Find the Cheap Villingen-Schwenningen Hotels

We spent three nights at this lovely, relaxing hotel. We were a group of fifteen on a motorcycle tour of the Black Forest and could not have been made to feel more welcome. It is family run and owned and that was very evident. The room was beautifully decorated, warm and spacious, with a fabulous shower room and nice toiletries . There is small bar and terrace area and a cosy lounge with free coffee and excellent cake. The breakfast was varied and plentiful and included scrambled eggs, sausages, fruit, yoghurt and delicious breads. For bikers, the parking is just perfect; secure and safe and on the same level as reception. The area has many nice restaurants and is a perfect base to explore the Black Forest. Thank you to the lovely owners and staff for a wonderful stay.

We had chosen the hotel for two days as a possibility of staying on our holiday trip to the south and were very nicely received on Friday afternoon at the reception. Due to the Corona restrictions, we were immediately informed of wearing a mask and using the disinfectants. But then we were very disappointed that we couldn't book any place for the next evening in the restaurant for dinner. We were told that we could have done the same when booking, because because of the local visitors and weekend bookings, the restaurant was booked almost every weekend. We could look for something in Villagens on the color road, there would be enough restaurants there. A recommendation did not want the receptionist to express. We didn't think so well, because it should be possible to establish a place for 2 people in some way in the restaurant or in other areas. A weekend before we had experienced this in another romantic hotel where the receptionist had made it possible despite full reservation. Very well enjoyed our room 116 on the first floor, because it was very spacious and had under the roof with the wooden bars and the sharp window still a seat with round table. All was very modern and stylish with wood. A very large flat screen was fitted over the skillfully installed plate with a minibar, which was invited to television because it was in front of the two broad and comfortable beds. The prices for soft drinks and beer in the minibar were moderate. In this room you could really feel well. The excellent lighting system that you could control from the bed was also impressive, as well as the sticks with USB loading boxes. The free Wi-Fi created a quite fast internet connection because at a speed test it reached more than 80000 kbit/s in download and in the amazing 50000 kbit/s in upload. Also, we enjoyed modern bathing equipment With the shower and the huge mirror across the wall. Unfortunately, one heard the train passing by night, reminded one of the trains passing behind the house. Fortunately, the train traffic was not so strong that we could make it comfortable in the afternoon on the comfortable beds under the fruit trees. That was very relaxing, especially as the friendly servant provided us with drinks. We found that this hotel was suitable for a longer holiday than just one weekend, because next to a living room there was also a wellness area with a terrace and comfortable beds. Furthermore, the location outside Villages next to the swimming pool and near the curtain park is very advantageous, because there are many walking and walking paths. Very satisfied we were with dinner on the inner terrace

Stayed there for one night in a superior room. Decided to take this room because of the bed size as most of the beds in the other rooms only have a width of 160 cm which is for 2 adults rather small. Rooms are nice and clean. BUT: for the staff there is a lot space to improve. They are NOT friendly and NOT helpful. Got the feeling that no-one in this hotel has an education in the hotel or restaurtant business. I think they really need to be trained better, because this is a real drawback.

Perfect location: 50m from the main street, but very quiet. Staff: very friendly and responsive. Room: matress/bed very comfortable and spacious. TV - movie screen size. Cleanliness: perfect. Price: great value for money (hiking throught the region and this is the best value by far). To recommend without hesitation.

Excellent customer service Tanya from front desk helped me with multiple request. The restaurant meals were delicious. Room was very large, new and comfortable. Only 20 minutes from Black Forest and quick 10 minute drive to village main plaza. Highly recommend.

