This hotel is very good. It's right by the sea. It only takes about 20 minutes by car from Picasso's hometown of Malaga. The bus ticket is 1,4 €, and the train is 2,55 €. It is only a little over 6 kilometers from Malaga Airport and it costs around 20 €. Breakfast is very rich and churros!

Stayed with my husband for 5 nights for my birthday, hotel nice bit like a premier inn, room was basic but fine could of done with a fridge to keep drinks cool, pool area was abit strange with no beds allowed around the pool, had an area to the side and abit of a terrace to sunbathe which we used a few times, you have to be quick if you need a bed as there is not many for the size of the hotel, food was OK although you struggle to find a table that is clean the staff don't rush to relay the tables we had to do it ourselves on 2 occasions, the hotel is in the perfect location right in the town centre, lots of restaurants and little bars, the walk to the beach is about 15 mins down 174 steps yes I counted them 😀 beach is lovely although quite shingle water, I would recommend but wouldn't go myself again to the area

I appreciated the welcome and the installation, the food is excellent in the restaurant and the morning brunch is perfect for the quality of the food and variety for all tastes with excellent coffee, pure orange juice and champagne !
The room is very good with installation and accessories for cooking and refrigerator.
We loved the outings purchased at the hotel to visit with a guide, they were really well organized!
It's great to be near the beach to enjoy the sea and sun in Costa Del Sol ☀️🇪🇸

Just got back from the most amazing holiday as a family of 9 in 3 rooms the hotel staff can not do enough for you and the entertainment staff go above and beyond our 10 year old twins have not stopped.. It's central to everything and the water park and selwo marina is a must.we only got back today and are already looking at booking next year. Never have we been so sad to leave somewhere 7days is not enough thank you for memory's that will last a life time.

5 day short stay in March , as others have said I bit underwhelmed at the entrance but once inside very clean and all staff friendly and welcoming. Go out the gate by the pool area and you’re straight on the promenade, and a supermarket on the doorstep too. The rooftop pool/bar area as great views too. The food was great too and plenty choice in the area if you want to eat out. We’d not been to this area before and really liked the chilled old town vibe… maybe different in high season. We couldn’t fault anything for what we paid , only 4 not 5 because noise carried but still found it relaxing at this time of year plus the weather was great. Just ask for a kettle instead of packing one , delivered to your room. If you hire a car parking is a problem in the locality, the hotel one is a few street away and payable.

Generally a very good hotel. We had an issue with the room on arrival. The room was an extra with sea view. It had side windows that had pull down blinds that were broke. A maintenance man told us that it was a manufacturers issue and couldn't be fixed. We were moved the following day to another extra sea view room. Thanks to Debora on reception who sorted it. The major problem with the sea view rooms despite the extra cost is the excess noise from the Irish bar just below on the street. It is horrendous and goes on all day and most of the night. It only subsided briefly during our stay when a fight broke out and on of the protagonists nearly went under the wheels of a car. It has to be said that this bar is not part of the hotel and outside their control but if they are charging extra for these rooms perhaps they should warn guests. Enough moaning this a good hotel and part of a good complex. We shall certainly check out the Don Pedro part once this has been upgraded.

From the moment I arrived to the moment I left, the experience was extremely pleasant. Your warm welcome at reception, the efficient check-in procedure and the friendly assistance I received. The room itself was beautifully maintained and spotlessly clean. The comfortable bed and quiet environment provided a perfect night's sleep, During my stay I was struck by how attentive and helpful the staff were. Whether it was providing recommendations for local restaurants or arranging transportation, you were always available with a smile and a positive attitude. In short, my stay at Hotel Perla del Sur was a fantastic experience and I would like to thank you all for your excellent service and hospitality. You have exceeded my expectations in every way and I look forward to staying with you again in the future.

GGuest UserHaving never stayed at a 2 star hotel before, and nearly always going 5 star, I was expecting much worse, however this hotel was actually pretty good. The rooms may have been basic, but them, along with the rest of the hotel is very clean. Also, the staff are good, and very accommodating. The beds are not the comfiest and the Wifi is very bad however for the price and location, I think the hotel is probably a good option for many people, particularly those searching for a kosher hotel.

El personal de recepción, un hombre de 36 años, era extremadamente grosero. Nos asignaron la habitación N. 3 en un sobre con el nombre equivocado, cuando inicialmente nos habían asignado la N. 5 y luego la N. 1. Nos proporcionaron los códigos de entrada muy tarde y solo después de que llamamos por teléfono. Incluso nos sugirieron usar el baño de la recepción debido a los problemas en nuestro baño, que estaba roto y lleno de excrementos debido a una cisterna defectuosa. Al momento del check-out, el mismo empleado de recepción, el hombre de 36 años, nos dijo que no quería lidiar con nada, ya que estaba cansado porque no había dormido y fue directo al trabajo después de una noche de fiesta y no quería preocup**** por nosotros. Prometió procesar un reembolso, pero nunca lo hicieron. Además, después de comunicarnos con Booking, descubrimos que no tenían constancia de ningún reembolso comunicado por parte del alojamiento. GGuest UserGreat lil hostel! We booked last minute as our plans suddenly changed, it was very cheap and accommodating. Our room was cleaned with fresh towels every two days. We stayed for about 2 weeks overall and were very thankful of the air conditioning in the room! We briefly met the manager who always seemed pleasant and the cleaning staff were all very polite too. I really enjoyed reading my book on the rooftop seating area they have. Not the Ritz but great if you’re travelling on a budget. (A little fridge to store food somewhere would be a great addition though🙂)
