Find the Cheap Oberhof Hotels

Wir waren nach ca. 8 Jahren wieder hier. Leider hat sich in dieser Zeit nicht viel zum Positiven geändert. Wir hatten ein Apartment gemietet. Es ist großzügig geschnitte, hat jedoch noch einen original DDR-Charme. Steckdosen, Wände, Deko... Die Schränke im Flur waren obenauf sehr verstaubt, im Wohnzimmer die Schrankwand ebenso. D.h. es ware erstmal putzen angesagt. Der Kühlschrank macht ein Geräusch wie ein Panzer - vielleicht war es einer im Miniformat. Einige BAlkongeländer sind dermaßen marode, dass man bereits vom Parkplatz aus sieht, dass sie bald abstürzen. Das Frühstücks- und Abendbuffett sind ok, jedoch nicht gerade abwechslungsreich oder geschmacklich anspruchsvoll. Naja, die Käche sollten vielleicht mal neuere Rezeptbücher studieren. Das Hotel ist ja immer sehr gut ausgebucht. sogar von Spitzensportlern zum Training auf den nahen Sprungschanzen, Langlaufhalle, etc. Da wundert es mich schon, dass man kein Personal zur Reinigung findet oder Ideen für die Speisekarte entwickeln kann. Die Bar war dagegen super! Das Personal weitestgehend nett - nur die Hotelmanagerin ist recht unwirsch und barsch. Wir kommen definitiv nun nicht wieder hierher. Insgesamt auch preislich total überpreist für diesen Service, Speisen und in die Jahre gekommene Zimmer.

Hard to know what exactly to say about the panorama hotel. It’s worn pretty much everywhere. Rooms are small and if you’re here in the summer time you’ll never escape the scorching heat as the windows only open slightly for safety reasons. There’s no ventilation in the bathrooms so if you do decide to use the pool, your swimwear will never dry. Our toilet was clogged and required service so we couldn’t use it for an hour and a half. Bit annoying staying on the 9th floor with two small kids and having to travel to the basement for toilet use. There are no mini fridges in the rooms which is also a bit annoying when it’s 34 degree Celsius The pool is hot - so don’t expect to cool off on a hot day. The pool changing areas are newly renovated and nice but also lacks ventilation. Restaurant is good - buffet is solid well made German food. The play areas are good but again hot, even if it’s only 20 degrees outside

The price-price ratio is unsatisfactory. The sofa in the room is very unprecedented and I think it was not useable. The bedroom was quiet and I had the impression that the mattress was not just on the ground but did not want to look at the cause. At breakfast buffet, cheese was at least from the day before, if not even older. That's not possible at all. Too expensive for the performance.

My stay Silvester 21/22, an experience I never wish any other guest! Respect absolute service Desert: no 4 * Classification expect, 1. Station and surroundings - quietly located and beautiful forest nearby, perfect for nature friends and point of start to discover the Th. Forest. 2. Hotel appearance and atmosphere - outdoor area ok , 20 years ago certainly still look beautiful. (But not in principle) atmosphere in the 90s style, few but lovely deco elements can be recognized. Hotel rooms: Suite booked, newly renovated furniture with beautiful wood elements, however wallpapers and hangs old and dirty. Bed with hair picked and bath dirty & dust, (unfortunately technology defect, can happen) Restaurant & Hall: also here in the 90s style, nostalgic who likes it. 3. Silverstergala appearance: , cold & no table deco , 5 gang menu covered and air balloon on the chair, would not be bad in a restaurant. (However for 99,€ incl. 5 gang menu - (was ok and has tasted, but with components that were not even on the map) Glass Sekt, DJ without moderation & function with dance ban (Corona however not communicated before) , Magician reminded me of Max Giermann Magic Show at LOL, (unfortunately the worst arrangement I've ever experienced- Silvester menu would have been the right name to adjust the expectations, Yes I like to pay €99 for an experience and good food, but that was not worth €50. 4. Wellness area and fitness room: beautiful swimming pool with views of the forest (my booking ground) and 2 saunas as well as functional but not lovely relaxing area. (unfortunately not available, at request at Check IN watches, 1 room/h for the entire wellness area Corona ) here would be sauna & swimming pool dividable due to the arrangement. Fitness room - 6 equipment from the 2000er 5. Service - absolute disaster , already at check in could not be made clear statements, at the table swallow - the server went down saying to the kitchen ( who come here and don't even know the dance ban is. (no I asked for the musical entertainment when booking and was pointed to change of band to DJ) a CD would have done it too. Rooms dirty - (reception no idea, look another- OK ). Old suite - yes bath clean but bed with hair- we can have new clothes - (no no housekeeping there) call - (tablet defect, you bring it down to me , I charge it, OK but then it still remains not loadable if......! Personal - dressing different and not representative( for a pension or kneipe -OK) service-oriented equal to zero, unknown and lack of communication, unfortunately believes something unmotivated by management. Hotel management respect and discrete , unfriendly , no guest-oriented behaviour , absolutely disastrous and lack of readiness to resolve (

