Outstanding
SSylviaThe hospitality at Mona hotel is the best we have experienced throughout our trip in Europe, the room has great view and clean. The free mini bar and breakfast was great! We had so much fun with the bike rental hotel provides. The only downside may be the design of the toilet shower is not quite user friendly and they could add more lights in the room. We enjoyed our stay and would return again.
GGuest UserI am very happy to stay at this Autograph Collection Hotel in Montreux, which is just opposite the Montreux train station and across the street. The hotel facilities and services are first-class. It is the best value for money hotel on our trip. The hotel room has a small balcony to enjoy the lake view. Everyone should try to book a lake view room. The sunset is amazing! The breakfast is very rich and is of domestic and international five-star standard. The hotel toiletries are all L'Occitane. A deposit of 200 Swiss francs will be collected at check-in and will be returned after check-out.
ZZherThe stay was not up to my expectations. The view from the dorm is blocked by the train track and can get quite noisy occasionally. Although the hostel is walking distance away from the bus station, but there is a slope and stairs to climb to reach the hostel. Other than that, overall was okay, it is similar to the other hostel of the company . Just that the light in the shower turns off every 10mins and it becomes completely dark and I have to try to find the switch to turn it on again, as well as the water, you'll have to keep pressing it every 10 seconds if not it will just stop. Do note that the basin, toilet and shower are separated. It was a comfortable stay for a night before heading to Geneva the next morning, breakfast served was okay.
YYun12345I stayed in 10 hotels during my trip to Switzerland, but this was the only one I had a bad experience with. The main problem was the front desk service. We booked a triple room, but we were given a double bed room. We negotiated with the front desk three times. The first time, they said they would handle it and asked me to wait. After waiting for a long time, no one handled it. The second time, they said they would separate the beds, but it was still not handled. The third time, they said they had a sofa bed (actually they didn't), and asked when it would be handled. The front desk said they didn't know 🤷. Later, the room attendant finally came to separate the beds and helped us add a folding bed. The front desk service is not worthy of a five-star hotel.
Other restaurants and environments are good.
HHTLocation is very good, it is by the esplanade and near the main street. Our lake-facing room has a balcony and we enjoyed the relaxing view very much. The room is big for our family of 3 adults. The only feedback I would like to give is to have kettle and complimentary coffee/tea provided which is now a standard in all hotels. In our case we had to ask for a kettle. The staff at the reception are very friendly; we have good advice on where to visit, and they have been helpful in booking for us a taxi.
LlcaifiberThe room size is in line with the description, the ceiling is quite high, and it feels good.
The bathroom is newly renovated, clean, and not small.
The room has been repainted, and the carpet has been replaced and is very clean.
The doors and windows have not been replaced, and the old hardware is okay, but it can't be repaired.
Toothbrushes and slippers are not provided.
The restaurant has a rich menu and is open on weekends, so you don't have to worry about food and drink.
In general, the price-performance ratio is good.
GGuest UserMy stay at The Freddie Mercury Hotel was a unique and enjoyable experience! The hotel exudes character, with its vibrant decor and nods to the iconic musician, creating a fun and memorable atmosphere. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and thoughtfully designed, blending modern amenities with artistic flair. The staff were friendly and accommodating, ensuring a smooth and pleasant stay. The location was convenient, making it easy to explore the surrounding area. Overall, a great choice for fans of Freddie Mercury or anyone looking for a stylish and distinctive place to stay!
ZzhangyansweetThe transportation is very convenient. You can take the bus from the train station to the hotel in one stop. Thank you very much for upgrading us to the five-star hotel where we checked in. The lady at the front desk was very friendly and enthusiastic. The room we stayed in was spacious and bright. Except for the lack of toothbrush and toothpaste, there were slippers and other toiletries, and the toiletries were high-end. There was a small incident because although two people applied for it when making a reservation, only one person's name was reserved, so we were only given a travel pass. When visiting the ancient city of Chiyong, we need another transportation card to get a 50% discount. , fortunately, I got the number of another transportation card through phone communication. Hope this is noticed when checking others in. Overall, a very satisfying stay experience
GGuest UserLovely hotel conveniently situated within 5 mins walking distance of Chatea d’oex village and train station. Room was clean and spacious with en suite toilet and shower. Comfortable bed and plenty of hanging and storage space. Continental breakfast had a good selection of cereal, meats, hot drinks, eggs and breads. Staff were friendly and efficient. Would definitely stay again
