Find the Cheap Beatenberg Hotels

Hotel Fassbind is more than a hotel it’s an experience. Dani and Linda were local experts on activities to do based on the weather time of year etc. The rooms are incredible filled with real wood furniture of high quality, the mattress was comfortable the view was incredible from the room and the dining area. Breakfast was filled with local delicacy and Dani allowed us to sample several cheeses and meats every morning.There was an honor fridge filled with quality drinks and alcohol. The location is directly on a bus line and very close to Schlidthorn which was the first recommendation we recieved which was absolutely incredible. It is also very close to the city center of Interlaken. I can’t say enough about the quality of my wife and I’s stay. Dani speaks very good English and German and a language barrier did not exist for us. Also Heidi and Erich were the sunshine of every morning. This review was written by my 8-year old daughter: About this hotel: It is a family hotel. If you are a kid, the first thing they are going to do is give you a teddy bear. It has a swimming pool and a gym. The swimming pool is really cool and it has a small waterfall built into a rock. The gym is quite big itself but we didn't go there. It has a nice view and a nice hotel restaurant. The food is really good and they have a really great breakfast. You order the main food and you get to choose the side dishes from a breakfast bar. For the main food, I picked omelet - it is quite yummy but it was not salty enough. For the side dishes, I picked cereal, kiwi and juice. They were all really yummy and sweet. You should go to Dorint. I give this hotel a five star review. -- From the parents' side a few additional notes: On the negative side - There is no AC in the apartment, so while this may not matter in the summer, it was quite warm during our visit (30-35C). It cools off nicely in the evening, but there are no screens on the window, so you'll likely end up with a few moths or other bugs in the room if you leave the windows open. On the positive side, they really cater well to families - from the teddy bear at check-in to a little board game on the back of the kids menu, to the small playground area (which seemed to be good for 4-6 year olds). One of the best places to stay and enjoy the outdoors with a captivating views of the Jungfrau and Swiss Alps with the Thun lake surroundings serene countryside. A must visit during your trip to the Alps and is tucked away off the beaten path at Beatenberg.

We visited Beatenberg as part of our road trip to Switzerland and amazed by the view of this village hence decided to checkout earlier from our hotel in Bern and stay in Stern hotel for the rest of our trip. We had a very nice, cosy, clean penthouse with a balcony and perfect view. I can’t recommend the host ( Vlad ) more than enough. His hospitality skill is fantastic and made us feel at home. He is a very social, kind gentleman who is always keen to support when needed. He advised us on the best attractions around the village and how to plan well for each day to enjoy the most. We all cant wait to return back Thanks for everything Vlad. Hope to see you soon again

I don't know why this is not a 4 star hotel instead of 3! Sonja runs an impeccable, darling Swiss hotel with comfy beds, an amazing sauna/spa and the most unforgettable dinner we've ever had! The views of the Alps from here were amazing! We found out that the 5 star hotels in town send their guests to Salzano for their dinner as it is that good. Sonja took time to explain every room of the sauna and how to best use it, even when the hotel was very busy. We needed laundry done and even though they usually need 48 hours in which to do it, she got it done in 36 as we had to leave. Superb EVERYTHING at this hotel - I cannot say enough! Thank you, Sonja and staff!!

A really nice place to stay in Interlaken. Good rooms, clean, cosy, good bed and nice bathroom. It’s a really nice old house. Nice staff, very helpful. There is enough place in their parking garage. The kitchen is open and breakfast is good, simple, but good. If you want to visit Interlaken; this is a really good place to stay!

The hotel is located about 650m from Interlaken West station. It is a direct, flat and easy enough walk, even dragging suitcases behind you. It is an old, traditional style building, with 2 sections - front and rear - with the rear section possibly a bit quieter than the front, from a traffic perspective, but the road is not overly busy anyway. The rooms are a little dated, but comfortable. We (a couple) were upgraded to a family room (mezzanine second bedroom) in the rear section, although the main area was still relatively small. The room had a balcony, which is always nice, but no fridge or air con. Two portable fans were in the room and these were needed, in conjunction with an open balcony door, given the days were hot and nights warm. However, the important things were good - a comfortable bed and a good shower. The staff were very helpful and friendly; the predominantly cold breakfast was quite reasonable; there was a bar/lounge on the ground floor of the rear section; the Old Town was a 10 minute walk and there were a number of restaurants within the same 10 minute walk, so the location was fine. All in all, although not really modern, it was comfortable and it provided a pleasant stay.

The best hotel I stayed in during my self-driving tour in Switzerland. First of all, the hotel is very, very, very beautiful. It has its own large parking lot, free parking, and there is a super large lawn behind the parking lot. Secondly, it takes less than 15 minutes to walk to Interlaken West Station, Chinese restaurants and hot pot restaurants, and the central shopping street. Thirdly, the service is very, very good. The lady at the front desk introduced herself as Italian, so she used Google Translate on the iMac computer at the front desk to explain the check-in instructions to us in detail: there is an elevator to go up and down the stairs 🛗 There is afternoon tea (including coffee, drinks and desserts) from 2pm to 6pm. If you return late at night, you need to use the room card to open the hotel door. Free tourist bus tickets were given, etc. It was very detailed and nice. The room has a pleasant view, the small balcony is very elegant, and the facilities are also very new and modern. There are hair dryers, kettles, disposable mouthwash cups, and enough bath towels. In short, it is a perfect stay experience, recommended!
