HHUANGganggangIt's the fifth day in Banna. Today I live in a suite with two rooms, twin beds, two bathrooms, and a large living room. The room is really huge. Both windows have a view of the Lancang River. The view is unbeatable. The room is fully intelligent and well-equipped. There is even a separate washing machine in the room. Generally, there is a public laundry room. This design is really nice. There is also a buffet breakfast in the morning with many varieties. I had a bowl of hot rice noodles and felt warm. The location is very good. There are very busy streets downstairs. If you are a family of three, it is a good choice.

亚亚当The BaiMa (White Horse) Hotel is on the 9th floor of a beautifully designed building. It has a tea drinking area at the elevators. The whole hotel, including in the rooms, has pictures of what I think is an expedition race the owner took part in -- but it's not overdone. The location is perfect, right on the center west of the new north-side of downtown JingHong (main tourist area). Right beside the night market. Delicious food found at the restaurants nearby. Corner store (with decent wine) downstairs. Motorcycle and scooter rental down the street in front of the hotel. The best views of the Mekong!
The room was big, spacious, and postmodern (contemporary) in decor -- very comfortable and still having personality, not just a ”white room” as so many hotels are styling themselves as, these days. There is even a small fridge and a full-sized washing machine! The bathtub on the balcony was very romantic. The cost was worth it, compared to more expensive rooms in other hotels.
The staff was beyond helpful, first by allowing me to choose which room I would have, and second, by helping me order flowers and food to my room. They even brought us free chopped fruit. They had cleaned my room during the day when I went out, even changing the bedsheets when they noticed the sheets were dirty.... +++
The only negatives I can think of is that the AC does not make the room cold enough for a spoiled Westerner like me (but most people won't have a problem with that), and the tub on the balcony is still missing it's fixtures. Oh, and the pictures of the racers above the bed was a bit strange. Of course, I wish it was cheaper, but actually the price is probably fair considering the cost of other hotels and how well done this hotel is.
Overall, a beautiful and excellent hotel, and I highly recommend it.

GGuest UserPerfect location for a relaxing couple of days. Room on first night (queen bed terrace) was great with fabulous views. Frog was found in the bathroom but hotel staff quick to remove. Second night (queen bed outdoor bathtub) was worth the extra money for a much larger room which was a great location to have our friends over for games in the evening as the previous night outside was a bit chilly! Bath was great although more privacy is needed as only a small bit of rattan around it. Pool was open but too cold to swim, can imagine it’s great in the summer. During the day when sat round the pool, bit noisy as some building work was going on. Restaurant nearby was great. A highlight of the trip was being taken on walks by the owners dog. All staff members were friendly and attentive. Have already recommended to friends.

RRenata Doria MiguelThe hotel is great , on the same complex as Crown Plaza Hotel. Although staff didn’t speak English ( what we were expecting for this kind of hotel ), they were always willing to help ( using phone translator ). We couldn’t ordered food through the phone ( room service did not speak English ) and for being and international hotel , this should be improved. Besides that , great great great for family ! Playground for kids all over the hotel , indoor pool ( when days are raining or not colder ) and nice structure.

Staff is very friendly and helpful.
Moreover, the location is just perfect. You are in walkable distance to the night market and surrounded by buzzing atmosphere.

RRahel20The hotel is located a bit out of Xishuangbanna but surrounded by nature. Very helpful and nice stuff. There is a shuttle bus for different attractions like the night market to use for free. Also air port shuttle is provided.
Unfortenately the outdoor pool was not usable as they were cleaning it while being here but there is an indoor pool and a gym to use. The breakfast was good. We‘ve booked the executive package which was a bit disappointing as the main food contained of Chinese dishes and barely Western food as we thought might be different in such an international hotel of this category. The hotel seems a bit old but that didn‘t bother us.

GGuest UserI was on a business trip and booked it with the attitude of giving it a try. I didn't expect the hotel's service to be very good. The hotel is located next to the Peacock Tower, so it's very convenient to take a taxi. The hotel's laundry room and gym are open all day, and there is a swimming pool and sky garden on the roof. There is also a coffee machine in the room, so you can drink coffee when you are tired. The breakfast was also very rich, and they thoughtfully gave me mouthwash. I will come to their home next time I am on a business trip.
