Find the Cheap Sestao Hotels

We stayed one night in this hotel on the way to the Ferry to Ireland. There is secure underground parking (at extra cost) which we found useful. However, we were disappointed when, having arrived at 3.45 pm in Bilbao after an 8 hour drive in 30 degrees+ we were told that there was no facility for any drinks or refreshments in the Hotel and that such facilities would not be available until 7.30pm. We were further disappointed to find that when we came for breakfast the following morning, there was no coffee, bread or other basic food. We had to ask a member of staff to obtain some basic provisions for breakfast which seemed to confuse him. We noticed that at least four other guests who came after us also had little to eat. We gained the impression (right or wrong) that the hotel is not geared to accommodating foreign guests as after an initial early breakfast rush there seemed little interest in guests coming later. We particularly noted the lack of staff on the ground and everything seemed to be the responsibility of one staff member.

The river view room is stunning. It is wonderful to be able to enjoy from near the beautiful Vizcaya Bridge and the beautiful estuary in which you can see different athletes rowing and also observe some small boats sailing. The room is picturesque with modern and more classic details. What I like the most, as I said, is the balcony with views of the estuary and the comfort of the bed. Good TV, it has a mini bar and coffee maker with two complimentary capsules and downstairs in the hotel hall there is an old elevator in which it has coffee, chocolate and other drinks also free of charge 24 hours a day. Good attention from the employees since they were always friendly and willing, and everything was clean. I will return as soon as I can, I felt very comfortable with everything 😃👍🏽

Second time staying here - ready for the ferry back to UK. Basic accommodation but clean - no tea/coffee making facilities so good job I had the travel kettle with me for the morning cup of tea. Free parking and fuel station next door to fill up the tank before the final leg of journey! Staff friendly / bar area ok and light meals / snacks offered. There is a shopping mall within walking distance and also a games centre that has food outlets if you don’t fancy the hotel menu. Good location for the ferry - 5 to 10 mins in the car straight down the motorway (when you work out how to get on it !! - bit confusing).

The truth seemed to me very uncomfortable to have to go to the other building to register****, as well as they could make a entry and not have to turn around. I don't know what it was but there was something that was to noise, I don't know if it was the air conditioning (it is supposed to be shut off), in addition to the noise of the wicker, it was heard the noise of the fault. The small towels. The lift was very noisy when he opened the doors or stood on the floor (fortunately I was far from the lift). The cafeteria was very good, even the servant offered me a stick to not burn with what I was carrying, as I said I had to go to the other building. The room was very small and it was not a ventilator for smell out.

The hotel is located in the surrounding area of Bilbao City. Close to the World Heritage Biss Bridge, 5 minutes walk. Be sure to spend 0.45 euro to experience the unique bridge crossing of the Biss Bridge. The castle-style hotel is luxuriously decorated, the rooms are comfortable and bright, and the bathroom is beautiful. The hotel has an underground parking lot and free parking around. The surrounding area is obviously a tourist attraction area with churches and old streets.

Overall very good. Lack of dining facilities at weekend disappointing. Reception staff particularly helpful in recommending an excellent restaurant for dinner although taxi cost €30.00 each way to city centre. Breakfast was good.

If you are part of the older generation and your back is already in agony then you might not notice how solid the mattresses are. If you like your bacon and eggs refrigerated after they're cooked you then the 'warm' breakfast option may be for you. Outdated rooms to catapult you back to the 60s with 50 shades of brown. I also believe this was the last time the carpets had a thorough cleaning. Everytime you have a shower you can step straight out into the pool that was once your bathroom floor. An upside to the hotel would be the Estrella on draught, a few pints put a blur on everything, taking the edge of the dimly lit titanic like corridors. Hotel owners must be very friendly with the accreditors who give them 4 stars, as I've stayed in better 2 star resorts. A little bit morale between staff wouldn't go a miss either. Never been so happy to leave a hotel.

Hotel-Restaurant in an unlikely location in the heart of Neguri-Las Arenas. There is a very careful kitchen and well-connected sauces. The txangurro with carabine sauce and pocket egg is a total hit. The first is the first one to be a nice one. Great place to eat well and feel good.
