This hotel is very good. It's right by the sea. It only takes about 20 minutes by car from Picasso's hometown of Malaga. The bus ticket is 1,4 €, and the train is 2,55 €. It is only a little over 6 kilometers from Malaga Airport and it costs around 20 €. Breakfast is very rich and churros!
We stayed for 4 nights at Hotel tent I found the hotel basic but it did the job.The rooms are very basic the walls could do with a bit of paint and the bathroom has been partially updated. We spent the end of most nights playing pool(The table with the crease in the cloth) They only had one lager on draft(san Miguel)if you asked for a large beer it was served in a glass which was never a pint more like two thirds a pint but got charged full price,on one day they even ran out of draft lager. The pool area was much better than what the reviews say,I have seen much smaller pools and there was about 30 sun beds in the pool area and I was told about 40 on the terrace but I did not go up there. The all day brunch was very good and a fantastic idea if you have a large hotel with a limited dining hall, one thing to improve would be to not throw the fried eggs on top of each other as it did not look very appertizing. All in all the hotel was much cheaper than most around but I do not know why they have the Tent theme as to me this cheapens the overall effect.

Good first…room was cleaned well, beds and pillows very comfortable, Hotel in general clean and modern public areas Coffee cafe was great, with excellent coffees. Drink quality was very good for all inclusive Staff, mostly very good and friendly. Service sometimes a bit slow but was mostly done with a smile .the staff work very hard and seem very understaffed. Not so good… breakfast was probably about the best meal of the day, toasters not good, slow refilling food, but edible food most days. Food quality could’ve been better, cheap cuts of meat, same fish most days. One choice of vegetables so if you didn’t like sprouts there wasn’t another veg.We are not fussy eaters at all but if it wasn’t for the salad bar,we would’ve struggled.very little in the way of traditionalSpanish food…yes there was ‘paella’ but I use the term loosely.pasta dishes very basic and tasteless. I felt sorry for any vegetarians that may have stayed here, their offerings were dire. We ate in town half a dozen times at least, our choice of course. Pool…I love to relax in the sun but the pool gets very little of it because of the position of the buildings, not much the hotel could do about that.we had a look at roof terrace, uninspiring, with trash spread on floor near self serve bar.artificial grass which was not in good repair. I don’t like giving a bad review ,just a truthful one.people might say “why not tell staff when things aren’t good?” Well after witnessing a male reception member give a young lady the third degree for asking for more pillows,I thought it would be a pointless exercise.he was rude and awkward as he could be over something so easily sorted. I don’t usually do such long reviews and I always try to mention the positives as I did firstly. Would I stay here again….No.
I appreciated the welcome and the installation, the food is excellent in the restaurant and the morning brunch is perfect for the quality of the food and variety for all tastes with excellent coffee, pure orange juice and champagne !
The room is very good with installation and accessories for cooking and refrigerator.
We loved the outings purchased at the hotel to visit with a guide, they were really well organized!
It's great to be near the beach to enjoy the sea and sun in Costa Del Sol ☀️🇪🇸
Very nice trip! Manon and Alain
Super family owned small hotel that met all our hopes for our week's stay. Spotlessly clean, nice and quiet, pretty courtyard garden, room perfectly acceptable and ticked our expectations for a 3*. Location, for us, was superb - 5-10 min walk to the beach, sufficiently far away to be quite. Train station is walkable, but all uphill going, but there are bus stops for both directions right outside the hotel. Special mention for Mercedes on reception who was an enthusiastic source of really helpful information, and to Nicolla (night shift) who reassured us about our pick-up, but all staff were really pleasant and welcoming. Wholly recommend.
We had the amazing 4 nights at this amazing hotel!! From the moment we walked through the doors we were treated like royalty!! Every single staff member that we came across were so polite, welcoming and helpful!! Our rooms were spotless and beautiful! The breakfast selection was fantastic too. The views of the sea were a real treat too!! The location of the hotel is fantastic for all amenities!! We will definitely be back again!!

