SSuomijp2Super recommend!!!! Cozy, clean, modern, beautiful and convenient place. I truly say, here is best place to stay. Most amazing parts of here is the staff. You can feel “I am welcomed” No staff desk face-face but they always send messages to me on WhatsApp (even if I didn’t send any message)so I felt that I always was been supported me. I often asked some questions but they always replied quickly. So I never felt any worry, uncomfortable and anxious. This place made my days wonderful one. Here gave the free-gym-key to me then I used the gym located very close from there free every single day during staying. Locker room is available till 23:00 on the check out day so you don’t need to worry about your luggage after check out. And the key is electrical number so you don’t need worry about losing your key My staying Turku were busy days but as I returned my room, then soon I could relax because this place. Big appreciate BOB W. Turku🫶 Kiitos paljon 🌟🇫🇮 I’ll come back here 🤞

GGuest UserThe hotel has beautiful, art deco style interiors and the lobby area has nice seating areas instead of just one large open hall. The room is spacious and the beds are super comfortable. The info about possible pillows could be more easily found. Delicious and varied breakfast with good options for special diets. The one big negative about a twin room is a transparent sliding glass door - especially a twin room that is possibly shared with friends should not have a door that offers zero privacy; there are large gaps and if the lights are on (especially at night when the room is dark and the bathroom has light on) you can see, hear and smell everything that happens in the bathroom. Note to reception; ask guests if they are comfortable with that level of intimacy before assigning a room, apparently there are rooms with traditional door - only learned that when we were leaving.

Excellent
Two nights stop over in Turku. Börs is legendary hotel and renovated nicely. We had a upper floor room and there was hardly any noice from the street. Market square is right next to the hotel and local bus stops are near. Great location to visit must see places in Turku like the church and Turku castle. Breakfast is amazing. The other side was closed due to private event so the breakfast hall was quite crowded, but it was worth it. You get to go a long way before you need any snacks after breakfast. They also have a roof top terrace bar, nice view over the city center. If you come by car, there is a spacious parking hall under market square with access to hotel. Strongly recommend this hotel while in Turku!

HHANThe beauty at the front desk saw me with a child and helped me upgrade the river view room for free. The stay was very pleasant and the breakfast was great. The hotel service is very good, the room is also good, always recommend.

GGuest UserThe Park Hotel is very conveniently located at the central Turku, has buses passing and the main Railway Station right next to it. The place is in a beautiful historical building, and the rooms are cozy with personality and fun flare to the interior decoration, not the cold and sterile feeling that most modern locations have. The staff was very friendly and accommodating, and had seen a good effort in offering a delicious and comprehensive breakfast. It was a delight to spend a night at the Park Hotel!

Very Good
After staying at Hanaholmen near Helsinki- a similarly priced hotel with a thousand times more charm, a free sauna, and air conditioning- this place was a let down in most ways, but there are a few good things. Service was very nice and helpful. (E.g. they let me put leftovers from dinner in their fridge overnight to take the next day). Its location is good. Parking is €14 per day, which is not bad to make sure your car is safe. That said, there are only about 10 spots adjacent to the hotel. The first day we got a spot but the second we did not. I was told I could not park in the open area in front of the hotel but later saw all the cars had “Centro Hotel Parking” papers so I don’t understand why I couldn’t park there. There is another garage you can park in for the same price. Room was clean. Doors use old school keys rather than a key card. I only received one key for two guests. No big deal but it may affect you. The window only opens a little bit which is disappointing. There was a ceiling fan but at medium and high speeds ours squeaked terribly. With the curtain closed to block the endless summer light, little air could get in the room. Before bed I propped the door open to get a draft. The room stayed very warm at night as a result. Oh, and there was no box of tissues in the room! Strange. Bathroom is tiny but shower pressure is good. Walls are thin- I could hear the guest (probably a man) in the next room peeing in his toilet. Towels are fluffy and soft. Pillows are a little flat and mine was smaller than a standard American one! I asked for a second pillow for the second night and the one I got was actually bigger. Strange. Breakfast was good and filling. There were American-like cereals in addition to oatmeal, yoghurt, meats, cheeses, fruits, breads, jams, a few veggies, and a couple of small pastries. In short, the value for this place is questionable if it’s warm outside.

Very Good
Child friendly with a playroom by the reception/breakfast room, and kids telly on there in the morning. We were on the first floor, which was the same as the sauna and gym which was good. The sauna was peaceful, and the gym well equipped. The breakfast was pretty basic, but fine, and not to crowded. Staff friendly and helpful. Very good location.

GGuest UserThe room started flooding after a storm. Almost 1/4 of the room was covered in water. Coming from the ceiling of the roof. Had to change rooms at almost 3am. Manager’s answer: it’s an old building being renovated, it was a big storm. So much for a “luxury hotel”. I got refunded but was an awful experience. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Omenahotelli at Humalistonkatu Turku. Based on ad, looked fairly modern and reasonably prised, about 100 euros per night. There is no reception, you get in with door code. Taxi almost didn’t find the place, but finally we got there. First thing we noticed, was a full beer can on the hallway floor. Some hotels do offer welcome drink, but I doubt this was the case here. When we got inside the room, first impression was like grandma had died, and relatives had tasked alcoholic 70-years old simple minded uncle to decorate it as cheaply as possible. Rom was fairly spacious, but for some weird reason they had built a some kind of wall in front of beds, so there really wasn’t much space to squeeze yourself into bed (luckily we’re not big, large person might not make it). Next to bed, on the floor, there were some papers and empty medicine box. I laughed aloud when I Saw the pillow – size of a stamp and lumpy as hell. There was supposed to be some kind of “kitchen corner” – it was a simple cabinet straight from seventies, with minibar (empty) and microwave oven. Next to it there was a table (from same time period) and chair (advertised as sofabed) that you couldn’t really sit on, but that you could theoretically use as a “sofachair”. I didn’t dare to try, and there wasn’t bedlinen anyway. Next to it, on the floor, there was a large stain – I wouldn’t dare to guess what. Whole room smelled unpleasant. Unfortunately, you couldn’t open windows. Bathroom was ok. Toilet paper was under the sink, bit difficult to reach, and there wasn’t any kind of shelf in the shower to hold soap. Peephole on a door had been stuffed with something orange. Luckily there was a door chain. It looked like that electrical wiring had been done by electrician who was fairly drunk. Room was filthy, dust everywhere and some sticky patches on floor and on the door etc. Bed wasn’t a catastrophe (except the pillow) – cheapest you can find at Ikea I guess. My son was bit worried, if we would dare to stay there, but since it was 2 am we really didn’t have a choice. I woke up around 7AM, heard someone talking at the next room. There is no soundproofing, you can hear clearly what neighbours are talking.

GGuest UserThe hotel is very well located, close to the center. Service okay. The bathroom unfortunately was terrible. The shower door was damaged, barely ”walking”, there was a hole in the sealing of the shower tray, which made it very wet after two baths. The rest is a plus, room ok, equipment as well.
