After a night at the worst hotel in Paphos we found the CSG and after an early morning call they sent a taxi to rescue us and we were in the lobby with a cold drink and a warm welcome within an hour. The pool area is lovely and no shortage of beds towels anything you might need . After a restorative cosmopolitan and some sliders everything felt better. Our rooms were very luxurious and had everything you could want. Robes and products all lovely. Feedback from us would be that the blackout curtains don’t quite block out the gorgeous sunrise but that on the room front was all. The gym opens from 8 and 7 would have been ideal as we were up early with the sun but otherwise it was fully stocked and a really great gym . We didn’t make it to the spa as felt very treated as we’re were but it looked great and the staff were helpful and friendly. Breakfasts were a real treat everything you could possibly want and the staff were all utterly fantastic . Couldn’t rate having a better breakfast anywhere we have stayed . Restaurants were lovely kohili and bonsai were the best and the manager and staff were busy but very attentive. We would have liked another choice maybe a steak place but that’s just a tiny thing. Where the restaurants are located the kitchens cooking must be satalite as sometimes the wait was long so with kids they got bored but once we got used to ordering there food to come first it was all great. Consistency would be the only feedback we didn’t get water refreshed in rooms everyday so maybe a water fountain would be good as we both drink 4 litres each a day. Sliders were different at the pool and kohili so as you know with kids this can be a challenge but really wasn’t a huge problem once we knew. Sometimes the pool staff served very quick but sometimes same had long waits for the order to be taken but really we could just get up and order at the bar so again not an issue just inconsistent. The cocktail night with managers was a nice touch but we stumbled across is as we didn’t turn on the tv so didn’t get the message but was a lovely touch. We travel a lot high with kids and just us and we would like to come back again as it really had everything we wanted and we look forward to seeing how the resort grows and coming back again. Very honest 5 star review
Would give 0 if I could. I stayed here from 20th August 2024 until 17th September 2024 in a studio. Upon arrival I noticed the images on the website are older and the hotel was not in the best condition, however, with the cheap prices this is to be expected. The pool bar was also closed the entire duration of my stay. My air-conditioning did turn on however barely made a difference, not falling below 27°C the entire first week. I did not tell the reception at first as I assumed that, like everything else in this hotel, it was just old and in need of replacement and all rooms would be the same. There were a few minor problems (electric cut out etc.) and one of the men from reception came up to fix the fuse, I mentioned the A.C and he told me this was not normal and would have somebody come to look at it. After a few days nobody had came to check it so I went back down to reception, where I was told someone would be sent in the morning. The next afternoon, someone came to look at it, for about 1 second and said he would send someone else to fix it, then left. A couple of days later I went to stay a couple of nights Limassol (a different city), upon my return the air conditioning was still not working properly. Now 2 weeks after I was first told it would be fixed, I went and asked the manager, she send 2 people straight away and they fixed it within seconds. Considering it was such an easy fix and the maintenance people had been around my entire stay so far, I was wondering why it took 2 weeks and me speaking to 4 different people for someone to actually fix it (3 weeks into my 4 week stay). While on the way from reception to my room with a maintenance lady stopped, pulled a plaster off her foot and threw it on the floor less than a metre away from a bin (photo attached). Firstly, this is disgusting in anyway, however, right in front of a guest just shows the lack of respect for hygiene from staff in this hotel. A week later, this plaster was still there on the floor (also attached). One evening I saw a mouse running round in my room (photo attached), although I’m sure good hygiene would help, I understand they are small and can get in through small spaces. However, I am seriously unhappy with how this situation was dealt with, or should I say not dealt with. I went down to reception and told the man, to which he shrugged his shoulders and said “there’s nothing I can do”. I clearly was unhappy with this response so he elaborated saying “we’re fully booked and I’m the only person working, so I can’t help you, it’s not a lion, you can leave it until tomorrow”. This response is not only rude, but unacceptable and lazy, it is the hotel’s responsibility to sort this out and not expect a guest to cook, eat and sleep in a room with a mouse running around. The mouse could have diseases, excrete and urinate in my room, as well as chew and damage my things. I went back and asked if he could at lease get a broom or something to shoo it out onto the balcony,

The overall impression is positive. Very convenient location, especially for those on the car: there is a parking, it is right on the big road. Inside there is a restaurant. We have a three-bedroom room paid for the ball, but no breakfast on Saturday and Sunday, as the cafe doesn't work, so we asked for a change instead of reimbursement. The room is clean, but furniture and repairs already require upgrades. The room has a stove, a teapot, a refrigerator, air conditioners working for heat. To the sea by car 5 minutes. The pool is clean but no one was swimming in it in the winter. On the other hand, several cafes and shops where you can buy food and cook in the room. Neighbours were a little noisy as they drank a lot and had fun, noise in rooms is bad.
However, the rooms themselves are large enough . We had a combined room with a living room and one bedroom. Plus there was a beautiful balcony with a chic view.

I wish to review the main buffet restaurant. We have been to this hotel four times now and in our opinion this is the best all inclusive restaurant for variation and quality. All the staff are very efficient and friendly. The chefs ensure the food is topped up constantly. We particularly appreciate that the head chef Antonis engages every day with his customers to ensure they are happy with the food and service. He even brought my husband some blue cheese out for his cheese and biscuits as he mentioned he preferred it. Fantastic service. We hope to visit again in the future.

This is my second visit in the year,(February 2024 and many times before),the maestro of this orchestra continues to be the same good and even better. So friendly staff, from my telephone contact with the reservation, Angela,so friendly and professional. The room I have received in the top floor of the mains building, straight away a seaview from your bed, veranda and hearing the sound of the waves of the sea.(Many thanks Dear Angela and the rest staff for the whole arrangement for my special event). We were Half-board. What to say about the breakfast and Dinner. Amazing food, such a big and quality variety of food. Fresh pancakes,no greasy food, theme nights, fresh soup, beginning your festive meal and desserts(I believe in a fully booked hotel the only Cypriots enjoying my lovely Cyprus Machalepi with rosewater, not a better way to finish your dinner). Value for money Hotel, even the Indian jasmine flower, the garden of the hotel is full of this plant, having them in your room every day, this beautiful smell adds on in the whole value and atmosphere that this hotel is giving you.

Helios Bay is fantastic value for a 3 star hotel. Conveniently located between Paphos and Coral Bay. We arrived quite late in the evening and were greeted by a really helpful, friendly receptionist. He showed us to room 109 which I would highly recommend. It is on the ground floor, approx 10 steps from the pool and has a small terrace to sit outside with lovely views over tge gardens to the sea. The room itself consists of a small kitchenette, with most things you need for self-catering, a spacious living area with TV, a bedroom with comfortable double bed and access to the small terrace and a bathroom with fair sized shower and bath. Everything was spotless when we arrived. As other reviews indicate, this hotel is a truly relaxing experience. Lovely pool area with more than enough sun loungers for everyone. Nice pool bar with snacks available. All staff we encountered were friendly and helpful. One very minor complaint. Charging 8.5 Euros for the key to use the safe box is unnecessary. This is a bugbear of mine at any hotel. Safe boxes should be free to use in every hotel. However this will definitely not put me off staying at Helios Bay again. We will be back !
