During my recent stay at this hotel, I had a mixed experience. While there are many positive aspects, there were also some drawbacks that made my stay less enjoyable. Wellness: The wellness facilities are excellent. The saunas, steam baths, and massages offer a perfect way to relax and unwind. Everything is clean and well-maintained. Indoor pool is great a nice to be in due to the heated water. Outdoor Pools in good weather: The outdoor pools are beautiful and well-maintained. On sunny days, it’s wonderful to relax and swim here. There are plenty of lounge chairs and the view is fantastic. Peacefulness: The hotel is an oasis of tranquility. The surroundings are quiet and peaceful, making it ideal for a relaxing stay away from the hustle of everyday life. Beautiful contemporary reception: The reception is modern and stylishly decorated. It gives a good first impression and the design is very inviting. Friendly and professional staff: The staff is extremely friendly and professional. They do everything they can to make your stay as pleasant as possible and are always willing to help. Spacious room: The rooms are spacious and comfortable. There is plenty of space to move around freely and the decor is ”modern” and functional. The beds are comfortable but pillow is too soft: The pillows are too soft and affect sleeping posture, which impacted the quality of sleep. The bathroom is well-equipped. Coffee and tea facilities are present and are replenished every day. Dinner with Half Board: Unfortunately, the dinner with half board was (very) disappointing. The five-course dinners were absolutely not to my taste. The chef attempts a type of fusion cuisine with unsuccessful flavor combinations. Even renowned chefs don't dare to combine fish and fruit, yet this chef did. The chef tries to be special but unfortunately doesn't succeed. He/she is still experimenting, which resulted in several evenings where I left the table hungry. No Air Conditioning in our room: during warm days, the room gets quite hot because there is no air conditioning. If you open the windows at night, you become the buffet for mosquitoes. Good Location for outings when bad weather: This is not a negative point, I want to mention that the hotel is well-located for outings during less favorable weather. There are several interesting destinations nearby that are easily accessible. Overall, this hotel offers great wellness facilities, a beautiful environment, and friendly staff, but the dinner with half board, the lack of air conditioning, and the soft pillows are important areas for improvement.
We traveled around Europe by car and decided to visit the Castle of Noshwaistein. This hotel is very close to the sights, just 10 minutes from the hotel by car and you are at the castle. The hotel arrived late at night, but they were warned in advance. The hotel hid the keys in a special box with the code. Parking was not all simple, or the hotel was filled with car travellers or it was not a private parking and all places were occupied at night. But the next building found a place. Parking is free. The hotel itself made the bright impression as if you came to the house to your grandmother. Many antique furniture. The room was taken for two with a big bed. Very little room in the room, with big suitcases will not be convenient but real. The bathroom is very low ceiling, especially in the shower cabin. A man over 1.80 will be uncomfortable. Bed too so for himself. Pushers are time to change. We are not biased, so we haven't started to twist. The hotel is in a very quiet place, we were awakened by the singing of the birds in the morning. Fresh air, beautiful village, all this covered the small shortcomings of the hotel. Come here.

We were staying in Hohenschwangua close to both castles and was told that Schwangau had plenty of restaurants. All looked pretty full so we decided to park the car and walk around the main street to find a restaurant, most places need reservations or were full, one place recommended Helmer Hotel & Restaurant which was just one street off the main road. We were lucky enough they had room. Service was good and the meal was ok. I went for the croquette and schnitzel but found I could taste the oil in both. There was a self serve salad bar which was very good. The location was ideal and the restaurant was nice and cozy. I believe there was a wedding or event going on in one of their banquet rooms.

This was the best hotel while I stayed in Germany. If you don’t mind walking it takes about 30min to fussen. At reception, I asked breakfast since I didn’t offer. If you don’t, you should. The buffet style was fascinating and we waitress asked me drink and egg. The coffee was served in a pot and boiled egg could choose hard or soft. The employee the hotel are all friendly and helpful. I planned to go to the castle so I asked to look after my luggage and consented willingly. It was my precious memory staying this hotel. Thank you. I’ll come back someday.

