Nuestra experiencia en este hotel spa Infante Don Juan Manuel ha sido decepcionante. En primer lugar, se nos asignó una habitación de categoría claramente inferior a la que habíamos pagado a través de un bono regalo. Solo tras detectar nosotros que esa no era la habitación pagada (suite con vistas), reconocieron el error. La disculpa por parte del personal fue que por un equívoco le habían asignado la habitación a otro cliente. Lo más desconcertante fue la escasa oferta de solución para remediar su error por parte del establecimiento. La única propuesta fue descontar la diferencia de precio entre las dos habitaciones. Esta respuesta resulta sorprendente e insatisfactoria, ya que la responsabilidad recae en el hotel por proporcionar la habitación incorrecta inicialmente, teniendo en cuenta que solo reconocieron su error al detectarlo nosotros. Intentaban ver si colaba… Este hecho sugiere una falta de integridad por parte del establecimiento. además de este intento de engaño, se añadieron otros episodios que relatamos brevemente y que agravaron nuestro nivel de decepción de la estancia en este hotel: 1-La información proporcionada sobre la disponibilidad de wifi en todas las habitaciones resultó ser falsa, ya que experimentamos problemas continuos de conexión en la habitación asignada. 2-La temperatura en todas las áreas del hotel era notablemente fría, evidenciando una deficiencia en la calefacción o su insuficiencia. La ausencia total de “amenities” en el baño, así como la carencia de zapatillas y albornoces en un establecimiento que se publicita como de cuatro estrellas, resulta lamentable. 3-El spa, aunque anunciado como abierto, no estaba totalmente operativo, según nos indicaron, lo cual indica una falta de transparencia en la publicidad del hotel. 4-El desayuno ofrecido fue decepcionante, un buffet con carencias notables y la necesidad de solicitar zumo de naranja y leche, porque se habían acabado… La calidad de la bollería sugería que no era fresca, estaba seca… ni siquiera disponían de pan integral… Es preocupante observar discrepancias entre la valoración de Booking (8,8) enmarcada en la recepción y la realidad actual (7,7) lo cual refleja una falta de honestidad y transparencia por parte de la gestión del hotel. En resumen, nuestra estancia fue marcada por una serie de inconvenientes que revelan una gestión deficiente e incompetente para gestionar un establecimiento hotelero. En nuestra opinión, este hotel que demuestra tal grado de incompetencia y recurren a prácticas engañosas deberían ser objeto de una revisión y regulación más estricta para garantizar la calidad y la honestidad en sus servicios.

GGuest UserWhat a surprise when we walked through the door. This beautiful old renovated farm house was just so cozy. We were welcomed by the owner on arrive, he communicated with us using Google translate which was great. Made us welcome showed us around his property than to our rooms. Rooms were nice, clean and comfortable with hot showers and toilet in both rooms. Lovely view from our window of the big flour windmills on the hill. There were a few people staying there but we only saw 1 family at breakfast. Breakfast had a great variety of food to select, from cereal, danishes, toast cheese and cold meats. There was a swimming pool.

GGuest UserFor our final night in Spain, we wanted a hotel within an hour of Madrid Airport but not a chain hotel on the airport property. The Ansares Hotel fit bill. For a reasonable 131 Euro, we got a large double room in a purpose built hotel with free parking on the street. Our bed was comfortable but the room was very hot at night because the in-room thermostat didn’t work properly. So we opened the door onto our patio to cool the room. The shower was great. There’s not much of tourist interest in Tarancon apparently, but we parked, checked in and used the large room to repack all our things before our flight. We had drinks in the bar (reasonably priced) and dinner in the Essentia Restaurant that was good but expensive and even using Google Translate was hard to order. We didn’t have breakfast here as we left early for the airport. But it is available at additional cost. The hotel is an event venue and we saw them wrapping up a corporate event and setting up for a wedding. All in all, the hotel met our needs but I can’t imagine tourists coming here except on the way somewhere else.

We picked this parador for an overnight stop on a long drive south towards Andalusia. It was chosen because it was the right distance. When we arrived we just loved it. A castle on a cliff overlooking a river with views for miles. The interior has been charmingly adapted, our room really was part of a castle but fitted out to a high standard. The restaurant had a good choice of local dishes and was reasonably priced. Our waiter advised on excellent local wines which were a bargain. Every member of staff we spoke to was charming and helpful.

We really loved the hotel. We chose it at random but really hit the jackpot. The building is charming and the decoration is beautiful. The room was comfortable and charming. The staff are friendly and helpful. We had a brilliant dinner with local cheeses and local wine all at a reasonable price. We only stayed one night on our way from Madrid to Almeria, but would love to return and spend some time in the area.
