Apartments are built at various altitudes around the pool. The whole offers a careful look. The apartment is equipped enough to be self-catering. In the vicinity there is a supermarket but we chose to drive the lLidl about 5 km. In the surrounding area there are a number of restaurants that are well affordable. We booked this accommodation for 2 weeks with free price. It is possible to get a very good price here. Car rental is necessary but very cheap. It is good to take it out every day and enjoy all the beautiful offers of La Palma. At the end of the day come back home in a Orima apartment.

Apartamentos muy cerca de la capital y a cinco minutos del aeropuerto, disponen de cocina completa con todos los enseres básicos. Desde la terraza tiene muy buena vistas al mar. Un lugar tranquilo tanto los apartamentos como la zona, recomendable para descansar. El personal es muy atento y educado.

We have just arrived home having spent a fabulous week at the Taburiente Playa. The staff were friendly helpful and professional. We had a great room on the 3rd floor with a fantastic sea view. The hotel was spotlessly clean in all areas, The drinks were all branded and the service from the bar was quick and efficient, the same in the restaurant. The staff were quick to clear dirty crockery and cutlery and even quicker bringing our drinks. We couldn't fault them. As mentioned in a previous comment there is currently some repair work going on on the terrace due to a water leak, beyond the hotels control. They have tried their hardest to minimise the disruption to guests but it has to be done. Tui did tell us a few days before the holiday offering a change of hotel or a full refund. However after a quick chat with the hotel explaining the works we decided to risk it. How glad we were, personally it didn't disturb us. The bar and restaurant were working as usual. The pool bar wasn't open but it wasn't open last time we came either. We hired a car and travelled round the beautiful island. This hotel is the perfect base for walking or sight seeing or taking in some sunshine and relaxing, especially the heated pool about 27 degrees. We wouldn't hesitate to return and do it all again.

We visit Paradores regularly, and La Palma was probably the best Parador experience we ever had. The building is conveniently located, with amazing views of the island and sea. The premises are worth exploring, with a gorgeous garden that extends down the hill. But what made our stay truly special was the team working at the Parador. Everybody was extremely friendly and accommodating, and by the time we left we truly felt at home. We look forward to visiting La Palma again, and we will certainly stay at this Parador.

La comida estuvo bien lo único que no me gustó es que la cocina y los baños hay que hacerle más limpieza porque tenían mal olor y la cámara que me tocó tenía restos de comida por las orillas

This is a review for the rooftop bar only as we did not stay here. It is a small hotel in a quiet street in the town. If you are not staying, there is a minimum charge for drinks on the roof terrace. It is a small roof terrace and we were on our own. Lovely views out over the beach. We had two rounds of the signature cocktail which was banana based and delicious. Despite bananas growing everywhere, no other bar or hotel could make us a banana daiquiri so this was brilliant. And there were plantain chips to get with it. This place seem a good example of sustainable, local tourism to be encouraged in La Palma and a world away from the tacky places that the cruise ship people get funnelled towards.