From the outside and the surrounding area of the hotel is nice. However, don't let it fool you as the rooms have furniture and decoration from late 1990s. While this in itself isn't a problem, for the price of the hotel, you'd expect a more modern and newer amenities in the rooms. Additionally, there was only one person working the front desk when we are checking in. Also, I'm not sure if this is with all the rooms but our carpet had a smell and the windows are not very sound proof as we could overhear other guests chatting and smoking until 2am with our windows closed. The hotel breakfast buffet is nice, but there is only 1 coffee machine for all the guests. Needless to say, you will surely wait in a long queue for your coffee. The omelette is great but highly suggest you to avoid the bread. It is harder than a rock!!! Another positive is the all you can eat salad bar for dinner, highly recommend. The parking is also an issue as the hotel does not separate parking for the restaurant and hotel guests, creating unnecessary chaos. The parking garage is for small cars only and our rental SUV could not fit. It would be nice if they create a separate bike lane for the guests who use it so when cars entering and leaving the parking lot, it is safer for both the cars and the cyclists. One last thing, upon check out, it was pointed out hotel WiFi costs 8 Euro a night. One suggestion to the hotel: Don't list this! Or better yet waive the charge! It's 2022, not 2005!
The breakfast at the hotel is a German-style breakfast. If you want to eat Chinese food, you can go to Fussen Town, where there is a Chinese restaurant, but to be honest, there is a big parking lot on the side of the hotel to park, forgetting Do not charge, when leaving the store, the front desk staff will be very enthusiastic to send you the hotel's refrigerator to you, haha, there are photos of Neuschwanstein, there is no need to go to the scenic area to buy

Felsey is located at the crossroads of Füssen town centre to the north of the town. It takes less than 20 minutes to drag the suitcase from Füssen train station, and more than 10 minutes of foot speed can be reached. The hotel is not on the side of the road, so be sure to pay attention to the yellow tourist street sign, turn in from the indicated place, it will be almost arrived, there will be another street sign to continue to prompt. This hotel is a bit like the style of the hotel haus, not big but clean and exquisite, with a small courtyard, breakfast and dinner can be eaten in the restaurant, can also eat in the small courtyard, drink a small wine after dinner, very comfortable. The town of Fussen is really beautiful and quiet, especially in the area around Lake Forggen in the north. Although it is far away from the town center, it takes ten minutes to walk, but the people are really scarce, staying for three nights, if not going to the theater. There are very few people on the road, and almost no one who does not speak German has met. There are many elderly people living here. The front desk of the hotel and the waiter and sister are very enthusiastic. I have a question and answer. I ask for directions almost every day. They will talk very carefully and give a new map every time. I had a transfer bus cancelled at that time, and also called the bus company for me. I asked in detail how to change the ticket and how to refund the ticket. I also checked the train ticket schedule and let me catch up with the most suitable. A train, strong praise! As soon as the hotel enters, there is a surrounding tourist information wall, a description of the fare of the three attractions of Neuschwanstein, the cruise schedule of Lake Forggen, as well as discounted advertisements for the theater, etc. The road at the entrance looks out into the distant mountains. We can see Neuschwanstein, and the hotel should be able to see the room in this direction, like the feeling of living in a fairy tale. Go to the train station for ten minutes during the day, then take the 73 and 78 bus for ten minutes, go to the ticketing center of Neuschwanstein Castle, visit a set of three attractions (New, Goshen Castle, Bavarian King's Museum), sit in the afternoon Returning to Fussen by bus, I watched a story about the king of Neuschwanstein at the Festspielhaus on the shores of Lake Forggen in the evening. The tour of Neuschwanstein was completed and I watched the locals of various Kua Ludwig II. The feeling is full of pink fan filters 😂. When the summer is hot, walk from the back road of the hotel to the shore of Lake Forggen, and watch the pictures of the locals swimming under the red net of the world, the Neuschwanstein Castle.

GGuest UserVery nice room with beautiful scenery directly facing the lake, room facilities, balcony and private bathroom excellent. Swimming pool also good. Hotel staffs kind and supportive. One thing need to mention that room service is very difficult as no menu in the room and have to go the reception desk, which should walk long way from hotel, given that the restaurant at another end, if ordered, could be cold when sending to room.

DDaokenuoerThe Ludwig Hotel originally booked was notified by email two days before check-in that I had cancelled the order because of heavy snow and construction and recommended this hotel, so I booked it immediately. We arrived at the train station late that day. It was already 8 o'clock. The last bus to the hotel was gone. When the taxi was taken, the driver contacted the hotel directly in the middle to remind the hotel to prepare for us to check in. Hotel location is excellent. Going out is the horse station on Swan Castle. It is also the only restaurant in the local area where we have lunch. So the lunch is full. Fortunately, the Chinese are used to eating earlier. After we finished eating, we found that there was a long queue outside. The service was very good and we borrowed our umbrella. The room was very clean and tidy. The only thing I didn’t like was that the big bed room was made up of two small beds. But it seems that Europe is like this?
