Phenomenal place to stay and particularly good value. The sunset rooms were lovely and more than adequate, especially being away from the noise of the bar.. The food, though cafeteria serving style, changed enough each time that after 5 days only breakfast got repetitive.
Staff were amazing throughout and so long as you don't need great WiFi you can completely relax.
Make sure you take some good books or a few movies loaded onto your devices though, there's only so much snorkeling and diving I could fill my day with.
The whole island is this hotel, there are no other residential or commercial spots. It is recommended that the friends who come to bring enough supplies, otherwise the supplies after going to the island can only be patronized by expensive canteens.
The environment is very good, most of the rooms are facing the beach, there are a lot of coral reefs 10 meters away from the beach, there are sea cucumbers and starfish, the water level was not high enough at that time. The water is clear and blue-green.
The facilities are just so-so, after all, it's not a five-star, and it's about the same level as domestic chain hotels.
The sanitation is good, the whole island is very clean and there is no dust, so the rooms are also clean. The only problem is that there are a lot of mosquitoes. Remember to close the doors and windows no matter day or night. It is best to buy simple mosquito nets from Taobao.
The service is also very good and the staff are very enthusiastic. Due to the off-season, there may be more vacancies. The front desk also upgraded our rooms for free and arranged the best sea orientation.
I have to say that there is something fussy, but the island’s prices are too high, the water from the tap is salty, the boiled water tastes poor, (mineral water from the shop is 10 Fijian dollars, about 2.5 liters), and the island charges are too expensive for the hotel. There is no free shuttle.
Transportation: From vuda Marina, the hotel provides free pick-up and drop-off. Going to other places needs to communicate with the island owner. The boss is super enthusiastic. Going to cloud9 also found his friends to send us. Although the boat to cloud9 is not good, it is very exciting (500fjd a boat)
Hygiene: Health is still very clean, Sapporo is around the island after snorkeling, you will bring a lot of sand to the bed.
Environment: The environment is great, the beach on the front of the hotel is very garbage, but the beach on the other side of the island is very good. Focus! Focus! Focus! Snorkeling around the island can see turtles, and luckily you can see ”friendly” sharks!
Service: Service top! After the explosion of Shangri-La brand hotel (brand hotel is a lot of people, the service staff is not very enthusiastic, even ordering is not positive, water is not given). The service staff on the island will even remember your name to say hello. When there are many people, there are kava welcome parties and bonfire parties. It makes people feel that all aspects are served very thoughtfully. After returning to the main island, the hotel will arrange for you to rent. We emphasized that we have to play the watch (the driver who does not play the watch is slaughtered indiscriminately), the taxi from vuda Marina to Shangri-La hotel is less than 80 dollars, but from Shangri-La to the airport is slaughtered indiscriminately by brand hotel 120 dollars.
Advantages: warm service, super enthusiasm, few people in the island, can play alone on the beach, the island is very quiet, the water around the island is also very good, there are many fish and turtles
Disadvantages: There are many free activities (boating, paddleboarding) that need to be consulted by yourself. There are no bright corals nearby. The brunch is relatively simple. Wi-Fi is not good.

The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the city center and the airport, and the fare is about 20 Fijian dollars. The hotel has a total of about 20 guest rooms. The rooms are large and the facilities are relatively complete. Each room has a whirlpool bathtub. The buffet breakfast is basically a fixed meal, with little change, and the basic elements are all there. The people of Fiji are simple and honest, and the attitude of the service staff is very enthusiastic. The entire hotel area is not very large, there are beaches, swimming pools, and hammocks in the forest. If you want to go rafting, diving, or helicopter, you can make an appointment at the front desk.
Staff super genuinely kind, friendly and interested in our stay being the best. Delicious food at the restaurant at reasonable prices, fantastic service. Main pool big and well appointed with seating and shade. Kayaks available. Superb sunsets each night on the landing. Very historic location. Check out at 10 am was too early.
Heaven is, Musket cove. We stayed in musket cove last year and fell in love with the resort. So much so, we decided to make it our annual june holiday. Once again we were so welcomed by the most amazing, friendly and calming staff. Our Bure was a beautiful retreat, that felt quiet, peaceful and authentic. The island is our absolute favourite… the sand paths, immaculate gardens and activity/ entertainment options provided us with a dream holiday. My husband surfed almost daily, while I would go for hikes, run the island trials and explore. Found secluded beaches and lookouts that are more breathtaking than imaginable…. Ziggy and Josie always provided us with refreshment afternoon drinks (without prompting our preference) at the island bar yacht club. Ruth always hooked us up with the best tours, snorkelling trips and activities. Suli, was the biggest vibe. We loved his presence and enthusiasm. We loved our trip (again) so much, we re-booked for august and December/ January. Paradise does exist…
Our visit to Likuliku Lagoon Resort exceeded our expectations which is a pleasant surprise always. From the moment we arrived until we left, there was never a problem to any request we had. This included setting our room up with late notice that 2 single women were travelling together which helped to make our trip even more memorable.
