Very nice and helpful staff. Very clean. In summer rather not take a room in the top floor. It could become very warm. My room had no air conditioning as the other rooms are equipped, I cannot say. Breakfast is enough and good. You have felt very well. Good restaurants nearby. Thank you and enjoy it again!

Das Hotel ist viel besser als man es vermuten würde wenn man die Bewertungen auf dieser Seite liegt. Die Bilder hier von den Zimmer sind etwas sehr überholt. Mein Zimmer im 2. Stock war modern und offensichtlich vor nicht allzulanger Zeit komplett renoviert worden. Ein schicker Bodenbelag in Holzoptik, gutes Bett, gute Farbauswahl und im Bad eine große Dusche. Alles tip top sauber. Die nahegelegene Schnellstraße hört man bei geschlossenem Fenster nicht. Das Frühstücksbuffet ist super, eine richtig gute Auswahl, Brötchen vom Bäcker, es wird immer schnell wieder aufgefüllt. So macht der Start in den Tag wirklich Spaß.

No porters. Two separate lifts to get to the second floor. I booked a deluxe room and the first room I was given was in the attic with windows the size of the slits used to fire arrows out of in castles. After a serious complaint I was given a proper room however the air conditioner did not work. When I queried this the receptionist said the whole second floor was without air-conditioning this would have been fine if the outside temperature had not been the 34 degrees it was during our stay on top of this the room was west facing so the temperature inside the room was well into the 30's most of the time. The secure parking is €16 per day and the swimming pool an extra €6 per person per day. The restaurant was full of flies at breakfast time and front door did not work on the day we left so everyone had to use a side door.

Positive: - Staff always very nice - Staff room available for evening (if you don't want to play in the room) - Stacking space for bikes - Parking sufficiently available - Drinks also available at the reception evening What unfortunately - Although WG Corona should only be 10 guests at the same time in the breakfast room, we come and suddenly have 15 people extremely close around us. This is not possible - you wear mask in the house, employees come to one without opposing - the long walk that leads to the rooms smells ...bestious ... There seems to be no decent airing here, or there is no sufficient air function available. But with evil to/ from the room, it is not pleasant

As our booked standard twin bed room category was booked out, we were upgraded to a family room (kind of a junior suite), although with a queen bed and the infamous connecting door I asked to avoid when making the reservation. But the very nice room made up for that and no sound could be heard from the (vacant?) adjacent room. The hotel has a quirky ”bike” theme as Magdeburg is a prominent stop on the ”Elbe-Radweg” (bike trail along the river Elbe). We slept perfectly, bedding was good, the bathroom with shower was spacious and comfortable and there was a separate toilet. The breakfast buffet was high quality and keeping in mind, that ibis styles is a budget chain, more than sufficient. The Accor All silver status was honored with a free drinks voucher in the well visited bar. We were very happy with our stay!

Breakfast is very good The bed is very large So we don't have an extra bed, it is suitable for children to travel. The hotel is very close to the small town center, there is free parking, but parking outside is also free, very convenient. I only stayed one night in the midst of the pandemic so I’m sure this hotel has a very different dynamic in regular times. The reception area is fantastic, a huge, high ceiling area meaning you can see right up to the top floor. Add some pedestrian traffic and guests and you’ve got a great place to have a coffee or meet people. In today’s environment, it just seemed sad and empty. The room was well equipped, nice big bed, good bathroom - though who uses a bidet in 2020? Service was good as you would expect from having so few guests. As with all hotels, they are keen to point out and highlight their environmental commitments. But then this hotel takes payment for electric car charging - presumably with the excuse they have no choice etc, managed by another company etc. It seems green issues are only an initiative if they save money. That aside, I would stay here again and I’m sure it’s a very different place in normal times.