Visited the Isabel four times in the past. I appreciate there are some improvements on going but to rate this hotel as a four star currently is misleading to anyone wishing to book. It rates as a mediocre 3 star. Position is good, pool area fine but the customer service provided from some staff is poor.Having requested a twin room my daughter and I were provided with a double bed and an old bed settee with two pull out beds. These beds must be no wider than 3 feet in width and the settees must be many years old. Ido appreciate there are some improvements taking place but to advertise this hotel as a four star is false advertising. Isabel, get your act together and make your improvements to allow all your customers to benefit. Some staff also need to wake up to customer service. A simple smile and hola go a long way. Turn those frowns upside down
The hotel is very large and has a lot of guests they had entertainment on which was OK. The breakfast has a wide selection of food for all and was nice . Right on the beach front surrounded by lots of bars and resteraunts

XX~tinaThe most bare hotel I have been to. Kettles need to be rented for a charge + deposit. There are no cups or cutlery in the room. Mini fridge is empty. I think I can understand why the hotel went for such measures given the crowd that is staying there - too many wild screaming Britons. Breakfast tables have nothing but a cloth. Lounge chairs are bare plastic making them very uncomfortable to use. Most of the chairs are in fact not available for use because guests dump their towels to reserve them and then not show up for hours. Staff allow this behaviour. The loud entertainment went on till 23:30 (accompanied by partying guests next door) so if you want to sleep any time before that - forget it, it's like trying to sleep inside a night club. Beach towels are not provided, bathroom towels cannot be taken out so if you didn't bring your own - tough. It is a beach property but the beach is private and hotel guests do not get any discounts. The shower was hot and had good pressure but there was hair left in the drain. Beds seemed good at first but I woke up with back pain. Went up to take a look at the roof terrace which looked lovely but we didn't stay for a drink. All in all the hotel was not for us and certainly would not recommend it if you are looking for a relaxing place.
KKevin Correa CedenoThe hotel is good and its location is quite convenient. The only thing is that public parking in the area is a bit complicated, but if you look carefully, you can park relatively close.
The hotel facilities are good, but there are some details that need to be worked on, such as optimal preparation of the room before the arrival of the guests to avoid setbacks.
In my case, when I arrived at the reception, they had not registered my breakfast even though it was included. When I arrived at the room, the electricity had been disconnected and the refrigerator was broken, leaving a puddle of water around it.
Despite everything, after reporting it, the incident was resolved and they changed the refrigerator.
Currently staying at the Sol principe with my partner and what a beautiful hotel & STUNNING location! Staff go above and beyond to make sure you have a good stay. One of our favourite hotels that we have stayed at. The location is beautiful, beach is literally across the road and the beach bars are beautiful. We are half board and there is such a different variety of food each night. Perfect for families, couple etc.. Thank you so much for an amazing stay so far!!
GGuest UserJust got back from the most amazing holiday as a family of 9 in 3 rooms the hotel staff can not do enough for you and the entertainment staff go above and beyond our 10 year old twins have not stopped.. It's central to everything and the water park and selwo marina is a must.we only got back today and are already looking at booking next year. Never have we been so sad to leave somewhere 7days is not enough thank you for memory's that will last a life time.
GGuest UserHaving never stayed at a 2 star hotel before, and nearly always going 5 star, I was expecting much worse, however this hotel was actually pretty good. The rooms may have been basic, but them, along with the rest of the hotel is very clean. Also, the staff are good, and very accommodating. The beds are not the comfiest and the Wifi is very bad however for the price and location, I think the hotel is probably a good option for many people, particularly those searching for a kosher hotel.
Very clean and comfortable. We stayed one night as we left spain. Nice staff. Restrauant ok. It would be nice for a few days stay when the pool and bars open. It's a very pretty setting with a shuttle to the beach and to the airport(limited hours). Downside pillows on beds 1 are one long one so not very comfortable. Rooms have nice outside areas
RrocktheworldVery old school hotel (Bit dated) Yeah! needs a face lift. But location wise was superb. Right in the centre and just walking distance from Torremolinos Train Station. Beautiful views from the top floor overlooking the Mediterranean Ocean. The room was small and bed was awful. Staffs were very friendly. Not recommended.
GGuest User1 nacht verbleven lekker dicht bij de airport ontbijt was simpel maar goed kamer was schoon en personeel was vriendelijk. Bedankt voor alles
AAnonymous UserThe hotel is located between residential blocks and there is no infrastructure. At the not far away beach there is exactly a bar. The hotel is older, which probably leads to the rooms are bigger and there is a bathtub. The facilities are not stylish and the single bed is very uncomfortable. Balcony was ok. The rooms are a little bright. Breakfast was moderate. No salchichon, no chorizo, no sobrasada and, of course, no S*****en. Full automatic probably with soluble coffee, so there is no espresso. You can't escape breakfast, it is always included. The price of 44 euros for this 3-Sternehotel I feel high. In summer you have beach and pool.
