The hotel was rebuilt from the former bishop's residence. I think the bishop's life was really cool. The hotel is on the mountain. The scenery is really beautiful. It is suitable for the brothers who drive by themselves. The hotel is just outside the town and the scenery is very beautiful.

A small group of eight of us visited for a week commencing 15th May to attend a week long sporting event. Carmona is a very picturesque and atmospheric hill top town with plenty of restaurants and bars - unfortunately for us, it was the week of the May Fair so most of it was closed making it difficult to find meals in the evenings. However, the ice-cream parlour (Helados Arques Los Valencianos)in Plaza de San Fernando was absolutely amazing, delicious gelato made on the premises (the tutti fruitti). We stayed at the Hotel Alcázar de La Reina, having booked some seven months before our stay. The booking was based on pay on arrival, however 1 month before arrival the hotel demanded all of the payment up front. Despite querying this in e-mail and phoning the hotel I was unable to get the hotel to honour the terms of the original booking or for the general manager to return my call. It was immensely frustrating that on checking out, that the advance payments hadn’t been credited to the rooms and it took quite a heated conversation with the receptionist to get it resolved - of course once again the management were absent. The hotel has nice rooms (although the bathrooms are a little tired), the staff in the restaurant (especially Antonio) are fantastic as are the breakfast staff. The management seem non-existent and the reception staff less than helpful. The Parador de Carmona hotel is certainly worth a visit for drinks or a meal with views to die for. We’d definitely visit Carmona again but would not stay at Hotel Alcázar de La Reina, their unscrupulous business practices left a very sour after taste.

XXUHUIThe hotel is located in the center of the old city, right next to the church. It is very convenient to walk to various attractions, but it is also a double-edged sword! If you are traveling by car, do not try to drive the car directly to the hotel, otherwise you will be driven and crazy by the one-way small stone road that makes you doubt your life! The car can only be parked in the parking lot outside the old city, dragging luggage to the hotel for ten minutes, the hotel facade is very small, only a small card, really hard to find!

GGuest UserIt should be the best hotel in Seville. It has an excellent location, very close to the palace and church, and surrounded by the business district. The hotel itself belongs to Marriott's Luxury Collection brand. It was built by Alfonso XIII for the World Expo. It has a strong historical atmosphere and the elevator is very unique. The room itself is also very good, with good furnishings, comfortable beds and bathrooms. The supplies are all from selected brands, and there are no shortcomings except that there is no separate shower; the breakfast is rich and tastes good. It is self-service. There is a dedicated hot food chef in the left channel facing the dining table, who can make omelette and omelettes. And so on; luggage handling when checking in, luggage storage and taxi calling when leaving the hotel were all smooth; a final reminder: since this hotel is a well-known luxury hotel in the local area, it will be considered a wealthy person, so be careful when taking a taxi. The driver will charge you more. I came from the airport and used the meter for around 28 euros, but the driver charged me 35 euros. Please be careful.

GGuest UserThis hotel was the nicest, most chic hotel I've ever stayed in! I would come back just to stay in the hotel. All ibis Styles have a unique look and feel to them, and this one was perfect. Very stylish but in an accessible and comfortable way, I loved the mural by the lifts and all the cute scallop details. My friend and I stayed in a twin room with 2 single beds which was fairly compact but well presented. Our room faced the main road so we could hear a little traffic noise throughout the night but nothing too bad. Walk in shower was huge, although we did have the smell of sewage come up on occasion. Our stay had breakfast included, which we wouldn't have booked if there was an option without, but the buffet options were very varied (suitable vegetarian options) and it set us up well for each day of exploring the city. The rooftop pool was on the smaller side but perfectly fine to use, if a little on the colder side as not heated. Plenty of sun loungers and parasols to go around, with a really large covered seating area adjacent to the pool and next to the bar as well. There is a courtyard on the ground floor too that was really pretty to sit in. My friend and I had 4 days in Seville which was the perfect length of time to explore. The hotel is a little out of the main hustle and bustle of the city, but a 20min walk will take you right into the thick of it. On our last day we hired docking bikes which was such a good idea - Seville felt very safe to cycle in as there are dedicated cycle lanes and also a good way to explore the Maria Luisa park and ride along the river. There is a docking station right opposite the hotel. We took the bus to and from the airport which was very convenient, the buses ran quite frequently and it cost €4 each way so relatively cheap too. Overall, the hotel was really great and I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a Seville city break!

Actually, it is basically the same as the photo, the facilities are perfect, and the style is very simple.
Front desk information was great.
Although set up for 10 people, there are separate bathrooms with several sinks, two bathrooms and two showers.
Outside there is a balcony and lounge chairs.
The third floor is the rooftop, which is very comfortable, you can read a book and rest and watch the scenery.
Close to various attractions, basically walking.

GGuest UserGood clean comfortable hotel. We went during peak hot season, the air-conditioning in the room was perfect. Breakfast is simple and nice. May be it was not very busy at this time, but they allowed to stay in the room 2 hours beyond the scheduled check-out time. Overall very happy experience in the hotel for 3 nights. Only a very small observation is the location of the hotel is around 5 km away from the Seville main historic centre.

GGuest UserAt this hotel as a group we were not properly cared for from the start. The room turned out to have ventilation problems which were not addressed despite our claims to management. In the restaurant, the manager in charge during dinner on the second day made us feel very bad by requiring us to move from the place where we had already been placed for dinner by one of the waiters in an unprofessional and outrageous manner. Then we were moved to another place where we were provided with incomplete dinner after a long wait and when we were about to leave the waiter named Daniel charged my credit card not only my bill but the entire bill for drinks from the group without my request or consent. Subsequently, before the judicious and professional intervention of the guide Jose, they promised to take some remedial action, which never happened. I understand that when we pay for the higher category Class A service there should be a satisfaction guaranteed policy which in this place definitely did not happen.

GGuest UserWe stayed one night having flown in from France before driving to Portugal for 6 days holiday. We enjoyed a glass of wine before retiring for the night, good taste at a good price. Breakfast was self service with plenty of choice and plenty of everything, tables well spaced in line with suggested Covid regulations. Car park below the hotel cost also included in nightly charge.

GGuest UserReally enjoyed my time at this hostel and in the city of Seville in general. 20 minute easy walk from the bus station, large rooftop terrace and well equipped kitchen. Located in an old building, but with a lift and standard dorm, shower facilities. Staff were very friendly and helpful, could drop my bag off early before check in time which allowed me the chance to explore the neighbourhood. Will return there next time in Seville. More expensive on the weekend which is pretty standard in Spain.
