The hotel is away from the center but that didn't matter because we moved on bike. The room was very large, and everything was clean. The price is fair, and have bars to breakfast just below the hotel.

The hotel is located about a10 minute walk from the town center. My room spacious, modern, and well designed for the traveler, the bed comfortable An outstanding receptionist, Irene, went far beyond duty when I asked her for some information on transportation to Villa Romana Olmeda. She got all the bus schedules and the names and phone numbers of taxi drivers. Tips: The best, closest restaurant is Boulevar, two blocks from the hotel where everyone knows your name.

A convenient short walk away from downtown. Upon my request, an electric kettle was provided in the room. Friendly check in, decent modern room. The parking is done by elevator, only after reporting to the reception--＞ every parking spot is assigned by the reception.

Estuvimos una noche en este hotel durante la escapada a tierras palentinas y fue una estupenda elección. A pocos minutos andando de la Plaza Mayor y a tiro de todo lo visitable en Palencia. El personal muy amable, la habitación muy espaciosa y con camas muy cómodas. El baño grande, limpio y luminoso. Un buen lugar para descansar en Palencia, sin duda...!!

El hotel Alda Palencia es un hotel aunque más parece tipo albergue juvenil pues no hay cafetería ni restaurante.Eso sí,hay microondas y hervidor de agua creo.Aunque no lo usé pero lo vi.Hay un espacio con mesas para la gente que quiere desayunar ahí o comer algo y calentarlo. La habitación bastante espaciosa y con baño.Comoda y luminosa.Televisor y mesa.Suficiente para mí pues cerca del hotel hay muchos lugares para desayunar. La entrada para el registro lo hace una recepcionista pero para volver al hotel en horas que no hay recepción,se hace mediante una clave que hay que ingresar en el teclado de la entrada y la recepcionista da las claves de entrada.

We have been staying 3 days with a cultural trip from Imserso. The hotel is very well located, although it has no garage and at some hours it is complicated to park, it has a camping picking up the hotel, but to access the reception you have to climb up by a quite uncomfortable rampa. Our room was well, clean, with two large and very comfortable beds and a large shower, the insonorization is quite defect, as you hear everything from the neighbouring rooms With regard to food, both dinner and very floss breakfast. The breakfast is very basic. We were making dinners in a dining room only for the travelers of the Imserso, so I doubt how this service will be for the rest of the customers In relation to the staff, say the reception people well, But the dining roommates could have a little more empathy in the deal with customers Go to their air and pass from customers In summary, a hotel that is left over by a star and needs many improvements

Decent hotel on the edge of town. Nice room, good breakfast. Bathroom has some issues: an ill-fitting glass door, which is pretty annoying if you need to use it in the middle of the night and you do not want to wake your spouse with light & noise. Also, the toilet is almost underneath the sink, which means you need to be very careful not to hurt yourself when you want to sit on it or stand up. I have some back issues and I needed to twist my body painfully. I wish the toilet and bidet would have switched places.

First visited this hotel when it was quite new... so a fairly long time ago! It hasn't changed much. Tired(has had a lick of paint) old fashioned with a public area that looks likes Prince Charmings Castle.Dark bedroom which had a balcony(no seats) which was hardly surprising as it was filthy with bird ***. Saving grace was that it was clean. The dining has changed though...for the worse.My husband ordered roast ham with smashed potatoes.When it came we both looked as if it was a joke.Some sort of meat flooded in gravy and (for those who know) a huge pool of white sloppy stuff which was (I'm sure) very watery Smash dried potato. He took one taste and sent it back. Much to the huffing and puffing of the (quite) rude waitress. I had ordered fish and was also brought the smash.Twice it was brought back to the table saying it was what I ordered. The wine was about the worst I've ever tasted. We asked for a bottle of water to dilute it much to the sighs of impatience from the same waitress. Avoid this hotel. It really has fallen by the wayside. It's offering 1 star service while saying it's a 4 star hotel.