We were in this hotel for 3 nights for a group tour in the black forest, we stayed here and we moved on several stages in the day. Slightly decentralized, but still close to several supermarkets. Clean and quite modern rooms. Essential and unexcessful breakfast....ma you could give more. Doulent notes? I'm going with the list: 1. Personal reception scortey and unavailable (I asked for a further couch and they answered that nn had 🙄..... ; they gave me a further shower fabric and the day after I took it again, arguing that the towels were to be 2+2 for each room and not more .....mah . Please understand!!!!); 2. At any request nn I pointed to myself how many times they sbuffed and raised their eyes to the sky; 3. This is a real girl ....My husband dropped for breakfast at 8.10 and he was told that for the group breakfast was served from 6.30 to 8.00 and not later ....N.B the breakfast hours were from 6.30 to 10, 00.....QUINDI??? Why THIS DIFERENCE????? GOOD GOODS ARE CLOSED ..... Then we found that breakfast from 8.00 to then was rich with more food ..... CHE SCHIFO!!! However, spared and little available ... I wouldn't come back ....

Nice, clean, good breakfast buffet, dogs allowed Very centrally located, just a few minutes walk to the thermal, in the park or in the city centre. The parking is feeling further away. Unfortunately no safe in the room (good we had a dog with it). The lift is the biggest criticism point, the control has a pre-war character and needs to feel forever until it reacts once after the entrance. The breakfast buffet is extensive, for everyone there is something. The breakfast service staff are very emigrated and are trying to clean the free tables again for the next guest. The cleaning forces for the rooms are also very friendly and also fulfill special wishes (in the framework) That the building has seen better times, is aware of one at a walk on the balcony, small, the façade might need a renovation and the equipment is below standard. The bed is cozy and optional are more kits and ceilings available. The floor of the room seems to be a lenolium tape, after all clean. The bathroom has come in the years but here is also positive to mention the clean condition.

Mein Aufenthalt im Hotel Concorde war wirklich unvergesslich. Ausreichend Parkplätze sorgten von Anfang an für Komfort, ergänzt durch einen herzlichen Empfang und äußerst aufmerksames Personal. Besonders hervorheben möchte ich das Engagement des Serviceteams, das nicht nur sehr sehr gute Cocktails zubereitete, sondern auch ein ausgeprägtes Interesse daran zeigte, die Wünsche der Kunden zu erfüllen. Das Teams ist sehr lebhaft und sie leisten hervorragende Arbeit. Immer gut gelaunt und wir fühlten uns wie zu Hause. Das gesamte Team zeigte jederzeit Professionalität und Gastfreundschaft. Das reichhaltige Frühstück bot eine unglaubliche Vielfalt, verschiedene Brotsorten und was ich am besten fand, war, dass sie ihr eigenes hausgemachtes Brot und auch köstlichen Kuchen backten. Das Team sorgte stets für das, was fehlte und sorgte für alles Nötige, um morgens mit Energie und einer prise Liebe und guter Laune in den Tag zu starten. Das Hotelrestaurant verfügt über eine kleine Speisekarte, die jedoch den Geschmack der Gäste trifft und für den Preis eine zufriedenstellende Portion bietet. (Obwohl ich glaube, dass sie das Potenzial für ein breiteres Menü haben) Preise sind ok. Was ich sehr interessant fand, war der Blick auf den Flugbetrieb, den man sowohl von der Fensterfront des Restaurants als auch von der modernen Terrasse genießen kann. Wann bekommt man schon mal einen Blick in greifbarer Nähe auf kleine Sportflugzeuge, größere Privatjets und Helikopter. Der moderne Zigarren Lounge verlieh dem Erlebnis einen Hauch von Raffinesse. Die Lounge war ein attraktiver Ort, sehr gemütlich und mit einer großen Auswahl an Zigaretten, Rum, Whiskey und Cocktails für einen angenehmen Abend. Die Zimmer waren geräumig, modern und überraschend ruhig, sogar mit Blick auf die Straße konnten wir eine erholsame Nacht verbringen. Das Zimmer verfügt über eine gute Kaffeemaschine und Mineralwasser. Die Zimmerreinigung war gut und es gibt auch ein System namens Green Choise, was ich persönlich für eine wirklich coole Initiative hielt. Gäste haben die Möglichkeit, auf den Zimmerservice zu verzichten und einen Getränkegutschein für ein Getränk ihrer Wahl zu erhalten. Wir waren sehr zufrieden und empfehlen das Hotel Concorde weiter.
