I wish I lived closer so I could stay at this hotel more often! Imagine a full day of walking on the Camino del Norte and arriving at the gates to this stunning hotel. It was perfect in every way. Our host Jesus was extremely charming and very welcoming. This is a family owned and operated business situated on spacious, peaceful and meticulously maintained grounds. Jesus was very attentive and answered all questions about the house and his family history. The house is beautifully decorated with family portraits, antique furniture and proudly displayed on the upstairs level is a letter written by his great grandfather to Woodrow Wilson. Our room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The bar fridge was impressively stocked. My friends and I especially enjoyed the Codorniu Benjamin Cava which we shared in the comfortable main floor living room. The breakfast was generous and nicely presented. It was truthfully a most enjoyable and memorable stay.

Hubby and i stayed for a week while visiting my family.I cant fault anything in this hotel. Rooms are super clean, bit of a perfect mix between old fashion and modern. All the staff is great, very professional. Breakfast was excellent. There is no coffee shop or bar, but lots of options in the center of Gijón, so thats not a problem. We will be coming back.

Ideal location in the street Corrida de Gijón, shops, coffee shops and near the sea and all the tourist attractions. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The rooms have a safe, the ours have no minibar but in the reception they have drinks to charge for charge, really a very good hotel. We have breakfast outside, but there is a dining room and I saw guests eat. ¡ I would certainly stay back!

Very aesthetically pleasing hotel, large bedroom, good quality shower, great location, plus check out at 12 which is nice. The not so good: Requested where we could get breakfast at check in, we were given the names of two places close by. We didn’t even know there was breakfast available at the hotel as an option until we spotted the tea and coffee point one evening. We went down to get a drink just after 10 and told it wouldn’t be available until 12. A bit odd, especially as it’s not available in the room and we didn’t know about breakfast. The corridor gets a bit noisy if your located near the storage cupboard as the doors slam shut. It is a nice hotel , but I think there are just a few things which need adding, e.g. do not disturb signage in the room, information sheet in the room about things like the number to call to reach reception.

GGuest UserI wish I lived closer so I could stay at this hotel more often! Imagine a full day of walking on the Camino del Norte and arriving at the gates to this stunning hotel. It was perfect in every way. Our host Jesus was extremely charming and very welcoming. This is a family owned and operated business situated on spacious, peaceful and meticulously maintained grounds. Jesus was very attentive and answered all questions about the house and his family history. The house is beautifully decorated with family portraits, antique furniture and proudly displayed on the upstairs level is a letter written by his great grandfather to Woodrow Wilson. Our room was spacious, clean and extremely comfortable. The bar fridge was impressively stocked. My friends and I especially enjoyed the Codorniu Benjamin Cava which we shared in the comfortable main floor living room. The breakfast was generous and nicely presented. It was truthfully a most enjoyable and memorable stay.

Super helpful staff The room was large, very modern, well furnished & equipped, & peaceful There’s a 15 minute parking bay outside for unloading, then staff helpful in sorting discounted parking 2 minutes away. Buffet breakfast really good too. What’s not to like – a lovely 2 night stay.

GGuest UserVery aesthetically pleasing hotel, large bedroom, good quality shower, great location, plus check out at 12 which is nice. The not so good: Requested where we could get breakfast at check in, we were given the names of two places close by. We didn’t even know there was breakfast available at the hotel as an option until we spotted the tea and coffee point one evening. We went down to get a drink just after 10 and told it wouldn’t be available until 12. A bit odd, especially as it’s not available in the room and we didn’t know about breakfast. The corridor gets a bit noisy if your located near the storage cupboard as the doors slam shut. It is a nice hotel , but I think there are just a few things which need adding, e.g. do not disturb signage in the room, information sheet in the room about things like the number to call to reach reception.

GGuest UserAll in all, we found this hotel to be impressive, all rooms are clean, tidy, beautiful and correct, the hotel is well located about 15m from the old town. For ”but”, I will introduce the following. When arriving at the reception, the girl who attended our meeting (by the way, very beautiful) explained that if we want to eat breakfast and enjoy a 9 euro discount, then we can hire him the day before because it is 18 euros. In general, we went out for dinner and then returned to the hotel. The next day we wanted to rent breakfast. To our surprise, the boy at the reception told us that in order to benefit from this offer, we must We hired him during our stay and he gave us so angry that we didn't do it because it was not what they told us in the first place. But on the Sunday before leaving, there was another girl at the reception. In order to confirm the true version, we told her what happened and confirmed the version of her first companion. She asked us a thousand apologies. The facts are facts. There is nothing we can do. Could not have breakfast.

GGuest UserHotel Alda Pasaja is located on a busy street with a lot of traffic, right at the centre. The outdoor life in the centre is very noisy at night and night, even with windows closed and closures in there is a lot of noise load. The lift, water use of shower, washing table and toilet is also clearly hearable. The hotel has a stopline to load baggage and a street further is a public parking garage. The hotel has a discount code for parking costs €13 per day.

GGuest UserI stayed in Hotel Alcomar in August during a surftrip. The staff was very friendly and I felt very welcome. It might not be the most hip and trendy hotel, but i loved the atmosphere and the classic old feel to it. My room was spacious, clean and it had a huge bathroom. Only minus might be the noice from other guests in the hallway, if they are talking in the hallway you can hear them quite clearly. The location is great as well, next to the beach and near the old historic center and the numerous bars and restaurants. You cant have a more perfect location. I really enjoyed my stay and i would come back for sure!

EEliuska MarielIdeal location in the street Corrida de Gijón, shops, coffee shops and near the sea and all the tourist attractions. The room was very comfortable and the room was very comfortable. The rooms have a safe, the ours have no minibar but in the reception they have drinks to charge for charge, really a very good hotel. We have breakfast outside, but there is a dining room and I saw guests eat. ¡ I would certainly stay back!
