The room was great! ! ! I would like to recommend this hotel to everyone who comes to Jiuzhaigou. It is a newly opened hotel with clean sanitary environment, suitable floor heating temperature, good room decoration style, and the owner has great aesthetics. I am really satisfied with booking a room of this quality in western Sichuan, and it is spacious. The curtain is a snow mountain, but there was no sun that day and the snow mountain top could not be seen. Anyway, I was satisfied!

Arrive in Songpan on the afternoon of October 27 and stay at SILKROAD HOTEL. It was cold in Songpan, and I heard that Prime Minister Keqiang had passed away due to illness, and I felt heavy. When I checked in at the hotel, the front desk manager Zhou was very enthusiastic. He arranged a room and upgraded it to a deluxe standard room. Due to the cold weather, it was also equipped with an electric heater. Thank you very much. The room's sanitary ware and bedding are clean, and parking is convenient. This is our second time staying at this hotel. Worth choosing.

A small house in the forest, surrounded by a moss forest, you can go on a light hiking forest adventure with your children. You can see yaks, black pigs and horses grazing everywhere, which gives you a sense of jungle life. The cabin feels like a fairy tale, but the bathroom facilities are not ideal. It is very humid in the rainy season, which is a disadvantage. The B&B is located on the other side of the Huanglong Scenic Area. According to Tibetans, you can reach the Huanglong Scenic Area by climbing over the mountain on the side. It rained continuously so I couldn't try it. The altitude is still relatively high, 3200 meters. Another thing is that it takes more than 3 hours to go to Huanglong and more than 4 hours to go to Jiuzhaigou. It is very time-consuming. If you want to visit Jiuzhaigou, I do not recommend staying here. The last and most important thing is that the mountain road into the B&B is under construction. The only mountain road in and out is in very poor condition. If you want to go, communicate with the B&B about the road conditions in advance. Do not enter unless it is off-road.

From the outside appearance, this hotel looks like a typical hotel with nothing out of the ordinary, but the room is spacious. The floor is heated at night so it felt quite warm and cozy. The bed is also heated so it was comfortable. At first, I found it odd that there was no television, but it turns out that they use projector instead, which is fun and cool, although with less definition. They also provided standard Chinese breakfast. The location is great as it is in the town of Chuanzhusi, with many local restaurants nearby. I recommend walking a bit to the town square with a very cool name, the Incorruptible Square, next to a river.

I revisited Songpan 20 years later and it was the same high altitude at night. Maybe the magnetic field here is not suitable for me. Ali went to Tibet many times, walked around mountains and mountains... and never got high. Amazing Songpan! I took my 70-year-old parents on a self-guided tour of Western Sichuan, leaving Huanglong Scenic Area and heading directly to Songpan (Huanglong is covered with ice and snow, but there is no snow in Songpan). The hotel is in a very good location, just outside the ancient city wall of Songzhou. It is free to climb the city wall in the off-season, and there are many restaurants in the ancient city. The lights for night tours are also very beautiful, making it a suitable stop for a trip. There were not many guests in the off-season, so the room I chose had a good view and had a balcony. Unfortunately, the balcony door could not be closed and no one was called to repair it. Because there were no windows, it was better to leave a slit for ventilation when sleeping at high altitude. The room is quite clean, the bathroom is well separated from wet and dry areas, and the bed in the twin room can sleep two adults. recommend!

I booked a room with two double beds, but I felt the bed was on the small side. The room has floor heating and a heater, which is very comfortable in winter. The hotel is located at a higher altitude, which is very suitable for tourists who need to go to higher altitude attractions the next day. It can adapt to the high altitude in advance. There are also oxygen plugs in the room, but You need to pay. I called the front desk and asked about the price. $36 RMB can provide oxygen for a whole day, but you have to pay first before the oxygen is supplied, and each room can only supply oxygen to one passenger. But don’t worry if you encounter altitude sickness, because there is a hospital next to the hotel. I hope you don’t need to use this service🫢The bathroom is designed with dry and wet separation, and the bathroom and toilet also have floor heating, which is thoughtfully designed. The day we went was New Year's Eve, and the nearby village also set off fireworks. The picture in the hotel advertisement shows a view of snowy mountains, but in addition to the snowy mountain view, the hotel room also has another side facing the large truck parking lot 😂 Overall, this hotel is considered a quite high-end hotel in the area. It feels comfortable to stay there. Travelers suffering from altitude sickness feel more at ease because there is oxygen at their fingertips and the geographical advantage of being close to a hospital.

The hotel is nice and the parking lot is spacious. The transportation is convenient, and it is very convenient to go to Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. The most important thing is that the summer temperature here is too comfortable, recommended!

Excellent service had been given by in taking care of customers’ needs. Mr Lee helped us to book taxi for our early morning train. The front desk receptionist was friendly and helpful when we needed local adaptor for my mobile phone charging. A Welcome ******* Tea was given to us free at the lounge. Free snack pack which included panchos was provided free for our tour at Huanglong and Jiuzhaigou. All these thoughtful things had made our stay with extra enjoyment.

The hotel is new! It’s very comfortable and the services from the front desk is excellent. Especially the staff named “桌玛“. She took the initiative to upgrade our room as it’s a non peak period now. Provided use with breakfast too. Ultimately, the hotel is well located in the ancient city, providing a unique experience. With the cleanliness and comfort provided, this hotel justifies one of the best choice in this city. Highly recommended.

Location wise is very good, directly opposite a supermarket. Clean and impressive, however there is no lift so walking upstairs was tiring for us. Washing machine took very long to complete and hard to operate (all in Chinese as well), so our clothes were still damp the next morning. Unlike other hotels with 24 hours room service, this is a family owned business so it was hard for us to look for someone to attend our problem although it was somewhere before 23:00. There is no internal phone inside the rooms for us to call the office downstairs.
