Find the Cheap Schweinfurt Hotels

We spent 2 nights in one of the upgraded double rooms. Upon check in we were promptly greeted by a woman who spoke perfect English, she has been married to an American for 50 years after all. She directed us around to the parking where we could store our bikes. Upstairs we found our room to be clean, well appointed, and spacious. We really liked having the small refrigerator in the room but sure would have loved a small microwave as well. The bed was comfortable, we had a sofa and a chair (a second chair would be nice), the shower roomy and hot. The hotel location was perfect, almost next door to the central plaza and within easy walking distance to grocery stores, the train station, and the historical sites. We did not try the breakfast so can't comment on that. Our only complaint was that the air conditioner was a bit too small for the room. The room faced the west side and it got quite warm in the afternoon. We put the A/C temperature at 18 but the room never got below 24 and the fan was tepid at best. Otherwise it was a fine room for a 2 night stay

We liked this simply furnished hotel. Everything was clean and fresh. The breakfast was excellent. There was secure storage for bikes. There is a restaurant for evening meals ( complete with a robot waiter!!). However I do not have a large appetite and the pasta with chanterelle mushrooms was vast! Perhaps it may be possible to ask for a small portion.

Despite Corona, everything was fine here. Beautiful large room where you could still work well. Also the breakfast service was pleasant and premature, the offer was varied. A small table lamp or lamp above the table would be a good supplement. The car can also be well accommodationd in the nearby parking house at the standard price.

We stopped at this hotel to break up our drive back to Berlin. It is in a good location by the river and one can walk into the city center. The staff seemed very nice and we felt welcomed at check in. They had a good wheelchair accessible room and we appreciated the small refrigerator. The room was spacious and clean but did appear well worn with stains on the carpet and very basic furnishings. However the hotel was priced fairly, it was quiet in the room and we slept very well.

We were on our city trip to a B&B hotel for a repeated time. But this time we had a little trouble with the room(103). Not only was it a disabled room, which was perfectly OK (rolling chair fair shower and toilet), but the location directly to the entrance was not exactly optimal. Many smokers that gathered and swallowed up before the door like the dolls, so it was not possible to kick the window without stirring in the room. In addition, the noise telling the smokers also helped you to open the window only in the night to enjoy a little fresh air and quiet. In addition, the hotel can have top location points. ( Directly opposite the shopping and restaurant miles), just as with a fair parking price!! But because of the poor location of the room, we do not have any further recommendation.

On the journey from the Gardasee to northern Germany we searched for a hotel on our way and we liked the website of the Cup Vitalis. Unfortunately, what came after was not so beautiful. At the beginning we were called a wrong night price (30,00 euros too high), only after multiple requests were called the correct price. Then we received the room card, unfortunately the room was not made at all, so returned to the reception where we didn't believe. Only after we asked to accompany us to the room we were believed and we received another room. Since we were on the way for a few hours and hungry, we went to the ”Restaurant Floor”. It was built a buffet as you might find it in the Altersheim, it looked terrible. We (59 and 53 years old) have significantly reduced the average age in the hotel, there are only old hotel guests. However, we visited the other restaurant (a la Carte Food) and ordered it because we had no longer a wish to go to the city. The food was terrible. As a finished menu. Furry. We were told that this table is also available for breakfast, we did it, and breakfast was not in line with our expectations, we could do this even further, but do not want to act insulting. Concluded: Rooms good! Reception: Unable! Eating: bad! Also, you should have written on the website that it is an older hotel, i.e. age average felt 75+
