We recently spent a night at Auberge Bruine Oceane. We stayed in their basement room. One might balk at staying in a basement suite, but we chose it for the king size bed. We were not disappointed. The room was very spacious with an en suite bath. The shower had a rain head, body jets and a hand wand. The bed was very comfortable. You would never know you were in the basement. Unfortunately we had to leave early the next morning to catch the ferry, so were unable to enjoy the breakfast. A nice addition would be a 'to go' breakfast for those who find themselves taking the early ferry.
On our trip we stayed at all 3 Riotels. We decided at Mantane to go with a balcony which was extra money. It was a very busy hotel compared to Bonaventure and Perce but expected as it was Friday night. The reason I put the value only average was that we could not use the balcony because of the campfire which was blazing and the smoke in the air from it. Even with the door closed the smell of the smoke was in the room. Therefore for what we paid extra for the balcony we did not get our money worth.
The hotel was very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable. The hotel is located in Matane, close to everything but far from the traffic. The hotel was very comfortable and very comfortable and the hotel was very comfortable. Just a message to parents with children: svp, don't let them run (to play) on the gallery that along the rooms ...ça makes a hell noise and it's disturbing for people who are here to relax.

What a great place to stay. The room was clean and quiet and the buffet breakfast was amazing. Breakfast choices included: bacon, sausages, scrambled eggs, home fries, waffles, pancakes, fruit, yogurt, cold/hot cereal, heated muffins (tres bon), and coffee, tea, juice and more. The outdoor pool was heated and had glass panels to see out and tiki type umbrellas to add to the atmosphere. There was also a life guard on duty which was surprising. We stayed two nights and housekeeping was provided on the second day also. Staff were very friendly and helpful. The hotel is not far from the village of Matane and is located right on the main highway. Thanks for a great stay.
