During the Chinese New Year, I was going to the Pingxingguan ruins and chose this Pingxingguan hotel! Good location, the hotel is big! Can park! We arrived late and had a dinner at the hotel! I enjoyed my stay at this hotel. There is quite a bit to see around Lingqiu, and I should have stayed one extra night or two. Miss Liu (刘小姐), the front receptionist, was extremely helpful, even going all the way to accompany me to the bus stop to catch the bus heading to the Pingxingguan Battle site. Miss Liu also assisted with booking a cab for my visit to the Jueshan Pagoda. This famous Pagoda was founded before England was established by William the Conqueror (if I am wrong, then pardon me, but the Pagoda was built sometime before 1077 A.D. during the Northern Wei Dynasty). Miss Liu also directed me to the gravesite of King Wu of the Northern Wei Dynasty which is right in downtown Lingqiu.
There are numerous restaurants within walking distance of this hotel. One restaurant, next door to the right of the hotel, serves a wondering braised fish; the other a few doors away, sells delicious meat pies.
My room was professionally cleaned and serviced daily.
The hotel even allows me to doze off on the reception floor sofa to await my night train to Beijing.
I will return to this hotel if I return to Lingqiu.

This experience of staying at the Hanting Hotel Lingqiu really surprised me. From the moment I stepped into the hotel lobby, I was attracted by its elegant design and comfortable environment. The front desk lady was warm and welcoming, the check-in procedure was quick and efficient, and she also intimately introduced us to the surrounding food and attractions, which made people feel very kind. I really went home, the family greeted me warmly, the layout of the room was even more satisfactory to me, the room was fully equipped, clean and tidy, so that I could wash away the fatigue of the journey every day. The hotel also provides a rich breakfast choice, whether it is Chinese or local, it makes people have a great appetite.
