On the food card, almost all meat meat dishes from homepage were no longer listed or not available. Obviously, the wild meat offer should be forced. Eat 1 tail with potato nuts: meat sewn and nuts hard, pears cold, salad without dressing Eat 2 tail breast was very dry, but rosti good food 3 pasto with pesto simply unimaginable and flavorless. Can't be evaluated at all. Ambient: the outdoor was not closed and no one was responsible for it. So cold and trained.

Stayed here for two nights on business. The room is huge and immaculately clean. There is a mini bar should you need it with soft drinks, wine and beer. All reasonably priced. Breakfast is bacon, scrambled eggs plus selection of meats, cheese and cereal. No fresh fruit though which I was hoping for. The restaurant evening meals are outstanding. I haven't had that quality of food for a long time. Simply superb. There is ample free parking but I did get stuck waiting for the nearby traffic lights to change in order to exit the car park. Not a huge issue but worth mentioning. I stayed on the second floor accessed by a winding staircase. No lift. This is a great hotel and I certainly visit again if I'm working nearby. I had the last room when I booked so book early to avoid disappointment.

Here you cook without additives and bindings, all yourself and freshly prepared and not crushed with TK products or bag cleaners, it is served at the point and not overgrown. Love for food and passion to make the guest happy, you taste and look around his like. This input in the kitchen is not obvious and ensures that it is different in Burgdorf's hold. After the four walks, we rounded the dinner with the excellent herbal liqueur 'Herb Rudel' and went over to a relaxed evening with delicious rum of the brand 'Cocorange'. As a guam smash there was: - pre-food sheep cheese with cubic kernels and oil, wild herb salad and roast bread, smoked antenna with potato pumping nickel and caramelized grapes - intermittent cream soup of smoked pastinace with chips from Cartoffel & Pancetta - main corridor Breast and Kelly of Oldenburger Ente and Steak of Roastbeef with pepper sauce, pepper beans and potato gratin - Nightingale fresh baked apple strudel filled with roasted almonds, Crown beans and Marzipan on Vanille sauce Drinks: Cocorange Rum is a premium Rum from the Caribbean, stored in a bacon of eggwood and refined with fresh cocoa nuts and orange shells and is beautifully presented with great cocoa note and soft sweet fruits. The orange noodle and decent wooden noodles round the flavour. For long, you taste the cocoa noodle still in your mouth. Hirsch Rudel is a great herbal liqueur made of 31 wild herbs and hanged. The deep brown liquor has nuances of coffee, anis, caramel and chocolate. Vanilla, a malt sweet and cheesenuts are also tasteful. The service is similar to the food and can only be described as excellent. The interior was completely renewed this year and the restoration is radiated in a new and very skillful glance. 5 out of 5 points here are a must.

I had a horrific experience in this hotel and the way the manager (owner?) handled it, ended up being a Masterclass in horrible hospitality. She was rude, incredibly arrogant and overall showing a complete lack of empathy. My five year old daughter was accidentally hit on her back by the top of an old long-case clock they have standing next to the reception. The top part of the clock fell down on her as it was apparently standing unattached, when she tried to open the door of the clock to look inside. Because of this incident I needed to head off to the emergency room and have her checked in two different hospitals, totally ruining our evening and the start of the following day. Luckily she had only been hit on her back and was OK. The next morning I spoke to the manager, who surprised me rather unpleasantly by blaming me for not looking after my daughter and that the old clock was not a toy. The hotel refused to accept any kind of responsibility. Never mind the fact that my daughter wasn't playing with the clock at all (which was confirmed by the evening receptionist), but merely wanted to look inside it. Never mind that the clock was right next to the reception where the staff are constantly present and they could have asked her not to touch the clock OR have had a sign on it OR even better had made sure everything was fixed to the wall and safe. When I stressed that this could have been a very serious accident the manager had the audacity to laugh in my face and repeat her inappropriate behaviour several times and it made me absolutely furious. A small child had been injured on their premises in what could have been an extremely serious accident and it never occurred to them to even apologies or offer ANY kind of compensation, such as buying her a teddy-bear, offering us a gift card for an overnight stay or SOMETHING, which would have smoothed this whole thing out and made it a good stay. Instead I was met with blame, arrogance and unbelievable rudeness from this manager, who clearly doesn't understand the first thing about customer service and guest satisfaction. Warm regards to the rest of the staff who were helpful and kind, but a place who in their wildest dreams would speak to a guest and act the way this manager did towards me shows its true colors...

I think it is also important to highlight positive. We were eating with the whole family with 8 people plus a little child. It's always the little things that are important and surprised. A “beer” apple juice with milk sham in 0.1 beer glass for the junior was just the hit! Absolutely great- five stars of five! In addition to the great food we wanted to highlight the service, although the restaurant was full of occupation, all the food came in a reasonable time. The service staff were very careful and had the overview at any time. We know that this quality doesn't come overnight, but very much heart blood is needed from all. Great team.

The train station and Oldenburg city centre are a few minutes walk, the Cinemaxx is also just around the corner. Since the house offers meeting rooms, the 28 hotel parking spaces are also quickly located over the day. A nearby parking house offers possibilities of avoidance. In Hermes Hotel, every*r has a smile on his lips, from reception to cleaning forces. My lightning clean single room with Queensize bed is convenient and modern furnished. Instead of minibar, there are two well-filled refrigerators with soft drinks and beer on the floor. The safe has room for very short stays. The desk is sufficiently dimensioned and equipped with 3 packs. The TV offers a good channel selection in best image quality, but no radio channels. The house is apparently in a Vodafone / O2-Funkloch, but the home-with WiFi is stable and allowed streaming. The bathroom offers sufficient landscape and is convinced with WalkIn rain shower. Guests with hairdress should, as so often, bring their own furnace. Breakfast buffet is rich and worthy. Butter is presented in small single glasses, there are coffee specialities from the full-automated. The complete absence of music beries is a good and delaying thing.
