Search Varkaus Hotels

Wouldn’t be my choice of a hotel, if it wouldn’t be the only hotel in Varkaus. The room was very worn out, smelled very very stale, there were stains in the curtains ans arm chair. Room was good size, but that’s about the good things about it. The pillows were so high, so I couldn’t use them for sleeping, had to use towel instead. Reception staff was okay, but could have been nicer and more welcoming. The best thing and big surprice of the hotel was very good breakfast buffet, with lot of selection in warm and cold dishes. It was better than in many quality hotels that I have been, so allthough the room was not what I would expect from a hotel, the breakfast was much more what I expected.

The cabin itself is a bit dark - but otherwise has everything you need for a week's cozy holiday. Great location and very peaceful surroundings. The cleaning could be a little more thorough but no disaster. Helpful host. Recommendation: mosquito nets for

The location is perfect: you are undisturbed, but still central for shopping. The lake and the surrounding area invite you to go for a walk. The landlords are very nice and helpful! Any time!
