Find the Best Playa De Palma Hotels

5 night trip, very lovely helpful staff, nice big apar**ent which could do with a little updating especially the beds, they moved every time one of us turned over. Thankfully we also had a sofa bed, which my husband slept on for three nights. Bathroom served it's purpose but quite dated. Lovely sunny balcony in March which was a big bonus. Food was perfectly edible, but not a great choice on the fresh grill. Good location for time of year as set back from the promenade, so very sheltered.

Check in was a nightmare, they couldn't find me on the system. I was travelling alone for the first time so this left me a little shaken but the staff were very good and sorted the problem, I am unsure whether this was a hotel problem or an issue due to booking through Expedia. Beautiful clean hotel. The room was amazing and the bed comfy. Photos of my room when booking showed you got robes but this was not the case for me. Balcony sea view was stunning although, the balconies are not very private and the people next door to me were out a lot on theirs smoking which made me not want to be out on mine much. Twice when I ventured out through reception I noticed other hotel goers complaining, one of which was openly sobbing in the reception area, both times the staff didn't appear very understanding, but I didn't hang around to see the outcome. The pool area was lovely and the breakfast selection was amazing, they even had cava as part of the drinks selection which was a nice touch. Compared to the rest of the hotel the breakfast/bar area looks a bit dated. The pool bar doesn't open until 12 which was a disappointment as I was thirsty down by the pool and needed some bottled water or an orange juice etc to stop me getting dehydrated in the heat. 12 o clock came and went and I could hear staff members in the kitchen area but I rang the bell on numerous occasions and no one came. By 1:30 I gave up trying and went out to a local shop instead. Location was great for a beach holiday, I ventured into Palma old town by walking 20 mins to the aquarium and then getting a bus into the town for only €2.

This is not a complaint about a bunch of mishaps or anything like that. This is a hotel review. On one out of ten I told my wife I’d give it a 2. 1 star for being on the beach and 1 star because it actually exists. Outside of that there are many complaints. The air conditioner barely works. The room is smaller than suggested. The view is awful unless you are outside on the balcony looking to your left over the other balconies. Of you go on the balcony you can see the ocean. If you have a child that needs a sleeping space and the sofa is open to a bed there is no additional sitting space other than outside the room. The dresser does not have drawers. It is just to hold the coffee supplies. There is nothing included in bathroom like most hotels in terms of little lotion or mouthwash etc. there is shampoo in the shower, but it’s like a locker room where it’s a bottle with a push down to dispense. The breakfast included is not good. The coffee is watery with little coffee flavor. I suggest using the coffee machine. Eggs are lousy at best. The pastries are quite good, so stick with them. Staff was polite, so that was good.

The hotel experience was overall good! The people at the reception made us feel like we are welcomed at the hotel. The dining people were also exceptional. So the service I would say really great. But the room is pretty basic. Small but functional. But I would never prefer single beds for couples. So check/ask before taking the room if the room has double bed. Basic toiletries like toothpaste, shampoo were missing. At this price point these things were expected. Tea,coffee,kettle options were missing also. Room was clean and they do cleaning everyday. Location is great. 2 minutes walking distance from the beach. Also the bus stops are near to hotel. Lot of restaurants and bars options are available around the hotel. Breakfast was good but not great. Food options were pretty basic but I felt it was kept like this to make sure that everyone would have something at least. You will have gluten free options as well but let them know a little earlier if you want. They add one additional dish as a lunch near around 12 pm but that was for limited people. Like I was served Wrap, Pizza, beef burger in my 3 days staying. I don’t eat beef so avoided. So this option is limited. But the people at the service are really awesome. They will make you feel so comfortable and welcoming. Overall a good experience! Location: 9/10 Service: 9 /10 Room : 6/10

This Spanish trip This hotel is definitely a highlight. It has brought me a lot of surprises. The front desk service is warm and thoughtful. The rooms are clean and comfortable. The soundproofing effect is very good. The view of the sea view room is also very good. The most praiseworthy is the hotel's buffet. We have a buffet at the hotel in the morning and evening. A wide variety is different every day. The key is still delicious. The quality is very good.

Absolutely amazing, everyone was so friendly. Beautiful views from our room and amazing service from the staff. Would definitely go back to that hotel if we ever visit Palma again.

I had a really nice stay in the Taurus hotel. Personal was very friendly. Comfortable & clean rooms. Very good food at the restaurant. Helpful reception. I was on a bike holiday and this hotel was the main point of the bike operator, very close to the bikeshop/bikestorage. However, other guests were not affected by this. I definitely go back for a stay in this hotel!
