Find the Cheap Burrweiler Hotels

I feel obligated to write this review, as I still get upset when I think of how we were treated at Villa Delange about a week ago. My husband and I are both in our forties and never ever had anyone spoken to us before in such an arrogant, condescending and even agressive tone, without listening to a word we said. Our stay actually started out positive: nice big room, in a beautiful building. Okay, the refridgerator in the room did not work (which meant we had to throw away some stuff that we brought for our further travel), but we could live with that. The atmosphere already changed a little bit when the owner came knocking on our door to tell us that we would need to pay extra for the breakfast of our two children. We didn't understand, as our booking literally said: ”Superior Familiensuite 2 / Standardrate Viererbelegung mit Frühstück”. But the lady told us that the automatic billing that was done online had only included breakfast for two people, and that we would be able to read about that rule online, on their website, as well as in our booking. The extra amount would be charged the next day, upon check-out. Since we truly couldn't find the aforementioned information on their website (and we don't like paying double), we decided to ask again the next day. On that next morning, we first went for breakfast, and that is when it all started to go wrong. Although we had mentioned in our booking ànd discussed with the owner the previous day that our youngest son has a severe egg allergy, no one could tell us anything about the ingredients of the various items at the breakfast buffet. We were told that he could eat the white bread, but that was it. Since this bread was in a basket intermixed with other bread, we decided to not take the risk and get our own bread from the car and give him that. We asked for the package of the cheese to read the ingredients ourselves, but there were no ingredients listed. So in the end he just had a glass of water from the breakfast buffet. When checking out, we went to the reception and wanted to ask two things: (1) if they could show us on the website where it was mentioned that we didn't pay for the kids' breakfast yet, (2) if we really had to pay for the breakfast of our yongest son (in case we hadn't already done so), since he hadn't eaten anything. If someone would have showed us where the information was, it would actually all have been fine. We would even have understood if we still needed to pay for our youngest son's breakfast. We are reasonable people; we just wanted to enter the conversation. But what happened instead was totally crazy. Since the person who was manning the reception desk did not speak English, she called a colleague and we were asked to talk to her on the phone. When it came to the first point, we were simply ordered to pay. She said it was somewhere on the website and we just needed to take her word for it. All quite anonymous, which didn't bother me. I was able to get the key from a box locked with a pin (I was told by phone). First impression was okay. Clean bed and towels, spacious private bathroom. It took forever until warm water came. The heating wasn't that warm either. Breakfast was prepared in the existing refrigerator and there was also a Senseo coffee pad machine. If you look at it a little meticulously, the spiders and webs could be vacuumed away. Windows need to be cleaned. Toilet was clean. Modern furnished. I had room 2 with a view of the inner courtyard. You can park in front of the accommodation. It was ok and I'll definitely come back for one night.

Since my first visit at the end of 2019, I have been servicely travelling several times in this hotel for night. Now for the first time in private to actually use the many facilities. The rooms were not ready for arrival as expected, so we parked the bag on the reception and started our first walk. In time to coffee and cake at 16:00 we were back. Due to the situation, there are the bread time or the three different cakes this day only by service. We could take the coffee at the full-automate itself. The hotel seems to have been booked. There are also apartments and the adjacent landmarks, as well as the possibility of car parking. Therefore, the parking was full daily and no chance to a place when you came back after a tour. Thus the green stripe had to keep here. The parking space for e-vehicles was blocked by a local without e-vehicle for two days. Breakfast was very good as expected and as I remembered. Only this time I could enjoy it in full length because I had no time pressure. The service was very nice and asked if we were already talked about an egg food. The gloves mentioned here were found under the coffee cup. Unfortunately, the notice leaf with the explanations was missing on the first day. This was not found until the next day on our table, for which the gloves were missing. It is not surprising that one or other guest first moved away without the overlayer. Unfortunately, there is no longer the Nespresso business machine in the forefront that could produce my preferred strong coffee. The offer of cheese varieties, sausage, or S****** and fruit is insufficient. There were even chirries and fresh figs. Many are obtained by regional producers such as fresh seeds and bread or also the confectionery and gelatine as well as honey. The egg food is prepared a la minute with fresh eggs from the nearby poultry farm in front of the guests. For wine tasting we have not managed, perhaps next time. The service at night still differs from the morning staff. We took another wine to us at the end of the day near the reception and felt not really welcome. Maybe it was because most guests were already disappeared at 21:00.

Schönes Gästezimmer mit eigenem Bad in einer zur Gästewohnung umgerichteten Erdgeschosswohnung. Frisch renoviert. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Sehr schönes Bad. Kaffeemaschine und Wasserkocher mit Tee und Kaffee im Zimmer. Eine separate Küche mit Kochmöglichkeit und Kaffeemaschine kann mitbenutzt werden. Durch die Küche gelangt man auf einen kleinen gemütlichen Balkon mit Morgensonne, der ebenfalls genutzt werden kann. Sehr netter persönlicher Empfang. Wenn wir wieder in Landau Station machen, dann gerne wieder hier.
