Find the Cheap Xining Hotels

We are travelling through Gansu & Sichuan and I booked the Mercure as a couple of nights for my husbands birthday. The first room we got was OK, a little shabby and not the cleanest but a nice bed and sofa and the aircon seemed good. My husband took a shower for all of 30 seconds and the bathroom, corridor and toilet completely flooded. So we moved rooms. The next room didn't flood but the aircon was pretty feeble and the toilet cubicle smelled. We didn't complain, having already moved once. This room was an over all improvement. The breakfast was pretty miserable, no coffee and mostly Chinese dishes. I had expected more from a western brand but nevermind, we ordered coffee and food to the room. Plus points - The staff are very nice and friendly, they accommodated us on the new room and gave us some treats as an apology. The bus to Kumbum Monastery is directly across from the hotel and you can arrive there in 45 mins, public bus number 909, 4¥. Starts at 6:30am. The breakfast is OK. There is a free laundry room, we did lots of laundry and it dried over night. We stayed in a non smoking room and it really was non smoking which is rare for China. It smelt fresh and the bedding and towels did not smell of smoke. There were however people smoking everywhere else in the hotel which seems quite common expecially in this province. Overall, I would stay here again but I think the price is a little high for the offering in comparison to some Chinese brands in the city.

The dry fried beef river is authentic and delicious. The dishes here are exquisite, the service is intimate, and the environment is elegant, which makes you feel good. I praise the receptionist He Wei for his meticulous service to the guests. I praise Song Xin for caring about my stay experience and praise every employee who has served me. The transportation is convenient, the heating is quite warm, and it feels very cozy to live here. It is a good experience, I will come again next time!

I am writing to express my disappointment with the unprofessional conduct of two male front desk staff members I encountered during my recent stay at this hotel. I approached the front desk to inquire about to extend my stay. The two staff members I interacted with were both rude and dismissive, speaking to me without making eye contact and answering in a very loud voice. Their behavior was unprofessional and made me feel unwelcome. I understand that front desk staff members are often busy, but there is no excuse for treating guests with disrespect. I would appreciate it if you would address this matter with the staff members in question and ensure that all your employees are trained to provide excellent customer service. I hope that my experience will be addressed and that future guests will not encounter the same issues.

The hotel is right next to Tongmeng Paradise. It is now off-season and there are fewer people. It is very quiet to live. The parent-child room is very suitable for bringing children to experience, and the theme is well arranged. The room is also very large. The whole room was clean and tidy, and the bed was very comfortable to sleep. High and low beds are estimated to be more popular with children if they are equipped with slides. Outside the balcony is the hotel's water park. But it's too cold to experience. Hotel breakfast may not be a lot because there are fewer people, but the taste and quality are not bad.
