Find the Cheap Kandersteg Hotels

Breakfast is extra, more than ten francs, very expensive, breakfast is super simple, but convenient, forget it. Although it is an older hotel, it is also very exquisite. It is very close to the scenic spot, within walking distance, and there is a bus at the door. The front desk of the hotel is very nice, tell us about places to play nearby, check the weather forecast, tell us how to go, and free rides on the cable car and bus cards, there are discounts on tickets, all in all, it is the best choice. If you want five-star treatment, you can live here. This is very classic. Even the elevator doors are opened manually, which is quite interesting.

I had never heard of Kandersteg before and nor had anyone else that I spoke to about Switzerland but when I found this hotel on the Inghams website I decided to take a chance. I’m so glad I did! It is surrounded by mountains and just outside the small town and is both lovely, inside and out. We had two rooms, one ambience room for the children and we were upgraded to a suite, both rooms were spacious and very clean and had stunning views of the mountains. The inside pool was a big hit as was the snooker room and back from days out for tea and cake at 4pm a really nice little extra. Food was always going to be tricky as I’m the first to admit that I’m a bit fussy but the waiters were professional and friendly and always helpful with menu choices and swapping things around for us! Reception staff were very pleasant and picked us up and dropped us back to the train station when we arrived and departed. The only thing if I was being super picky would be the daily news, all written in German about the weather, things going on and menus for the evening. English guests seem to be the minority in the hotel which I am more than happy with but for when English guests are staying there, a copy in English would be really nice as we missed some of the important news for one of the evenings about a music night and then the waiters were surprised when we knew nothing about it! All in all a stunning location and perfect for day trips using the local buses, trains and cable cars

What a wonderful end to my trip! I saved this till the end of my trip to end with a little bit of luxury. Absolutely brilliant from when I arrived - all the staff were so friendly (which was refreshing as my previous place weren’t too friendly) They gave me a different room to the one I had booked (a better one!) which was a brilliant surprise! The room felt luxurious and homely with a view of the gorgeous lake :) The spa facilities are brilliant (and were super quiet due to assuming it being ‘off season’ - there was only one other person I saw in there but on a different room) so I had the hot tub to myself. The cosy lounge is just that, it looks so cosy and beautiful For breakfast there was a large selection of things to choose from and was super quick service. I very much recommend this place - wish I could have stayed a little longer - thank you so much!

We were able to spend a wonderful long weekend at Haus Uf der Flue. The Maurer family gave us a friendly welcome, the apartment was clean and big enough for our group of 9 people. All tip top, thank you

I have been going since I was a child in the ski holidays and have been excited about it since then. Now I was there for the first time with my daughter 7-monatigen and was again excited. Super equipped for children, very friendly staff, a great dinner/buffet, sohar a beautifully renovated dining room, cozy, clean rooms, competent and premature management of the administration. There is a great box around! I recommend the Alpina Hotel to all families (we have been there for years as a grandfamily with uncles, aunts, cousins and grandparents) but also with friends or alone and for the second time it offers everything you want! Das „The Cambrian“ ist ein sehr gut geführtes Haus mit Wellness-Einrichtung in Adelboden. Die Rezeption ist sehr höflich. Man bekommt, und das ist nur noch selten der Fall, sein Hotelzimmer gezeigt und erläutert. Das war sehr angenehm. Das Hotelzimmer (Junior Suite ist Panorama-View) war sehr schön eingerichtet. Bequemes Bett, Sofa mit Wohnzimmertisch, großer Flachbildfernseher, Telefon und grosses Badezimmer mit Dusche, sorgten für einen angenehmen Aufenthalt. Der Zimmerservice war ebenfalls ausserordentlich freundlich und Rücksichtsvoll. Der Wellnessbereich besteht aus einem Innenpool mit kaltem Wasser und einem Aussenpool mit warmen Wasser. Weiterhin besteht die Möglichkeit zum Sauna Gang in einer Trockensauna bei 85 Grad Celsius sowie einem Dampfbad. Wellness-Angebote wie beispielsweise Massagen sind buchbar und man sollte diese bereits bei Hotelbuchung buchen, da sehr gefragt. Die Damen und Herren im Wellnessbereich erstehen ihr Handwerk und sind ebenfalls sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit. Kommen wir zum Restaurant und zum Frühstück. Bei Frühstück gibt es wohl alles was man sich wünscht. In einem schönen Ambiente mit Panoramasicht kann man hier sein Frühstück genießen. Aber auch beim Abendessen gibt es nichts zu meckern. Ausgezeichnete Küche und ausgezeichneter Service erwartet hier den Gast. Selbst wenn man vom Menü etwas austauschen möchte, ist dies sofort möglich. Auch hier darf ich die Freundlichkeit und Serviceorientiertheit des Personals hervorheben. Das Personal spricht Deutsch, Englisch, Französisch und Kroatisch. So zumindest habe ich es mitbekommen; aber nicht jeder spricht Deutsch, was allerdings nicht wirklich ein Problem darstellt, da die Anzahl der Servicekräfte herausragend ist. Für PKW´s gibt es kostenpflichtige Parkplätze vor dem Hotel und in der Tiefgarage. 18 CHF pro Nacht zahlt man hier für die Unterbringung des Fahrzeugs. Auch Hunde sind willkommen, 35 CHF pro Nacht ist für die Unterbringung des Wau Wau zu zahlen. Dies dürfte in der Tat etwas billiger sein, denn Futter etc ist mitzubringen. Wir hatten ein wunderschönes verlängertes Wochenende und freuen uns bereits jetzt auf unseren nächsten Besuch.
