Great hotel in every way. From the facilities with 4 SPA swimming pools, gyms and other facilities, the buffet is of course excellent, with a wide range of products, and strict safety measures have been taken against Covid. It is also worth mentioning that all the workers who make our work work like home.

As always, our stay was excellent. Great and hyper clean rooms, great breakfast, incredible and stunning views of the ocean and the sunset. A true paradise in Cadiz. From our point of view, the Sea Facing rooms are worth the money. And the hotel staff ... so friendly and ready to help. THANK YOU SO MUCH!

Hoy hemos terminado nuestra estancia de cuatro días en este hostal. En líneas generales está bien, el desayuno (que lo contratamos) nos pareció correcto y Ambrosio (el chico que nos atendía cada mañana) es estupendo, muy amable y nos atendió genial. Sin embargo, ha habido muchas cosas que no me han gustado. En primer lugar, tras terminar el periodo de cancelación mi madre sufrió un ictus y le tenían que hacer una intervención posterior justamente el lunes que iniciábamos la estancia. Llamé tanto a Booking como al alojamiento para tratar de retrasar la entrada o cambiar las fechas. Booking nos dijo que sin ningún problema siempre que el alojamiento aceptase. El alojamiento dijo no, les dio igual el motivo. Igualmente, comprendo que el periodo de cancelación gratuita había terminado y lo respeto, aunque me parece poco empático. El problema viene cuando entramos a la habitación y vemos dos camas juntas y nada más. Nuestra reserva era HABITACIÓN DOBLE MÁS SUPLETORIA. La supletoria no estaba, lo comunicamos y nos indican que aunque la habitación se llama así, no nos corresponde. Si la queríamos debíamos abonar 15€/noche. Tras decirles que no estábamos de acuerdo (hay que mencionar además que eran dos camas y al ser dos adultos y un bebé uno estaría en el medio y se abrirían las camas), nos dicen que lo gestionemos con Booking y fin. Hemos estado durmiendo incómodos, atravesados y disfrutando de una habitación doble con supletoria, que se llama así pero que de supletoria solo el nombre. Adjunto la foto de mi reserva. Pd. Si queríamos cuna era 5€/noche.

Staying at Take Hostel for a few days was quite a experience. The place is really cozy, with a well equiped kitchen, a comfortable salon/hall and the showers and the shared rooms were pretty great. If I had to highlight something, that would be people. The staff (Totó, Finne, Camila, Santi, Alberto, Álvaro...) were close and friendly, and being hostel + surf school is a killer combination, since they take you from the door of the hostel straight to the school. Thank you all if you're reading! I was lucky enough to stay at the same time than many wonderful travelers, and I'll be probably coming back for a few more surf experiences and to disconnect. Really, really recommend this place.