5 star prices, 3 star quality. Our bure was lovely, but not 5 star. The overall appearance was worn. The mosquito Net was cheap and had numerous holes. The garbage can in the bathroom was dented and rusty, the canvas roof was filthy…all not a big deal but when they are charging $720 FJ per night, it should be pristine. We had booked the Fiji Orchid for two nights to celebrate my 65th birthday, which was to be the second night. This was a highlight of our trip to Fiji. We planned on having my birthday dinner at the Orchid, after eating there our first night, we changed our plan. I ordered the consume ($26) it was a small serving with a few veggies in it, tasteless and bland. I ordered the creamy curried prawns as my main ($40) the prawns (several small prawns or large shrimp) were over cooked and tough. And they were not in a curry sauce, rather a sweet seafood like sauce. The exact sauce was served as a condiment at the Boatshed where we ended up for my birthday dinner.(and had an excellent meal) The worst part of the evening was the service. I realize that our server was “in training”, she was lovely, but over anxious. She hovered, walked by, constantly checking on our progress and ready to whisk away items finished with. Mid meal I put down my fork to take a sip of my drink, she was immediately there asking if I was done. It was not a relaxing meal, I left the meal feeling stressed and unhappy with the food and service. I told my husband, I will not go back for my birthday dinner!
Chinese family guests, I think 2 to 4 days on the island is not right, it is worth the accommodation experience. The accommodation on the island has its own characteristics, the house is very special, and the sea view is within easy reach. Very shallow beach. Fijian cultural activities with children on the island can participate, hair braiding is 120 RMB and 40 Fijian dollars. Children's buffet is 55 Fijian dollars and 165 RMB. Catering is a problem when taking the elderly, the food is too westernized, and there is no choice. If the elderly have taboos and high blood sugar, please consider carefully. There are 3 restaurants on the island, but often only one is open. The average head consumption is between 240 and 330 RMB per meal. For island expenses, make sure you have cash or multiple credit cards.
We are so grateful to everyone at Tadrai for giving us such a special and idyllic holiday. We were lucky to spend 5 nights here and enjoyed every minute. We feel sorry for anyone who had a less than 5 star experience. Our experience was better than 5 stars. The bures are huge and have everything you could need. If you fall asleep with the doors wide open you get to wake up to the most spectacular sunrise and stunning view. You don’t need a sandy beach right at the resort because you can be taken to your own private one every day if you like. Or walk around the corner to a stunning sandy beach if you really need it. Not only that, but the reef out the front of the resort gave me my favourite ever snorkelling experience- the wonderful Freddie took me out as my guide for about 1.5 hours of pure bliss. Speaking of, as many others have mentioned, the staff make this resort so truly special. They work so hard and yet always have energy left over to make you feel so welcome and looked after. I hope the owners know how lucky they are to have such brilliant all-rounders on their team and give them the credit they are due. As a vegetarian, Charles, Sam and Moses went out of their way to make sure I had something I wanted to eat. The food they made was not only delicious but wholesome and healthy. Unlike other all inclusive places, we didn’t leave feeling sick from overly, unnecessarily rich food. We were so well looked after by the fabulous F&B team - thank you Asa, Kasi, Vika, Vani and all the others we didn’t get to meet. The day trips are so luxurious and personalised. A special thank you to Kasi for being our literal hero, and the wonderful Rocky, Api, Masi, Freddie, Tiko and anyone else we missed for the best activities we have ever had on holidays. Thank you to darling Lavenia for the warmest and sweetest welcome and for resolving any minor issues immediately. Thank you to Nancy and Nash for all they did behind the scenes. Thank you to the gorgeous Lela who went above and beyond to look after us and make our room so special. Thank you to awesome Frisco and polymath Sam for serenading us and bringing so much joy. Thank you to dear Carlos for taking such good care of us. And thank you to the countless others including Johnny, Lassaro, Magi, Izzy, (sorry if I got any names wrong!) and all the ones behind the scenes working so so hard so that we could switch off and have the time of our lives. Vinaka vaka-levu, you are all totoka sara xxx