Empfang sehr freundlich und zügig. Die Parkkarte wurde umgehend freigeschalten, zum ein und ausfahren nach Belieben. Der Tagespreis für die Garage von 6,90 € dürfte wohl okay sein. Zimmer mit einer Größe etwas über 30 Quadratmeter ordentlich groß und auch sauber. Badezimmer war ebenfalls groß. Klimaanlage war ebenfalls vorhanden. Die fehlende Minibar, welche wir zum kühlen Medikamenten benötigen, wurde durch den Kühlschrank auf dem Flur gut ersetzt. Des weiteren konnten dem Kühlschrank kostenfrei alkoholfreie Getränke entnommen werden. Frühstück war völlig okay. Wenn ein Gast ein besonderes Frühstück erwartet, dann sollte er sich ein dementsprechendes Hotel aussuchen. Wobei ich mir nix so richtig unter einem besonderen Frühstück vorstellen kann. Gibt halt auch besondere Gäste oder so. Unsererseits können wir das Hotel empfehlen. Übrigens, wer sich über den Zimmerpreis beklagt, sollte sich mal im Hotelgewerbe umschauen, dann wird er feststellen, dass sich sie Preise überall nach oben bewegt haben. Das ist nun mal so und man sollte seinen Frust nicht in die Bewertung einfließen lassen. Das hat so ein Hotel nicht verdient.

Before, after reading some reviews, I was skeptical. I was positively surprised. The many ”negative” points I could not see. The rooms were all clean, the wet rooms perfectly, breakfast super (which was a little delayed by a large group in the early morning, was due to the circumstances and the staff The staff was friendly and pre-eminent, and there was no problem with 22.00-Uhr-Feierabend-Regelung(!), perhaps it's like that: as you cry in the forest, it sounds back. As I said, we were all happy and are definitely a funny bunch!

A lovely hotel. All the staff we met were extremely friendly and professional. I don't speak any German (typical British person!) but most of the staff spoke some English. I had an excellent sleep on a very comfortable bed. The food in the restaurant was excellent, but they do not have English menus, so Google translate came in very handy! Large, safe car park at the back of the hotel. Ignore the old reviews, this place is wunderbar!

Hallo und Guten Tag, ich war im September 2024 mit meiner Familie zum Mittagessenim Restaurant diese Hotels.Die Jahre zuvor waren wir oft Gast diese Hotels und waren immer sehr zufrieden. Was ist jetztz passiert? Wir werden diese Einrichtung definitiv nicht mehr nutzen. Ich fühlte mich mit meiner Familie aufs äusserste beleidigt.Das Essen war grauenhaft und nicht vereinbart mit diesen Preisen,die sind nach wie vor gut geblieben.Wir haben uns schon gewundert.da es am Sonntag zum Mittag so leer war?Jetzt wissen wir es,anderen Gästen ist dieses auch aufgefallen,das das Niveau sehr sark gesunken ist. Das fängt bei der Bedienung an und hört bei den Speisen auf.Ich hatte Wild,das Fleisch war ausgelau ht,geschmacklos.Die Sosse paßte dazu,hell und ohne Geschmack.Da war ich anderes gewohnt.Das Schnitzel ,grauenhaft. Der Koch,wenn es denn einer war,ist erbärmlich. Kurzum,die Rechnung aber ließ uns erzürnen.En stolzer trotz grottenschlechtes Essen. Dieses Lokal wird von uns gemieden,aufgrung der Leere im Restaurant ist uns jetzt auch klar,andere Gästen hatten das wohl schon vor uns gemerkt,schade. Bis dato war die Küche hervorragend,jetzt aber...... Ein enttäuschter Gast I
