour. The hotel is near the port in a busy, not particularly nice area. Being a solo traveller, I had a small single room. The room was very dated and tired looking and was next to the lift, so not much sleep. There was no fridge which was really needed in the heat for cold drinks the 'fridge' was an empty cupboard! The swimming pool was in the block next door and not very clean with a terrible amount of scum on the pool tiles, but there was plenty of seating around it. The breakfast was OK but the evening meal was not great. Drinks were a bit expensive and hit and miss with what you ordered to what you got. Staff were reasonably friendly. The location is a short bus ride to the old town which is very interesting and has a lovely beach. Would not be my choice as a holiday hotel, but OK for a night or two.

Worn furniture and poorly equipped kitchen. Bad garage that is cramped and only made for very small cars. The road outside the hotel is very busy and it is a risk for life to walk along the road. Bad internet. Positives are the pool area and the view. But if you can, book something else set to stay at.

Right in the centre of Ajaccio - incredibly convenient. Very friendly staff. Able to leave our luggage before check in - we arrived quite early off the ferry. Breakfast had a good selection. Room had a really nice view over the sea - I think we paid extra for this and would recommend.

Excellent
We had a lovely one week stay at this hotel. It's rare that a hotel fully meets expectations, and on this occasion it did. We did opt for a superior room, and in my opinion it was worth it. Breakfast was good, pleny of choice. The bar was handy for returning late. There are plenty of restaurants nearby and you don't really need to go into Ajaccio centre to eat. If you head towards Ajaccio there are some good (but pricey) places. If you head in the other direction (towards the Iles) then there are a few more places that are not so expensive but they are offset from the coastal road. In the hotel the shower worked well, always giving hot water. The air con was good, sometimes we had to turn it off as it got a bit too much but very effective. Staff were friendly and the place had a really relaxing feel to it. We hired a car, and to be honest unless you want the stress of driving through Ajaccio and go out far, you don't really need one. There is parking at the rear and some street, although the street is exposed. The hotel is more like a 4-star, and we had nothing to complain about. Corsica is not cheap so I was glad to have chosed this as it turned out to be a really good choice. Oh and the ice cream was really good at the hotel bar.

FFussy_PeopleWe stayed here a week during the second half of a holiday in Corsica. Ajaccio is a good base for visiting parts of Corse-du-Sud. The location isn't in the nicest part of town and there is quite a long walk to get to the lively part where the better restaurants and nicer sea views are to be found. The best aspects of this hotel are the room, which was huge with spare beds and plenty of storage. Toiletries are as basic as can be [plastics policy], and we had to scout around for coat hangers. The bed was very good. Parking is free and convenient and there are always spaces in the car park. This is a chain, and as such you get a chain style buffet breakfast. The same wide choice of mediocre items every day with no variation. Coffee from a machine which was below par - if you want decent coffee you have to pay at the bar (we did) which felt like bad value. Having to use a tray for breakfast creates a slight prison-like atmosphere. Staff are always on hand and friendly enough. Some a little more clued in than others it's fair to say. Overall a good choice and reasonable value.

GGuest UserI only stayed for 2 nights, but overall I enjoyed my time there. The walls are very thin, so you might need some ear plugs, but the hosts have been amazing and very helpful with advice, making sure that checking in with a late arrival was possible as well as just overall being very friendly and welcoming. The room is nice and the bathroom clean. It's not a fancy hotel, but the location is very good, I would go there again another time.

Musée National de la Maison Bonaparte
XXJ晶晶On a narrow and inconspicuous street on Corsica, the sign on the door is not big and it is easy to miss. If it weren't for people taking pictures in line, they wouldn't pay too much attention. In fact, it is worth seeing. It is a detailed introduction to Napoleon's great life, and there are many real things.
Fesch Museum
易易茜韵楹The Fash Museum is home to many of the works of famous artists, however the first floor has been closed, most famous for the children of Benini's Virgin and Angel. Also seen is the Bonaparte house where Napoleon grew up, with extensive religious themes in the third-floor gallery, and an elevator upstairs.
Imperial Chapel
UUdjaatThe Chapelle Impériale Ajaccio Imperial Chapel is the ancestral hall and cemetery of the Bonaparte family. The architecture is solemn and the interior is somewhat gloomy. The chapel is next to the Fisch Museum, and the legendary treasures of Italian art giants are accompanied by the fallen Bonaparte family cemetery, which is a little comforting. Tickets for adults 1.5 Europe, half price for students. 5 minutes walk from the train station.
